You are The Boss... which team would you hire?
With America facing historic debt, multiple war fronts, stumbling health care, a weakened dollar, all-time high prison population, skyrocketing Federal spending, mortgage crises, bank foreclosures, etc. etc., this is an ***unusually critical*** election year.
Let's look at the educational background of your two options:
Obama:
Occidental College - Two years.
Columbia University - B.A. political science with a specialization in international relations.
Harvard - Juris Doctor (J.D.) Magna Cum Laude
& Biden:
University of Delaware - B.A. in history and B.A. in political science.
Syracuse University College of Law - Juris Doctor (J.D.)
vs.
McCain:
United States Naval Academy - Class rank 894 of 899
& Palin:
Hawaii Pacific University - 1 semester
North Idaho College - 2 semesters - general study
University of Idaho - 2 semesters - journalism
Matanuska-Susitna College - 1 semester
University of Idaho - 3 semesters - B.A. in journalism
Now, which team are you going to "hire" ?

(This is an unusually critical election year. Act responsibly. Please forward.) - DeskFlyer, on 09/05/2008, -26/+373McCain/Palin = scariest presidential ticket ever
- jtucker65, on 09/05/2008, -14/+248It's up to over 10 million now!
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -10/+206I know I gave money. I was so disturbed by the speeches Wednesday night that I coughed up $100 this morning.
I think Republicans should stop saying 'Oh You're Scared!' and start paying attention to wtf their party is doing, and that's making an ass of themselves. I've talked to two lifelong Republican party members in the past couple of days that say they are embarrassed and they aren't going to vote this election. But they won't vote 'Blue' because they don't want to listen or are too stubborn to. - michaelpinto, on 09/05/2008, -18/+158The stock market also tumbled after her speech - so she's already fast at work hurting the economy!
- sapphire9488, on 09/05/2008, -11/+149Hell yeah! I just made my first donation to Obama's campaign yesterday, and felt especially generous after listening to Palin's bitch-fest at the RNC. Glad to learn that others were motivated by it as well. Keep it up, Sarah!
- SoyJames, on 09/05/2008, -11/+142Yes, RETHUGLIGANS, we ARE scared. We are scared that half of the people in this country are stupid enough to vote for Palin "because they like her". And we were scared of Bush/Cheney in 2000 and 2004 and you didn't ***** listen did you? And now where are we? Trillions in debt and thousands of soldiers dead because of WMDs that didn't exist. Oil up over $100 per barrel since Bush took office. Untold amounts of unqualified puppets and cronies assigned to government offices. Shall we keep going?
- Digg4This, on 09/05/2008, -14/+145Every girl I know who has had a record of transferring colleges like that has been a total slut, just trying to escape the criticism. Generally those girls are outspoken type A personalities. Raises my eyebrows....
Sorry for the generalizations, just my observations from personal experience. - mushoo, on 09/05/2008, -2/+115Wait, Hawaii Pacific University? Why that is so close to Japan that Palin must be versed very well in American Japanese affairs. Although to be fair that is an elitist place to study or visit your family.
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -10/+112I just saw a facebook group 'Intelligent women against Sara Palin' with thousands of members
- chrisemc, on 09/05/2008, -6/+106It's frustrating to listen to asshats like Joe Scarborough claim that these funds came from the "Democratic Base." FYI Joe, I could care less where the funds came from, the fact is that enough people were disturbed by the Palin, and now McCain speeches to want to immediately donate money to Obama/Biden '08. Sure, she was impressive, and she certainly surprised me (more so than McCain) but really I found her words to be vapid and not substantial in any way.
This just in, being a "pitbull with lipstick" does not qualify you to negotiate with Iran. (unless you plan on humping someone's leg) - mickstephenson, on 09/05/2008, -2/+91The kind of people who vote McCain probably fear education and intelligence, so I doubt this information will change anyone's mind.
- FreeTalkLIve, on 09/05/2008, -12/+98I wonder what Palin sex tapes would be worth?
- thinkart, on 09/05/2008, -3/+72Huckabee/Palin = god am i thankful that isnt possible.
- TheRhinoceros, on 09/05/2008, -12/+69So despite the fact he can't get donations, nixfu, they still got $1,000,000???
Your logic circuits are overloaded, young McCainbot. Take a break.
And no, they actually aren't the reasons. Nice try though. - inactive, on 09/05/2008, -2/+59Looks like Palin is "energizing" the Democratic base more than the Republican.
Isn't that the exact opposite of the reason she was chosen????
This race was handed to Obama the day McCain chose her as a running mate. - hangingchad, on 09/05/2008, -5/+60Funny how the right wingers are saying libs are shaking in their boots when their candidates spend most of their airtime talking about Obama. If they were truly happy in their situation, they would spend the time talking about themselves and their plans.
