- SheilaNoya, on 08/29/2008, -36/+292McCain obviously made his pick out of utter desperation, rather than do what's right for America's future.
Let's see how many women actually want to vote for Palin and her strong anti-abortion stance. She's a conservative who stands by McCain and his long record of voting AGAINST women's issues. The fact that Palin has a vagina doesn't mean that McCain is suddenly a wise choice for women. He's the worst thing that could happen to women and adding a conservative like Palin doesn't change that fact. - Echota, on 01/05/2009, -36/+265Sarah Palin Is A Creationist

McCain Picks Anti-Choice Palin as VP
http://www.naral.org/
Sara Palin IS NO HILLARY CLINTON!
No way!, No how! , NO McCAIN/PALIN IN 08!! - johnnr2, on 08/29/2008, -16/+199Can't wait till the first time he calls her a c*nt!
- claudiagc, on 08/29/2008, -35/+192Yes, he is CRAZY. He picked a woman that is against woman rights.
Not experienced. Not a leader. (unless you count reindeer). Not a good idea. Not getting elected!
Just shows you that McCain is grasping at straws and is totally crazy if he thinks he will get Hilary's votes. Ha! - BishkekBuddy, on 08/29/2008, -33/+164And, as President Clinton said, Obama's first presidential decision was a hit out of the ball park...

Jesus Christ. . . - centerzero, on 08/30/2008, -15/+106When I was young (I mean younger than now), it was 1972, I lived in Argentina. Peron returned to the Country after an amnesty with the military Government and he was elected President with a huge majority. His VP was Isabella Peron (an Argentinean young lady he met in Spain during his exile. Evita Peron (not Madonna!!, the real one...) had died 20 years earlier, and the old General was addicted to have his couples as partners, so Isabella Peron became the Argentineans´VP. Nobody cared, Peron was strong enough to manage the Country and he would take it back under the World spotlights. There was one little problem, the old General was 74 years old and he died of cancer one cold evening of the Buenos Aires Winter. Isabelle, blinded by her lover (on of the ministers) did nor resign and accepted the Presidency. Her complete political inexperience led Argentina onto a 20 years crisis and causes a Civil war with over 30,000 victims. Those day I learned how important is a VP fro someone who can eventually die.
- Chocobot, on 08/30/2008, -3/+87Reading through that first page made me want to shove my head into a blender.
- AndrewDB, on 08/30/2008, -1/+73These people aren't democrats .. they're not even republicans..
They're lobotomized drones. - renchu, on 08/29/2008, -20/+92it's sad that people are actually going to fall for this obvious political ploy. i've got to give it to him tho, that's a smart move, trusting in the ignorance of Americans to think that if they were gonna vote for Hillary then any woman would do - he's got a way better chance now with a woman for a running mate. Even if she's got zero experience in foreign policy and barely enough political experience to qualify her for the office.
- ialas, on 08/30/2008, -13/+75Someone should make a website called "Things with More Experience than Sarah Palin".
Such as:
1. IMAX Theaters
2. World of Warcraft gold farmers
3. Hillary Clinton's shadow - lopla, on 08/30/2008, -11/+69BREAKING NEWS: McCain has backed out of the Palin choice. The VP spot has been handed to his 2nd choice Jeb Jenkins, a gasoline pump attendant in Greenville South Carolina. As McCain's colleagues battle the bewilderment many staunch supporters claim Jeb is a lock and ready to be President.
- inactive, on 08/29/2008, -17/+69Clinton supporters should be offended at this obvious pandering attempt. It's sad to already hear how ignorant these people are to unconditionally support this Vp purely because she is a woman.
McBush is disrespecting everyone by selecting a woman just to increase his vote count. - fhernand, on 08/30/2008, -5/+56Third comment by "Cristines" (who has 2300 posts): "Fox News is talking about Palin!"..
well, it's comforting to know where she likes to get her news.. - ireland88, on 08/30/2008, -3/+47God damn ignorance.
