- JoshDuffMan, on 09/25/2008, -1/+53I'm tired of choosing between big government and more big government.
- Ebacherville, on 09/25/2008, -1/+53this is needed.. there are a lot moree than two choices and barely any one knows that.
- PaulSupporter, on 09/25/2008, -1/+43Vote for a Third party candidate! No more Republicrats!
- krynnotaur, on 09/25/2008, -1/+37Choosing the lesser of two evils is like deciding to use a smaller caliber bullet to shoot yourself.
- voicce, on 09/26/2008, -0/+25Obama and McCain know nothing of economics, they both are ready to hand totalitarian control of the economy over to Paulsen who is one of the main architects of the current crisis. And both are ready to continue lots of spending on wars and big government programs until we are totally bankrupt and sold off piecemeal to the countries that haven't ruined their monetary systems. We need choices! The debates are meaningless if only Obama McCain are in them giving no real choices whatever.
- tajitj, on 09/26/2008, -0/+23Barr, Nader, Baldwin and McKinney supporters unite to pledge and promote this idea. The internet has many more millions than the MSM can count on with old media. Why not get on a stage and tell America where they can watch a real debate.

- bucfish, on 09/26/2008, -0/+23Third Parties bring up the real issues, instead of the LipstickGates and such nonsense. I hope just one of them gets in the debates as the Repubocrats suck!!!
- itsmesunny, on 09/26/2008, -1/+24absolutely and the prescription from the best doctor i know - dr. ron paul!
vote for liberty - vote for the end of the stranglehold of the duopoly!!!
i'm voting for chuck baldwin! - eharvey03, on 09/25/2008, -1/+22More debate can only be a good thing.
- FlashX12, on 09/26/2008, -1/+20I don't know how anyone could NOT support a Third candidates right to debate.
- McLieberman, on 09/26/2008, -0/+16It's time for the 2 party; DIctating, Totalitarian, Kleptocracy to end between this RIGGED government game.
We are being screwed by the Democrats and Republicans who serve their corporate puppet masters and elitists well.
They have destroyed the middle class.
It's time to take our country back from these Tyrants and their 40 IQ pandering! - avataros, on 09/25/2008, -1/+15A great idea about the debates. Obama should invite Nader and Barr to the debate tomorrow. It'd forever damage the Republican brand.
- inactive, on 09/25/2008, -3/+16To arms America!!!
- FritzKatz, on 09/26/2008, -4/+15I'm voting Bob Barr -- he's on the ballot in 46 to 49 of the states:
http://campaign.blog.bobbarr2008.com/2008/09/25/a- ...
(Texas just said no! -- only two parties allowed there.)
Baldwin is on the ballot in only 36 states:

VOTE 3RD PARTY !!!!! - R3VOLV3R, on 09/25/2008, -2/+12What do they mean by "or we will!" ? What incentive do they have to open the debates, short of actual force? I hate to be one of the first to say it, but this won't be resolved peacefully. I wish it could, but they've declared war - The Elite vs. The People.
- WWFP, on 09/26/2008, -0/+9In 1988 -
"The League of Women Voters is withdrawing sponsorship of the presidential debates ... because the demands of the two campaign organizations would perpetrate a fraud on the American voter. It has become clear to us that the candidates' organizations aim to add debates to their list of campaign-trail charades devoid of substance, spontaneity and answers to tough questions. The League has no intention of becoming an accessory to the hoodwinking of the American public."
The debates are now run by the Republican and Democratic parties with taxpayer money. They're TV commercials, nothing more. The American people need and deserve real debates. - PanamaJohn, on 09/26/2008, -0/+9Debategate

