- lordtyros, on 02/03/2008, -4/+82I don't see any black people
- TheGreatBelow, on 02/03/2008, -1/+72404 Obama not Found.
- NinjaPirateDude, on 02/03/2008, -6/+70DUDE! i totally see me!
- NoStoppingUs, on 02/03/2008, -0/+64then you're not a very good ninja.
:( - inactive, on 02/03/2008, -3/+61I like the opening comment: "They told me there aren't any Democrats in Idaho!!!"
- radstopper, on 02/03/2008, -5/+47To get that many people at a Hillary Clinton rally you'd have to use cardboard cut-outs.
- erad222, on 02/03/2008, -2/+43I didn't even know 14,000 people lived in Idaho.
- ferrariman60, on 02/03/2008, -0/+38It's Idaho, there aren't any.
- TheChadwick, on 02/03/2008, -0/+37There is 1... I know him -- he slept in this morning.
- NinjaPirateDude, on 02/03/2008, -0/+28i never said YOU could see me.
- rz8472, on 02/03/2008, -0/+25To put things in perspective, this is BOISE IDAHO. Population 200,000.
In other words - almost 10% of the whole city came out to see Obama! - BlackSheepx, on 02/03/2008, -9/+33This is an astounding picture... It really gives me some hope. It makes me really happy to see Obama gaining momentum. Everything that's going on is extremely stressful on me and I'm sure others too. I was literally in tears earlier thinking about the idea of McCain taking the nomination or even more but I think if people can help it we'll be alright. I really would like to encourage everybody out there really think hard about the election and spread knowledge, be it for Obama, Paul, or anybody who seems to genuinely want to fix this big piece of ***** that America has become... I know things don't have to stay this way.
- TyroPyro, on 02/03/2008, -7/+30Here is an article on the event:
http://www.idahostatesman.com/newsupdates/story/28 ... - Dukaso, on 02/03/2008, -0/+22It's time to lose the 486.
- TyroPyro, on 02/03/2008, -0/+21Also, lets pretend I put "of" in the submission title
- TyroPyro, on 02/03/2008, -3/+2297% white population, sort of like Iowa
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idaho#Demographics - TyroPyro, on 02/03/2008, -1/+17You'd think there weren't if it wasn't for this! Bush carried 69% of the votes there in 2000 and 2004. Luckily, that doesn't matter when Idaho caucuses on Tuesday... only Obama matters.
- SaxmanTrav, on 02/03/2008, -1/+17There's a glowing ball of...something in section 31
- maiku00, on 02/03/2008, -4/+19I was at the Minneapolis rally today and the stadium was sold out and packed at 20,000 people.. the line stretched on for hours outside
http://www.flickr.com/photos/maiku00/2238414420/si ... inside - carterbaldwin, on 02/03/2008, -6/+21You're not as special as you think you are. Stop watching the Matrix.
- chickenwing21, on 02/03/2008, -3/+17I'm from Idaho, and 14,000 people means probably about 5% of the Boise area (including quite a few people I know). I'm pretty dang impressed when a Democrat can come to the most Republican state and pack this arena leaving over 1,000 people outside who couldn't fit in. Anyone who got inside was probably waiting at the doors by 7:00 AM.
- houndeyex, on 02/03/2008, -1/+15The picture's cool. I don't really care where it came from.
- TyroPyro, on 02/03/2008, -3/+16So many lame pessimists on Digg who are just anti-everything. Click! All better.
- t0ny, on 02/03/2008, -1/+14Wow, I watched the local news channel 7 and 12 which is rare for me and both barely said he was in town. Seems the local media does not like him.
- AndrewDB, on 02/03/2008, -0/+12I have you beat... I see Waldo.
- WayOfTheIronPaw, on 02/03/2008, -0/+12A little to the right of the half-way mark, underneath the R in the Ready For Change sign, 6th row back, fawn coloured top and looking straight at the camera.
- Vitrophyric, on 02/03/2008, -1/+12Congratulations: http://www.barackobama.com/issues/
- makkaveli19, on 02/03/2008, -1/+12oh... thats nothing... its just the blue portal. the orange one hasn't been shot yet so it doesn't take you anywhere.
- skew009, on 02/03/2008, -1/+12The Republicans HATE Ron Paul. Why? Because he IS different. Just look at his voting record. Ron Paul voted against the Patriot Act, Obama voted for it. Ron Paul has continually been against the war from the beginning giving speeches in front of Congress, Obama has continually voted to support funding the war.
- tdowling, on 02/03/2008, -0/+11And after looking at the stories you've dug...well....no, no, the herd of Ron Paul supporters can't possible by sheep. They're, what...disciples, right?
- MrMacMan, on 02/03/2008, -1/+11Ah yes, the attack on character with no specifics, how wonderful.
- jetcombo15, on 02/03/2008, -2/+12I was more surprised by the fact that there are actually people in Idaho. I'm pretty sure everyone in the state is in that picture.
- standxstrongx, on 02/03/2008, -0/+10Remember when FDR and his socialist initiatives pulled the United States out of the Great Depression? Yeahhhh, those were good times. But uh... You know, it clearly doesn't work. All those Scandinavian socialist democracies are just a fluke, right?
- OnymousHero, on 02/03/2008, -1/+10User submitted and voted-on articles are not spam. Both candidates evidently have passionate supporters - what's wrong with that?
- Gemfinder, on 02/03/2008, -10/+19I'm inspired. The People are speaking. Fired UP — Ready to GO!
- nigelstewart, on 02/03/2008, -3/+12James Whitmore supporting Obama:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuOHAvJAeqM - inactive, on 02/03/2008, -2/+10It is boring, I want pictures of cats.
- 4LeggedtriPod, on 02/03/2008, -1/+9White people can like black people now. It's not the '40s.
- smackjack, on 02/03/2008, -0/+8WTF that's my avatar!
- oMeSSiaHo, on 02/03/2008, -0/+8Umm... you do realize that those advertisements are for the place he is speaking, not him right? I'm sure Dodge paid Obama to put that sign up for that one speech.
Also, if the oil companies, drug companies, cigarette companies, auto companies, mortgage companies and airline companies have showed me anything in the last few years, its that capitalism doesnt work either. - Tiak, on 02/03/2008, -0/+8How the hell does one get a 361 (or so) degree panoramic shot with no seams?... I'm just curious here... There is an obvious time difference between the two ends (the guy above the S1 IT sign is looking two different directions), but not the motion blurs one might expect of a crowd over a period of time greater than 1 second.
- TyroPyro, on 02/03/2008, -1/+8"Socialism doesn't work" is a loaded statement and not a specific argument, please try again.
- DarkDx, on 02/03/2008, -0/+7http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2090/2237513684_576 ... ?
- inkswamp, on 02/03/2008, -1/+8After the utter failure of the Republican-damaged congress and Bush's horrific presidency, character attacks is all they have left.
- obelisky, on 02/03/2008, -0/+7but see, you haven't read the blogs he has... and let me tell you, it is an eye opening experience!
- TyroPyro, on 02/03/2008, -0/+7http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image_stitching
- TyroPyro, on 02/03/2008, -1/+8The orange one is to the bottom left of section 46. Man, Obama rallies are so advanced, these days!
- SleighBoy, on 02/03/2008, -0/+6Ron Paul is not a friend of any current "Republican", his views follow the constitution..he is an outsider. And great!
- pcghost, on 02/03/2008, -0/+6We'd like to keep it that way thank you... Less people/idiots = better state
