Paulville? Count Ron Paul Out
cbsnews.com — "I don't think that's the solution," says the still-running Republican presidential candidate. "You want to spread out and be as pervasive as possible." Meanwhile, the paulville.org website has already disappeared. Scam, anyone?

On Monday, just days after the announcement of the land purchase, the Web site Paulville.org went out of existence. No contact information had been on the site when it was live; phone calls and e-mails to the site administrator over the last several days have gone unreturned"
Who wants to say it with me? SCAM!!!!- KMye, on 05/12/2008, -6/+17Paul supporters scammed?? Nah...
- Herkimer56, on 05/12/2008, -6/+16That could never happen. Ronbots are far too intelligent to be taken in by a scam.
- teichenauer, on 05/13/2008, -8/+2As opposed to those who think that the government solution is the best and only solution, private enterprise carries with it the possibility of failure. The weeding out of failed society offers many more chances for multiple successful societies.
The Free State folks in NH are having a good time and while I haven't heard much about the Front Sight community if it is half as successful as the self-defense facility then it should be plenty successful.

- bluto36, on 05/12/2008, -6/+15not the Good Doctor, say it aint so Ron Paul
- Herkimer56, on 05/12/2008, -10/+17Maybe they'll name one of the FEMA prison camps in his honor.
- GoatRoper, on 05/12/2008, -11/+18Paulville or Jonestown? Both required lots of kool-aid to live in.
- teichenauer, on 05/13/2008, -10/+2What-cha got against Kool-Aid bub? Advocates of statism drink plenty of it and aren't going to Kool-Aid Anonymous no matter the damage to the actual citizens of Iraq/Afhanistan.

- jcm267, on 05/12/2008, -9/+17This read like an Onion article.
- ssn697, on 05/13/2008, -5/+14LOL. Dude, I thought the exact same thing! The surreal world of Ron Paul....
- teichenauer, on 05/13/2008, -5/+5The world is a many-faceted place. I am happy I live in the same country where Paulville is a possibility rahter than one where Clintonville or McCain's Hollow is possible (ack - it is just possible fools will vote for HRC or J-McCain - ack!)

- teichenauer, on 05/14/2008, -1/+1Prohibit failure and you prohibit success. North Korea has universal success and universal poverty (unless you are the guy who makes the rules and brakes the rules).

- SheilaNoya, on 05/13/2008, -5/+8Ummm.. This may come as s surpised to you teichenauer, but none of the other candidates have a group of supporters that wants to baracade themselves in a private, guarded compund where everyone is heavily armed and only their sworn loyalists are allowed to live outside of government laws and regulations.
A place like "Paulville" only appeals to you guys. OK, and also to some cults like the one in Waco, Jonestown, and now this Mormon mess we're all finding out about.- teichenauer, on 05/14/2008, -1/+1When it comes to Ron Paul supporters - nearly all of them (at least those I have met) want nothing more than to be left along to their own peaceful pursuits. The folks in Waco were an example of a peaceful group who was attacked and eventually massacred by the government because the ATF was having budget problems and wanted more attention and more money (and guess what - they got it - imagine that).
The FLDS group in El Dorado was invaded by the Texas government as a result of a false report by a black woman in Colorado claiming to be a minor in Texas.
I am not going to defend Jonestown but if your claims and aspersions of culthood are reflective of the average American then I really worry about the peaceful people out there and the folks who will be cheering from the coloseum as they are fed to the lions on live TV.

- card51short, on 05/13/2008, -2/+2Silly scam? So it's all another ploy to you guys?
You guys are getting weirder and weirder by the day.
Conspiracy nuts. - teichenauer, on 05/23/2008, -1/+1Just because you haven't taken the time and effort to understand the issue you choose instead to call the Ron Paul movement "weird".
You drink the neoconservative kool-aid and think that all folks who support peace and prosperity are "nuts".
I hope one day that you will take the time and effort to really learn the issues. I tolerate those I disagree with so long as they do not harm me, I only wish the US government would do the same.

- COINTELPROAgent, on 05/13/2008, -8/+12There must be a couple of ronpaul fans out there who are crushed by his rejection. Knowing this gives me a happy feeling inside :-)
- Kent4jmj, on 05/13/2008, -7/+2Plenty of Vultures here at the Cyber Road Kill Cafe. To bad the "Main" course is still alive and kickin.
- card51short, on 05/13/2008, -4/+5what the hell is paulville? lol
- ssn697, on 05/15/2008, -4/+7The Paulville website is back online, and classy as ever. Their banner that claims to be looking out from the property? They stole the image from the DellCity website, just cropping out the copyright information, then claiming it as their own.
The site is running DOG slow, so I suggest not going there for a laugh. It is laughable that they steal someone else's hard earned work. Typical...- KMye, on 05/15/2008, -1/+3Copyright laws are not authorized by the constitution! Copyright laws are needless collectivist regulations that inefficiently address an issue a truly free market would correct for by itself!!
