Wrong, the single shot regimen, but the two stage regimen offers the same as getting a full-blown case of Chicken Pox. - ncurses, on 11/20/2007, -1/+4don't forget about the jews, pretty soon you'll be required to give them all your gold too, you better watch out for the conspiracy of international bankers

Do you hear about people getting measles, mumps, rubella, whooping cough, or polio lately? No? That's because of vaccines, you idiot! If I were a parent, I would make sure to immunize my children against the illnesses I just described. - DreadPirate, on 11/20/2007, -1/+4I never said that the diseases have been eliminated - I only said that people are not getting them because they have been vaccinated. If you bother to look up any of the information on whooping cough in particular, you would see that the vaccine if given to children when they are most vulnerable to the disease, but that the immunity is not permanent.
Vaccines do not kill the disease worldwide, as you seem to think. They only ensure that people vaccinated are not vulnerable to the disease. In only two cases has enough of the world been vaccinated to the point where a vaccine is no longer required. That is Polio and Smallpox. In every other case you *will* see the disease in question reoccur in unvaccinated populations, often with fatal results.
I am deeply sorry to hear about your two children, but should a millions of children be exposed to potentially *fatal* diseases because of a side effect that occurs in less than a hundredth of a percentage of the people given the vaccine? I am willing to bet that the mortality rate is orders of magnitudes higher in unvaccinated populations than in those given the vaccines. - fadeout, on 11/20/2007, -2/+5That's how America wiped out polio, for example. Go live in a 3rd world country and enjoy your new freedom to get preventable illnesses.

They want to, desperately. - DreadPirate, on 11/20/2007, -0/+2As much as I think children should be vaccinated against measles, mumps, and the other usual vaccinations, I agree that this is a bit much.
- chaosium, on 11/20/2007, -2/+4"My two kids have autism after getting vaccinations"
Correlation, not causation. - stephbangm, on 11/19/2007, -6/+8This is absolutely ignominious and horrific; I can't believe our country is decaying into this decrepit state. We need to make changes now or it's all over.
- DreadPirate, on 11/20/2007, -1/+3Is that the best you can do? You offer no factual defense of your wild theories, and you get upset when someone calls you paraniod?
- DreadPirate, on 11/20/2007, -1/+3Apparently this thread is just attracting the feeble-minded. *Hands darthchaosrspw the Tinfoil Hat of the Day award*
- HugoNaught, on 11/20/2007, -3/+4You (*&^(*&^(*^ need to put your tin foil hat on or put your head back in the sand. My two kids have autism after getting vaccinations against my better judgment and many reassurances from doctors that they were safe. I stopped their shots after they were diagnosed and after months of therapy and no shots they are luckily progressing. You and your ilk who blindly support the government, the pharmaceutical co's and their henchmen have absolutely no idea the maze of lies, deceit, and grief foisted on the unsuspecting, ignorant, and defenseless public. You have no idea what you are talking about and what many people are dealing with. But since you, in your infinite wisdom, have assured us that measles, mumps, rubella, whooping cough, and polio have been eliminated by vaccinations, that begs the question of why children are still being inoculated for non-existent diseases when a certain small percentage will have serious negative reactions or death caused by the needless inoculation. Could profits be behind this?
- ncurses, on 11/20/2007, -2/+3lol it is an affront to your freedom to be made immune to meningitis
dugg so that people can see what freaks you are - inactive, on 11/20/2007, -3/+3Yeah, lets go back and live in the days where varicella hospitalized thousands of children every year. Oh wait that was only about ten years ago. I suppose you truthers will be complaining next about being vaccinated against TB and polio?
- wishninja, on 11/20/2007, -4/+4Keep in mind that they are vaccinating against chicken pox and hep. b both are not life threatening like polio and small pox. These chicken pox vaccines only offer temporary immunity if the patient does not use the vacines later in life for example when they are elderly they would be more likely to die then if they caught the bug in their pre or early teens and catching the virus then offers lifetime immunity from the illness. In addition to that about four percent of cases of administered vaccine (about 1 in 33,000 doses) result in serious side effects including shock, encephalitis, thrombocytopenia (blood disorder) and 14 deaths.
People should be able to choose their own path on these vaccines. I am not against vaccines or anything but can you imagine the state holding a gun to your head and making you give your baby a shot then the baby ends up dead? With all of the cronyism and corruption in government can we or should we trust them to make our health choices of this nature for everyone? One case is the Hep B vaccine, it is given to children 0-1 yrs old. However, that is the lowest risk group if the mother is not infected the chances for the baby to get infected is so low it is actually more dangerous to get the vaccine but they still insist on it when screening the mother would be more effective although not as profitable. - keenonfreedom, on 11/20/2007, -3/+3Chickenpox is NOT smallpox and Hep B is not polio. This is overkill.
- Herostratus, on 11/19/2007, -7/+6Freedom to do what your told! God bless America!
- darthchaosrspw, on 11/20/2007, -5/+4This will all be repeated 10 years from now when it will be schools' recommendations for kids to have implantable microchips to protect them from sex offenders, then the media and the corporate shills will then fraudulently say "It's tha law. You must get your kids chipped", Then when you don't get your kids chipped and when the waiver forms are misplaced on purpose, your kids will be expelled and your kids and you will be arrested for truancy. The mass vaccination of the American population is leading up to the mass microchipping of the American population. THAT is how the globalists will achieve their goal of a microchipped population.
- inactive, on 11/19/2007, -8/+7Vaccinating children against diseases is "horrific?"
- josefrivera, on 11/19/2007, -8/+7As a parent I can tell you the terror that comes when some lame ass Doctor mentions vaccine, and then tries to convince me that they are needed. That is a bold face lie! Most of them contain more mercury than all the canned tuna in America and will cause autism, and a slew of other brain injuries.
Dint trust your government when they lie to you about what is good for your kids. - keenonfreedom, on 11/19/2007, -7/+6Think twice before vaccinating your children or yourself! Read scientific studies here. http://www.thinktwice.com/
- darthchaosrspw, on 11/20/2007, -4/+1Do the human race a favor and slit your own throat. The sooner zombies like you drop dead, the better.
