- Wakkyweed, on 07/02/2009, -10/+67Oh please, please, please let that idiot Palin get the Republican nomination in the next Presidential election! It would guarantee that they lose.
- avataros, on 07/02/2009, -8/+50No better blood than bad blood. Palin, the entertaining gift that keeps on giving.
- kingnova, on 07/01/2009, -3/+42That is the most insipid "he said, she said. I know you are but what am I" trash article I have read in a long time.
3 pages of NOTHING. Sad. THIS is what Republican insiders fight about? - steelersfan7roe, on 07/02/2009, -8/+44DEMOCRATS FOR PALIN 2012
Ensure Obama gets a second turn!! - BlueWindKami, on 07/01/2009, -10/+41The GOP trips on its own ... uh .... trunk, yet again.
- northwatuppa, on 07/01/2009, -5/+30Now this is reallllly beginning to sound nasty.
fta: [Bill] Kristol cited a passage in Purdum’s piece in which “some top aides” were said to worry about the Alaska governor’s “mental state” and the prospect that the Alaska governor may be suffering from post-partum depression following the birth of her son Trig. “In fact, one aide who raised this possibility in the course of trashing Palin’s mental state to others in the McCain-Palin campaign was Steve Schmidt,” Kristol wrote.
Asked about the accusation, Schmidt fired back in an email: “I'm sure John McCain would be president today if only Bill Kristol had been in charge of the campaign.”

- catalysis, on 07/02/2009, -2/+24If Reagan ran today, he would lose.
- arTech, on 07/02/2009, -6/+27Newsflash: Republican Party has been in shambles since 2006
- TheIndigoSky, on 07/02/2009, -4/+24He's shown his real birth certificate and posted it on the internet for the public to see, you dolt.

http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/birthcertific ... - AgeofMastery, on 07/02/2009, -2/+20It must really suck for a racist like you to have to deal with the fact that the President isn't white. No wonder you're willing to buy into the birther *****.
- HonestAbe, on 07/02/2009, -3/+21Or do a little reading about the Alaska Independence Party her family is so intimately involved with.
- inactive, on 07/02/2009, -1/+19"Schmidt suggested that Scheunemann had fingered Nicolle Wallace..."
FAP FAP FAP - dalittle, on 07/02/2009, -8/+25More like the remnants of the GOP eating themselves.
- hawkspur, on 07/02/2009, -2/+19Lol don't even respond to the Birthers folks. There is a huge mountain of evidence proving Obama was born in Hawaii, they are just mad that they lost; don't give them a platform to even wharrgarbl.
Protip: John McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone. - sonofabiscuit, on 07/02/2009, -3/+20Whoever said that about Reagan was an idiot. He was articulate, well spoken, and a popular former actor. Palin is just plain stupid.
- dalittle, on 07/02/2009, -8/+25Because he is an American and it has already been confirmed. How about you worry more about how you are going to feed your family and take care of yourself.
- walruspanzer, on 07/02/2009, -3/+19As a Republican, I can say it's hard to dispute this statement.
- inactive, on 07/02/2009, -2/+18I know I will be voting in the Republican primaries. How about you?
- Shadic, on 07/02/2009, -4/+20Fear? The prospect of her leading, maybe. She'd never be elected President though, especially with how she acted this campaign.
Please, run her in 2012, or better yet, 2016. - inactive, on 07/02/2009, -1/+16You're comparing a man who could speak, deliver a line, and act genuine, compared to a shallow, power hungry, piece of milf ass? You probably think the new Astin Martin for the masses will be just like James Bond's Car in the movies too...
- felman87, on 07/02/2009, -1/+15What I don't get is why Alaskians, who are so red, aren't against that oil tax money being redistributed to the people. Isn't that the same thing that Palin was rallying against in the election?
- niradg, on 07/02/2009, -2/+14Yes, it's true!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We fear Sarah Palin. Give here your money and campaign for her!
- Lazydriver, on 07/02/2009, -1/+13Reagan was anything but a fiscal conservative. The only kind of conservative he was interested in was the moralistic kind, you know, the one that shoves your privacy up your ass.
Sure he was an actor and was articulate, but he was still a god damn fool. Just as stupid as Palin was.
Articulation doesn't translate to intelligence, luckily Obama has both. However, the only problem with Obama is that he's sold out on a lot of his ideologies. - ftwb, on 07/02/2009, -2/+14On behalf of progressives the world over, please continue to run Sarah Palin in national elections.
- charlietuna, on 07/02/2009, -6/+18Not a flattering photo of her. I must be honest here; though Palin is an entertaining women with some charm, I really hope she goes down for the count. She is not leadership material.
- homercles337, on 07/02/2009, -2/+13No. That is not what they said about that senile ***** disaster Reagan. Reagan was a power house, the first neocon president should be, right?
- Technopundit, on 07/02/2009, -2/+13I'm just here to read people calling Palin names,
- hawkspur, on 07/02/2009, -2/+12Sarah Palin was by far the stupidest pick McCain could have made. It lost him the election.
-member of a Church that does the whole speaking in tongues and actual witch hunts.

