humanevents.com — Moderate Rep. Jim Leach (R-IA) had a gambling problem -- not to say that he gambled, but he was the driving force behind a bill that banned poker over the Internet. Leach was the victim of a campaign by online poker players to defeat those who pushed the measure. He lost by a handful of votes, many of whom assuredly played online poker.
