  • Politiki, on 10/09/2008, -0/+0Also worth noting, for Virginia residents like me, Democrat Mark Warner is flat out CRUSHING Republican Jim Gilmore in the race for the Senate seat of retiring Republican John Warner (no relation). Warner leads Gilmore by 27 percentage points in the polls. Okay, so we already knew this. But what struck me is that Warner is getting 26% of the Republican vote. Let me repeat that . . . 26% of Republican voters are crossing over and voting for the Democratic candidate for Senate!