- letherial, on 09/05/2008, -0/+55but but, Mcain has national security experience cause he was a POW
palin has national security experience because she lives near russia...and watched over the Alaska national guard
mcain has economic experience cause ......**thinks real hard** cause he loves america!!
palin has economic experience cause....**thinks harder** cause she is a soccer mom
Rebuplicans can fix the mess they put us in cause...cause...They are not the evil liberals
i think that about sums up the right wing talking points. - inactive, on 09/05/2008, -5/+47And you guys dug me down when I said it was a good speech;)
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -9/+51Each time Palin speaks a kitten dies, somewhere out there
- letdowntourist, on 09/05/2008, -3/+40I also like the one titled "Sarah Palin Doesn't Know ***** About *****"
Type: Organizations - Advocacy Organizations
Description: You gotta be ***** kidding me, McCain. - halicore, on 09/05/2008, -6/+39QTF and those that died:
And we were scared of Bush/Cheney in 2000 and 2004 and you didn't ***** listen did you? And now where are we? Trillions in debt and thousands of soldiers dead because of WMDs that didn't exist. - jaxter2010, on 06/17/2009, -3/+33I know something that would be scarier.
Bush / Cheney 2008 - BossKey, on 09/05/2008, -0/+30Leave Sarah Alone! Don't you see that she has a LOT of experience, having seen more universities than most Americans?
- berational, on 09/05/2008, -11/+41You know what the difference is between the current VP and the republican VP nominee? Lipstick!
Corrupt, Arrogant, fascist. We can't have 4 years or Darth Cheney's apprentice.
That is why Dems are doing everything they can to save America. - inactive, on 09/05/2008, -3/+33Sometimes I doubt your commitment to Sparkle Motion!
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -5/+35Ixnay on the McCainbot, the code word is Palindrone.
- suckanucka, on 09/05/2008, -9/+38She should open her mouth more often, but not speak.
- Narcism, on 09/05/2008, -5/+33Her daughter should have to, and she wouldn't be in the mess she's in.
- shupy, on 09/05/2008, -6/+34It doesn't matter who NEEDS money, it's about who people want to win. The thought of a pit bull with lipstick in the whitehouse is enough to open the money floodgates for Obama.
- jcaino, on 09/05/2008, -2/+29McPain.
- TheXuu, on 09/05/2008, -2/+28well.. given i don't make more than 5 million a year.. yes.
- tehsars, on 09/05/2008, -9/+35Nixfu, could you BE any more misinformed?
/Chandler - twiztidsinz, on 09/05/2008, -10/+36Hitler / Stalin
- zmjone2992, on 09/05/2008, -2/+27Or they are stupid and can't make the grades
- paintballs, on 09/05/2008, -6/+29Given Palin's selection I posted on McCain's blog asking to be his new FCC Chairman. After all I own some computers and telephones!
Here is my poll on the subject:
http://www.opednews.com/Poll/Am-I-qualified-to-be- ... - Dgen_X, on 09/05/2008, -3/+25Make that over $10,000,035...wish I had a bit more extra income right at this very moment...
- DeskFlyer, on 09/05/2008, -3/+25And then your alarm clock went off.
- xrisnothing, on 09/05/2008, -3/+24Palin/Rove in 2012!
- damndj, on 09/05/2008, -6/+27I donated.
- jodimcmullen, on 09/05/2008, -14/+35Nixfu, just keep watching Fox News. You can really tell which folks are addicted to their kool-aid.
- psibladeZX, on 09/05/2008, -1/+21Nice, I've been saying that about their education levels and no one ever listens... Dont worry, O has my vote over in NJ
- banderwocky, on 09/05/2008, -4/+24Now that's funny. While some seem to think that it took Palin to unit the republican party (McCain couldn't), looks like it took Palin to financially fuel the Democrats.
- wtc895, on 09/05/2008, -4/+24Actually biogears, if you would have checked both McCain's and Obama's tax plan (which have been clearly laid out) you would find that Obama will increase taxes for Households making MORE THAN $600,000.
McCain will cut taxes for corporations hoping that it trickles down to the middle class BUT IT NEVER HAPPENS!!! IS EVERYONE IN AMERICA IGNORANT!!
I have two words for you:
COME ON! - FairDinkumMate, on 09/05/2008, -5/+25Your comment doesn't make any sense!
By your logic, Obama should have been in a worse position because people have been donating to him not just in the previous week but for the past 2 years.
Try again..... - FreddieD, on 09/05/2008, -1/+21If you live in a state where one candidate is going to landslide win, please consider donating. I live in Kansas, and I want my vote to count. But unfortunately, my vote for Obama on Nov 5 is not going to mean anything, as McCain is going to win 65-35 without setting foot in my state. So, I gave $100 to his campaign while McCain flapped his gums, where it can be spent in a way infinitely more useful than my measly Kansas throwaway vote ever will.
If you are in a state such as mine that goes red every election, donating (even if just a little) is one thing you can do that will truly make a difference. - TheGoat7, on 09/05/2008, -1/+20Hey, you guys. I think it was a joke. You know?
I mean, not that good of one, but one nonetheless. - richiegecko79, on 09/05/2008, -0/+19Why did Palin move around so damn much?
- rodrigo74, on 09/05/2008, -0/+19Well the guy did ask "please forward". I suppose he doesn't mind, and actually wants that to happen.
Having said that, this is the 4th or 5th time I see it today, so this is starting to get spammy. -