- lopla, on 08/30/2008, -9/+50I keep mousing over the McCain/Palin links expecting to see urls pointing to theonion.com. Surely this can't be real? Maybe this is Ashton Kutcher's biggest Punkd ever? This simply can't be real.
- moheybee, on 08/30/2008, -2/+44How could anyone vote for McCain that truly supported Clinton for reasons other than her vagina?
"Revenge is always the weak pleasure of a little and narrow mind” - OstrakonX, on 08/30/2008, -4/+45God dammit.
I facepalmed so hard it fractured my skull. - Enderz, on 08/30/2008, -8/+44The comments from her friends and family about her are laughable. From her best friend, "She is fun, once you get to know her, she is fun, and a strong person." If that is all they have to say about her, our country is in big doo doo if they get elected.
- neognostic, on 08/29/2008, -11/+46While McSames was a foul tip off of his ankle. Ouch!
- leif77, on 08/30/2008, -2/+35Wow... they were just voting Hillary to vote for a woman. And if they vote for this chick they're barely voting for a woman. Only girls enter miss ______ pageants.
"AS for the Dums whining that she doens't have experience running things--SHE HAS FIVE KIDS!! TRUST ME! SHE KNOWS HOW TO RUN THINGS!".... wtf? - dn11, on 08/30/2008, -7/+37You know what, maybe I'm crazy... but I'm starting to believe this might be some sort of evil genius pick by McCain (or Karl Rove, or whoever it is in the smoke filled room that is calling the shots here)... they're setting us up for an administration that is identical to Bush's in ideology and policy - that can somehow claim "maverick" status - that seems new and fresh and different because of a 44 year old female that no one has ever seen before. I think Begala may be underestimating the republicans here. Obama and Biden need to keep their guard up. But I'm not even sure if they should go after Palin directly - they need to undermine her indirectly - otherwise they will stir up charges of sexism and bullying a mother of 5 children with a down syndrome infant. They just need to absolutely annihilate John McCain on the issues. Annihilate him on the failed republican policies he has supported. All the dems thought Bush was a ridiculous candidate too... remember how that worked out? Don't forget: America can and will vote stupid if given the opportunity to do so.... I hope I'm wrong and I hope Palin proves herself to be a sub Dan Quayle embarrassment... but I can tell you from browsing around various corners of the internet today - the right wingers and neo cons are extremely happy with this pick
- blakecr, on 08/29/2008, -5/+34Biden is the Chairman of the Foreign Relation Committee...
What the ***** are you talking about? - Schmapdi, on 08/30/2008, -11/+39I saw one of those PUMA ladies on Hardball earlier, and she was already saying what a great choice Mccain made.
She had dead, bitter eyes too. - TedinAsia, on 08/30/2008, -7/+34It's good to know that when that 3am call comes to the White House, Sarah Palin will be out Moose Hunting with her Dad.
"The Heaths were avid outdoors enthusiasts; Sarah and her father would sometimes wake at 3 a.m. to hunt moose"
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Sarah_Pa ... - mithrasinvictus, on 08/30/2008, -5/+32Maybe she'll stop plastering on the makeup like a trollop now that she's VP.
- futrsenator, on 08/29/2008, -5/+29are you retarded? biden has ALOT of foreign policy experience. Boston Globe: Foreign policy got Biden the VP nod (http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2008/08 ...
fact is, she has NO experience at all. - inactive, on 08/30/2008, -29/+51John McCain - Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, tried to commit suicide = Palin, with zero credibility and zero experience becomes US president.
Oh ***** dear!
Obama/Biden 08 - McCain is a dick! - passivex, on 08/30/2008, -9/+31OK, it's official. Obama wins this election. We might as well save all that campaign money (from both sides) for the huge tasks that will need to be done in the coming years.
There is no way McCain/Palin will stand a chance against the Obama/Biden team. NO WAY!
Seriously, when I heard about McCain's VIP pick, April Fools came to mind then I realize we're only a few months away from one of the most important election in US history. WTF! - YellowStar, on 08/30/2008, -4/+26And she will announce she is pregnant say .. mid-October...
- Arishia, on 08/29/2008, -19/+40Wow, his first choice, and he takes a big gamble? That's not change we can believe in. (lol) I sure don't want a president that gambles on our nation's future.
- Ramez05, on 08/30/2008, -4/+25ive been to sudan so i technically have more foreign policy experience than her
- benroy, on 08/30/2008, -1/+22It's okay, we're all adults here.
It may be offensive, but you're allowed to say *****. - TheCollective00, on 08/30/2008, -3/+24Alaska = Large government? LOL
- KenC411, on 08/30/2008, -2/+22She was mayor of a town that had fewer people than my college, then became governor of the 6th smallest state in the country. Besides, McCain is a lot lot old.
- renagadex2, on 08/30/2008, -0/+20"yay
McCain need to put her on his myspace main pic
than they will go in my top friends"
are you ***** me - Chestnutridge, on 08/30/2008, -8/+27How do you know the "Obamaites" (whatever that is) are certainly upset? I haven't seen any sign of it. Most of them seem to be greeting this with amusement and as a gift.
While I did hear one conservative wonder how it will look for the Republicans to nominate for Vice President a woman who, instead of staying at home and taking care of her special needs baby, runs for a demanding office which will require her to all but ignore her child. However, I don't think that will be much of a problem. After all, they bought the idea that Bush was a devout evangelical Christian. They will be able to rationalize this too. - Kerath, on 08/30/2008, -0/+19If you want someone who will fight the Republican party, maybe you shouldn't vote for them.
- EllipsisAeon, on 08/29/2008, -6/+24Biden is one of the most experienced and probably the damn toughest Senator in the nation.
Ignorance is not bliss. - TeKFX, on 08/30/2008, -0/+17I cannot believe what I just read in that forum discussion! The individuals there are more concerned with making sure that Obama does not get elected than the health and well being of this country as a whole. WTF?! Is it seriously that much more important to try and screw over AN ENTIRE COUNTRY because you were rubbed the wrong way. Stop thinking about yourselves god dammit and for once, JUST ***** ONCE, think of the other people living in this country. First, think of how your family and friends may be affected. Second, your village/town/city/whatever will be affected by four more years of the policy that is currently in use to run our country. Third, remember, there are 49 other states out there that are going to suffer due to poor judgement over being pissed off. Some people need to just look past yourselves and view the facts.
Yes, she is a woman. Great! Awesome! Good for her! Is she really ready to be second in command to run a country though?! Her experience seems to be limited to the state of Alaska. We need people who have a better idea of what is going on out there and willing to change it. Its just too easy to follow the same old routine which seems to be the direction in which we are heading. - verbose, on 08/30/2008, -1/+17This reminds me of when Bush nominated his housekeeper for the Supreme Court -- and then had to take it back.
- IIAmusedII, on 08/30/2008, -1/+17No, actually, YOU'RE a *****.
No, wait. You're not a *****. You lack the depth and warmth. - Lspook63, on 08/29/2008, -10/+25Well written summary of exactly how I feel about this pick. This woman is the second in line to run our country?? If this is what we have to look forward to with President McCain's judgement, I'd pick any of the other primary candidates over him!
- DiggRational, on 08/30/2008, -2/+17I couldn't read it....I just couldn't. Not this time. Not again. I've only just recovered from the last time, and that was more than two months ago.
- peticsu, on 08/30/2008, -5/+20for real, are you going to question Biden on foreign policy?
- archiesteel, on 08/30/2008, -5/+19I'm not upset: McCain just handed Obama the Presidency!
Bring it on!! - Revovisionary, on 08/30/2008, -5/+18http://www.sarahpalinisnthillaryclinton.com/
- WhiskeyLemur, on 06/30/2009, -1/+15Reading through that first page made me embarrassed to be a woman,
- CCB0x45, on 08/30/2008, -2/+16except yours is spelled wrong.
