eia.doe.gov — A 2004 Energy Information Administration (EIA) report about opening Alaska's ANWR to oil drilling shows that it would only reduce oil prices by $0.41-$1.44 per barrel in 2027, which would reduce gas prices by only 3-5 cents per gallon & that would take 20 years to achieve.
