- plecostomus, on 10/05/2008, -48/+1012***** you Sarah Palin. I'm voting for Obama.
- omoshiroi, on 10/05/2008, -17/+877That's her plan of attack? "If you don't support me, you're going to hell."
- FragerZ, on 10/05/2008, -17/+490I should apply for VP
- inactive, on 12/08/2008, -13/+449Has she just figured out that most of us women hate her? Is this a threat? :|
- charm803, on 10/05/2008, -12/+279Thank goodness Sarah recognized the errors in her ways!
Maybe she will change her ways now that she realizes that she might go to hell for not supporting women......oh, wait...... - charm803, on 10/05/2008, -11/+236I was watching CNN or C SPAN today mid-morning (I can't remember which, channel surfing) and they were doing some commentary right before the rally, and one of the journalist was talking.
Behind him was someone holding a sign that said "Obama Country" for a long while, and while the guy was talking, you could see the moment the Palin supporters grabbed the sign and tore it down.
I've been looking for the video and I thought for sure someone would post it!
Anyway, I thought it was hilarious that Obama supporters were on tv for that long before Palin's supporters noticed.
Go to hell, Palin! - charm803, on 10/05/2008, -4/+209You can't. You're over qualified.
- ThaDRD, on 10/05/2008, -9/+212You ever cringe or feel embarrassed for somebody else? I get that way when she talks.
- redheaded1, on 10/05/2008, -9/+191McBarbie makes me want to vomit.
As a woman, I find her lack of intelligence, willingness to be the accomplice to anti-women policies, and obvious status as a token, to be offensive in the extreme. I have always stood as a feminist, but I don't support women just because they're women. I support them because they're equally qualified as men.
Bite me, Sarah. - d0nkeym0nkey, on 10/05/2008, -5/+181I wish George Carlin was alive :(
- DD2CC2U, on 10/05/2008, -15/+187McCain - I will do or say anything to get elected.
- inactive, on 10/05/2008, -12/+170Well, I guess that also means there's a special place in Hell for men who don't support other men, too, so I'd better vote Obama/Biden.
- jackieblu, on 10/05/2008, -9/+162So now we are all supposed to believe she reads the NYT - and paper cups! All the reasons the nuns told me I may go to hell, they forgot to mention this one. I would rather vote for someone that actually supports women's rights!
Obama 08 - TheAngryRabbit, on 10/05/2008, -5/+121That's the Bush/Cheney doctrine. If you don't support the war, you're not patriiotic. If you don't support me, you're an evil doer. If you don't support Palin, you hate woman and are going to hell.
- 3drage, on 10/05/2008, -6/+114The same person who wouldn't let the state provide for rape kits in Alaska? The same person who believes women should carry a rape baby to term? Death to the Republican party.
- Echota, on 01/05/2009, -10/+115I have a vagina just like Hillary Clinton does!
I know,I know! I'm not as intelligent as Senator Clinton is,but...... we vagina's have to stick together!
Vote for My Vagina!
We're smarter then that! - HumanNouveau, on 10/05/2008, -7/+104And really, Sarah. Starbucks? What were you doing down there swillin' Starbucks when Joe Six Pack is out there pining for you. For shame.
- thegrantman, on 10/05/2008, -8/+102Let's follow her line of reasoning.
-Women should support women simply because they are the same sex. Therefore,
-Men should vote for men.(That means John McCain should not vote for his own ticket since it contains a woman.)
How's that for straight talk? - sjsuarez, on 10/05/2008, -7/+95I'm 100% sick of this lady. Get her away from the cameras.
- inactive, on 10/05/2008, -4/+90Apparently, all you have to do is just show up! Republicans don't tend to question authority as much as Democrats, so just recite some party lines and you're all set.
- sweetbean, on 10/05/2008, -9/+95She drinks lattes at Starbucks?
WTF?!?
Isn't that elitist?! - p9s50W5k4GUD2c6, on 10/05/2008, -8/+93So may we rightly assume, Ms. Palin that YOU will be supporting Michelle Obama?
Or should we assume that, by your own quote, you are going to political hell? - mablung, on 10/05/2008, -2/+82Actually I want to ***** Tina Fey pretending to be Palin.
- HumanNouveau, on 10/05/2008, -1/+78Not only... You get the special place. Nice.
- avataros, on 10/05/2008, -8/+85Sarah, Sarah, Sarah. Just becuase you are the personfication of John McCain's mistake in his bid to appeal to the female voter, doesn't mean that you should turn on them because they hate you for your stance on issues that matter to women.