- tracywood, on 09/26/2008, -2/+7Barr? Oh, that ***** that tried to steal Ron Paul's votes and then insults the f out of him? Chuck Badwin is already polling higher! Barr blew it.
- tracywood, on 09/26/2008, -0/+5Force? This is America. The country that fluoridates its water supply because it causes apathy under the guise of caring about a singe tooth enamel problem. The people are lulled to sleep by this toxic chemical. Unless and until people stop medicating themselves at the water tap, nothing will ever happen here.
- tracywood, on 09/26/2008, -1/+6Yay, an ex CIA agent, just the person to protect our privacy! Not!!!
VOTE BALDWIN! - JoeyCee, on 09/26/2008, -0/+53rd party?...that would be true if there were 2 other parties....they are siamese twins....3rd party candidates are #1!
- PAFreedom, on 09/26/2008, -0/+5I would love to see Dr. Chuck Baldwin talk about issues of real importance.
- tajitj, on 09/26/2008, -0/+5Thye are going around them and wanting host a debate ourselves online available to millions.
- Acrinimiril, on 09/26/2008, -0/+4
...over, and over again! - MadMushroom, on 09/26/2008, -0/+4If all nationwide candidates were included in 3-4 televised debates, I'd bet third parties would pull at least 25% of the vote. This is exactly why the rigged FDC won't allow them.
- chessmasterjoe, on 09/27/2008, -0/+3I vote Ron Paul as moderator.
- Striker101, on 09/26/2008, -0/+3too bad there are no candidates I could bother voting for
- Acrinimiril, on 09/26/2008, -0/+3Barr has shown through his actioins that his purpose is infiltrating third party dissent and capturing the votes of dissatisfied Republicans, rather than risking them going to Obama.
That is what neo-conservative, Patriot Act voting, ex-CIA Barr's actual mission is.
Be deceived no longer!
As a result, Ron Paul said he would no longer remain neutral, and endorsed Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party - freedom2007, on 09/26/2008, -0/+3Barr is controlled, voted for the Patriot act, skipped the 3rd party unity announcement. He is not going to win either, but we need to unite under someone who has real principles.
- corry20, on 09/27/2008, -0/+3Two Party system doesn't work lets change it. Open debates now
- Tbyrd073, on 09/26/2008, -0/+3Also FritzKatz, Barr is on the ticket in Texas. The reason there was a lawsuit is because the Democrats and Republicans did not register Obama and McCain properly before the registration deadline in Texas. They were trying to get Texas Supreme Court to uphold their laws and not allow McCain and Obama on the ticket because of this. They didn't hold the major parties to the same standards they do 3rd party candidates and it shows the current favoritism in the system.
- Acrinimiril, on 09/26/2008, -1/+3That was just a sham to make Barr look good for a moment -- to make Barr appear to be fighting the corruption.
When, instead, Barr is really infiltrating third party dissent, capturing the votes of dissatisfied Republicans, rather than risking them going to Obama.
That is what neo-conservative, Patriot Act voting, ex-CIA Barr's actual mission is.
Be deceived no longer! - Moonrider, on 09/27/2008, -0/+2Here's a great example of the pot calling the kettle black:
McCain has admitted he does not understand economics (and has said more than once that he doesn't even care about the economy, that does not endear him to those of us who have to live in the economy), Now he has an ad on TV that points up the fact that Obama knows nothing about the economy and Obama is, therefore, "not ready to lead". Vote against both of them! Do the write-in thing, even if your write-in is merely NOTA (none of the above). - FritzKatz, on 09/26/2008, -0/+2Barr does have "real principles":
---------
He voted for the first Patriot Act, but only after his amendments adding "sunset clauses" were added to the final bill. Barr played a similar role during the debate over Bill Clinton's Comprehensive Anti-terrorism Act of 1995, crafting pro-civil liberties amendments to the original text. He now publicly regrets his Patriot Act vote

http://www.reason.com/news/show/28960.html - FritzKatz, on 09/26/2008, -0/+2Barr dissed Paul by not showing up for the "3rd Party" press conference -- Barr has nothing to do with McKinney and Nader. They are socialists -- and want to take peoples rights away, Barr is a Libertarian and wants to restore our rights.
As a result, Ron Paul said he would no longer remain neutral, and endorsed Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party.
Baldwin wants to "Christianize our country, and humbly return to the God of our fathers!" (in his own words). As a libertarian I think Christianity is fine -- as long as accepting Christ is a personal decision and not one mandated by the govt. - Striker101, on 09/26/2008, -0/+1both of them have blown it, sorry
- unownednews, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1...not to mention theres no way obama and mccain would play if he was the moderator. and i really wanna see the two of them agree to be on this debate.
- FritzKatz, on 09/26/2008, -0/+1I stand corrected -- thanks Tburd073
- Acrinimiril, on 09/26/2008, -0/+1As a result, Ron Paul said he would no longer remain neutral, and endorsed Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party.
- unownednews, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1hell yeah Ron Paul moderator! That'd be *****' sweet. I don't think he'd do it though, doesn't sound like his thang.
- l1b3rtar1an, on 10/13/2008, -0/+0The debate will be held Sunday, Oct. 19, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm EST. Please read:
