Around Independence Day, community members (including one who served in Vietnam) said they were offended and believed he was disrespecting the flag.
The DA sent officers to take the flag down during the Fourth of July parade, and returned it to him the next day.

It's freedom...which was denied by a bunch of cops listening to people who have confused or possibly take for granted that freedom. They think that freedom means that they can impose their will on someone else.
Email these guys if you're so inclined. I think people need to recognize that actions, are becoming part of a larger theater. Things like this aren't just local town gossip, when it hits the interweb everyone knows your business.