I'm sure women have an idea of the perfect candidate. I don't know who she is, and what positions she is supposed to take, but you definitely fail to live up to a minimal standard. And this is coming from a male. - RandomInt, on 10/05/2008, -5/+82Except for one thing: changing "help" to "support" completely misconstrues the meaning of the quote in this context.
It's a pretty good example of how dumb she and the people who support her are. - Bluntman4000, on 10/05/2008, -1/+74funny thing is, If you do vote for her you'll enjoy a Literal Hell on earth!
- peaceofpie, on 10/05/2008, -4/+75I can't wait until Palin gets the Starbucks cup that says, "In the end we're all the same."
- bparker727, on 10/05/2008, -3/+73Is there a special place in hell for women who make other women pay for their own rape kits? Sarah's probably got an engraved name plate down there!
- aptanalogy, on 10/05/2008, -1/+71What about a noun, followed by a verb, followed by 9-11?
- lisawalker1, on 10/05/2008, -7/+71I wasn't sure it was possible to like her any less – I was wrong. This is one of the most offensive statements I have ever heard out of a 'politicians' mouth.
- DD2CC2U, on 10/05/2008, -9/+73McCain - I will do or say anything to get elected to the Whitehouse. In this case I will have my staff tell Sarah Palin to say anything to get me, John McCain, into the Whitehouse.
- MarcomMom, on 10/05/2008, -3/+66Yes, simply by using a noun followed by a verb, you're disqualified.
- cmootoo, on 10/05/2008, -8/+71Yeah, that'll bring the female support back.
/s - AngelaQ, on 10/05/2008, -2/+63Apparently you don't even have to show up on a regular basis.
- basye, on 10/05/2008, -4/+60At least we know which coffee cup news she's reading.
- rock2casbah, on 10/05/2008, -8/+63Keep up the good work Paley! Wow, just amazing how she just keeps stepping in it. I am sure that statement will endear her to the independent women voters she needs.
- RevLoki, on 10/05/2008, -4/+56Mavericky!
- cuevas4711, on 10/05/2008, -5/+57With the comment she made after about the news media spinning it, she knew it was stupid to say it but she still did. ***** moron.
- nobody7, on 10/05/2008, -3/+52She says: "I'm reading on my Starbucks mocha cup, ok? The quote of the day... It was Madeleine Albright, former Secretary of State [crowd boos] and UN ambassador. ... Now she said it, I didn't. She said, 'There's a place in Hell reserved for women who don't support other women.'"
Actually, Albright didn't say that. The real quote is, "There's a place in Hell reserved for women who don't help other women."
Video and information from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ncnnZDbMfRo - DaLukeMan, on 10/05/2008, -9/+58Worked for Jesus.
- buddhika86, on 10/05/2008, -6/+54What an ingenious thought. So according to that logic every man should support Hitler ?
- rudanja, on 10/05/2008, -7/+55As a woman, after that misquoted statement, I hope to see her in hell!
- garblefung, on 10/05/2008, -9/+55From Merriam Webster.
LAUGHABLE: of a kind to provoke laughter or sometimes derision : amusingly ridiculous
PATHETIC: pitifully inferior or inadequate
You should stop making comments on Digg, you just reinforce the notion that some conservatives are delusional. You're actually hurting your cause. - ThsGuyRightHere, on 10/05/2008, -3/+49The word "support" as it relates to politics has a much different connotation than the word "help". Would you describe yourself as a McCain supporter or a McCain helper?
- AlbionEikon, on 10/05/2008, -2/+47Okay, NOW we know the answer to Katie Couric's question asking her what her news sources are... disposable coffee cups. Why am I not surprised??
- dafragsta, on 10/05/2008, -2/+46"IMMA READIN' MY STARBUCKS CUP!"
- wolftress, on 10/05/2008, -6/+50So now I have to support her simply because I have a vagina and she (I think) has a vagina?
Um.. How about no? - Adamande, on 10/05/2008, -6/+49I'm so sick of the religious nuttery. She's no better than Islamic fundies, threatening potential voters with imaginary doom and gloom. That woman should seriously be put on some kind of medication and removed from the public view. The US needs someone with an actual brain to run their country. If this woman reflects on Americans in general, that nation is beyond help.
- Kossu, on 10/05/2008, -3/+46She is too stupid to even correctly quote what someone else had said.