Ad naseum. - americanoboy, on 07/02/2009, -5/+15rednecks are funny
- Coinspinner, on 07/02/2009, -2/+12Heck no we just want a good laugh sometimes.
- burythelurker, on 07/02/2009, -1/+10Why, why why why? Why do you even care about Obama's birth certificate? Don't you know that a child born to an American citizen anywhere in the whole damn universe is an American citizen? Obama could have been born on the Moon or in Panama (like John McCain) and still have been born an American. Jesus-*****-Christ, think!
- teebird, on 07/02/2009, -0/+9I suppose if you're completely ignorant of any of the real issues facing a president, you try to make it appear as if the daily fluctuations of your favorite popularity poll say all that needs to be said about his administration.
That says a lot more about you and people like you than it says about the president.
That's OK...You just watch the pretty graphs go up and down while the rest of us pay attention to policy and try to cast informed votes on your behalf. - Coinspinner, on 07/02/2009, -1/+10Driven frothy and mad by the likes of skinny Ann, fat Rush, and drooling Glenn.
- TheIndigoSky, on 07/02/2009, -5/+14The minute he made the Dan Quayle insult I was like "Oooohh snap!"
- Coinspinner, on 07/02/2009, -2/+11So you're saying a brilliant man shouldn't have been president because of some bureaucratic form designation?
You aren't disputing he was born in Hawaii? - Moralogic, on 07/02/2009, -0/+8bab, too bad the majority of the republicans in the US think Palin is a total nut job and media whore as well as the dems. Maybe your Pentecostal self should go live in a hole waiting for the return of jesus.
- ugacrew, on 07/02/2009, -1/+9She's definitely the gift that keeps on giving. :-D
- Beylan, on 07/02/2009, -0/+7This is what POLITICIANS fight about, from either party. They are all so divorced from reality that, according to them, this high school bitch fest is the most pressing issue facing the country.
- ethan406, on 07/02/2009, -1/+8I don't recall anyone asking for birth certificates when Bush was "elected," nor Clinton, nor Bush 41, nor Reagan, nor George Washington.
- ToastedFart, on 07/02/2009, -1/+8Well then I'm glad I read the comments first instead of opening the article.
- andytronic, on 07/02/2009, -2/+9"Was Palin a fresh talent whose debut was mishandled by self-serving campaign insiders, or an eccentric 'diva' who had no business on the national stage?"
If you have to ask... - Moralogic, on 07/02/2009, -1/+8glitch, i am sorry but any economic effects the dems would have would take more than a few years with how our system is set up. Everything government wise takes a while for the effects to show. We will be feeling the hell of Bush for years to come.
- Shaggy3, on 07/02/2009, -2/+9I think its safe to say we don't need to criticize the GOP any longer. They are doing a fine job making themselves look like children.
- inactive, on 07/02/2009, -10/+17Proving once again, they have nothing to offer our country but more of the same Bush-*****.
- Moralogic, on 07/02/2009, -0/+7I am sorry, but if you look at poles, it was when Palin came into the race that McCain's numbers started plummeting. I am sorry guys and gals who are hardcore Palin supporters, but that is the hard facts. As someone who was actually going to vote for McCain before he selected Palin. Let me list some reasons why I chose not to, in order of biggest to smallest reasons.
1. Palin not being able to answer simple questions, thought being able to see Russia counts for something, and doesn't know who all is part of NAFTA.
2. Having a child over the age of 40, after already having 3 kids, and knowing the probability of having a child with down syndrome.
3. The obvious support of Abstinence Only that Sarah Palin supports that has not had any success in it's entire existence.
4. Palin chas less experienced than anyone on the Obama ticket.
5. The economy needs help, and neither McCain nor Palin have the credentials for helping out the economy, only war.
6. I rather not put my government in the hands of a guy that looks like he is 3 steps from death with the running mate he chose. If he would have chosen Romney, I would have been very likely to vote for him. So would most of the other people I know in Indiana who voted democrat this year when they normally vote republican.
Yes, personal and business lives are separate, but if you can not manage your personal life in her current position, there is no way she can handle it as VP. I don't want a politician that is distracted by family drama which is everywhere with the Palin family, and I dont want one that makes poor choices that cause drama. - AmazingSteve, on 07/02/2009, -1/+7So Where's Palin's medical records by the way? What's she hiding?
- altgeeky1, on 07/02/2009, -3/+9In public, yes. In public the Republicans also try to wipe their hands clean of US soldier blood.
It's what they do in private that's more worrisome. - altgeeky1, on 07/02/2009, -1/+7keep her... and PLEASE try to secede while you're at it.
