- Wosat, on 10/28/2008, -0/+6And Obama has the thinnest resume of any presidential candidate.
- inactive, on 10/27/2008, -4/+6Moron.
- basye, on 10/27/2008, -1/+3Yeah, Zogby and their infamous 'push-polling' can be trusted.
/rolls eyes - poprocksandsoda, on 10/28/2008, -0/+2This is more Left propaganda that actually hurts them more than it helps. I wonder if thinkprogress actually thinks before they print this. If I was a Dem walking into the voting booth doing that last second "Am I sure ..." thought process, all I would remember is to contrast Obama and Palin and say "Palin doesn't have enough experience, but Obama doesn't either ... thus I vote McCain". Why would a Left propaganda cess pool publish a story like this when a 4th grader could tell them it's actually hurting them more than it helps?
- btschul, on 10/28/2008, -2/+3So people shouldn't vote for a ticket with a VP with a little bit of experience, and should instead vote for the ticket with a President with NO experience (well, that's not entirely true. He does have experience training community organizers in accusing banks or racism and suing them to make them give loans to people who can't pay them back). Even his representatives can't name any of his accomplishments: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGeu_4Ekx-o
- redux2redux, on 10/27/2008, -7/+8So thin, you can see right through it!
- DealCracker, on 10/28/2008, -2/+3Yeah thin, especial compared to all those fat and notable accomplishments in Obama's resume.
- mikbunn, on 10/28/2008, -0/+1Hell no! She's got that thick baby-makin' torso and wide, tard-child spewin' hips.
- manlyandy, on 10/28/2008, -1/+1its not about experience really. its more about the kind of person that these people represent. palin, just like many other social conservatives, believe in stuff like creationism (not that this is bad in itself, but it is when it affects policy decisions) and that we dont need to know the cause of global warming and that polar bears are doin just fine. it just has the feel of a very unintellectual person with no real desire to be one.
even though mccain was near dead last in his class back in the day, with the way he generally carries himself now and has in the past i at least dont feel like he is an idiot, ya know? i just dont agree with his views.
then there's obama who puts all these other guys to shame with his sharpness. - Insightful, on 10/28/2008, -2/+2If you are not for the current Republican President/nominee/Senator/Congressman, you are automatically 1) not from Real America, 2) have anti-American feelings, and/or 3) Marxist/socialist/communist/Muslim/terrorist.
Welcome to our club Hagel! - inactive, on 10/28/2008, -1/+1So, when did Socialism become the "real" America?
- Ghostalker, on 10/28/2008, -1/+1I think my resume as a K-mart employee is more impressive. You'd be amazed by all the foreign-relations skills I have after dealing with the customers there.
- rald84, on 10/27/2008, -8/+7i see another moderate getting excommunicated in the GOP civil war
"Hagel may be the only senior Republican elected official who has publicly criticized McCain’s choice of Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate." - wishninja, on 10/27/2008, -2/+1But she can see Russia from her home in Alaska. That doesn't count?
Wayne Allyn Root even has her beat(I would bet).
Barr Root 08' - jcharak58, on 10/27/2008, -8/+3I bet she also has the thinnest waist??
- davidg11, on 10/27/2008, -7/+2And yet, Obama only leads in the polls now by 5 points
http://www.reuters.com/article/politicsNews/idUSTR ...
"Obama leads McCain by 49 percent to 44 percent among likely U.S. voters in the daily tracking poll, which has a margin of error of 2.9 points. Obama's lead has dropped over the last three days after hitting a high of 12 points on Thursday.
"Things are trending back for McCain. His numbers are rising and Obama's are dropping on a daily basis. There seems to be a direct correlation between this and McCain talking about the economy," pollster John Zogby said." - inactive, on 10/27/2008, -10/+3The Palin Derangement Syndrome on Digg is hilarious. If "feel your pain", groping your daughter and driving their dates off a bridge are not on their resumes, it's thin, by liberal standards.
thinkingsucks.org, the cackling witches at HuffPo, or the sniveling Kos Kiddos should stick to the topics the have hands-on experience with - working to legalize pot, crack, and heroin; or what about broadening school sex education to include live demonstrations?
