Or was it all just complete political bull$hit? She weighed her options, and realized that it would be political suicide if she didn't allow democracy to take place, to let this vote go ahead.

Granted, we cannot drill our way out, BUT, yes the old liberal BUT, we need to be self sufficient for lower needs with alternative energy as well.
