- cubajournal, on 12/08/2007, -10/+146Plenty of crimes and misdemeanors to remove Bush and Chenney from the White House.
- mrfreeziexp, on 12/08/2007, -6/+113Note: he calls him "Mr. Bush" and not "President Bush." Thought that that was pretty interesting and certainly shows what Olbermann thinks about him.
- LucidOne, on 12/08/2007, -21/+94No, O'Rielly is a liar and Olbermann tells the truth! You right-wing nuts don't know the difference but the rest of us do!
- nihilite, on 12/08/2007, -5/+69Olbermann is so damn good. I have never really watched him in the past, but I am now a fan. Why is he the ONLY one willing to be break down the facts about the situation?!?
- inactive, on 12/08/2007, -5/+61Excellent job parsing Bush's statements. It's pretty clear that something big happened in August.
- rebelphoenix, on 12/08/2007, -4/+56Olberman is adressing him as I would adress him. He is not my president, and as far as I'm concerned needs to stay the hell out of Texas. He wasn't born there, so that fake Texan crap just ain't gonna cut it.
- Adamande, on 12/08/2007, -0/+43I'd say you're wrong. In Norwegian journalism, we have a saying "kick up, never kick down", which means it's considered ok to attack the powerful but the weak should be protected. And that's the difference between O'Reilly and Olbermann. Olbermann has repeatedly been attacking the powerful. The same thing can't be said about O'Reilly. He's frequently had ordinary people on his show, to rip them apart in the meanest fashion. Like war-opponent Jeremy Glick, who lost his father on 9/11. O'Reilly is kicking down. He's attacking the weak. Olbermann on the other hand, keeps an eye on power and does the job the media should be doing.
- imofirey, on 12/08/2007, -7/+47Woah. thats really scary
- LetsGoHokies, on 12/08/2007, -13/+53Isn't it "bold faced liar"?
- nihilite, on 12/08/2007, -2/+37and a third grade education
- inactive, on 12/08/2007, -12/+47You right wingers just keep trying to convince yourself of that.
You manage to convince yourself that you aren't evil for supporting corruption, scandal, and warmongering, so you can probably even convince yourselves that Billy isn't a right wing *****. - knaab, on 12/08/2007, -3/+37No matter whether you think this video is acted or scripted it is sad to say that it is true fact that George W Bush has continued to lie about every aspect of every military campaign to date since his election. This President and his Texas swagger have ruined the international public opinion of our beloved country and has given the impression that all Americans want is to rule the world. Lets see, who else in history attempted to but actually succeeded in making his people believe he was doing the right thing? Oh yeah, that would be Adolf Hitler. No matter what a President or ruling figure in a government wants to achieve, it is our job as a society to analyze the facts (granted its hard to find them of late) and make an opinion for ourselves whether a leader is right or wrong or just plain deceptive and take the proper actions necessary to prevent that person or position from making that same mistake again.
- siszam, on 12/08/2007, -4/+37I noticed yeas ago that the local news and many shows do the same thing. Thankfully, I'm not the only one who thinks a mass murderer does not deserve respect.
- adoggz, on 12/08/2007, -4/+36because parters in crime don't betray each other.
- CanadianGuy, on 12/08/2007, -7/+38Why is this even news, Bush has made a career of lying.
- EvanVolm, on 12/08/2007, -4/+32Well thank god his face isn't hairy.....
- whorelock, on 12/08/2007, -5/+33Bush is in desperate need of a beard.
- mrASSMAN, on 12/08/2007, -3/+30"bald-faced liar" is the correct terminology.
Bald does not just refer to lack of hair.
Some definitions:
1 a : lacking a natural or usual covering
2 : UNADORNED
3 : UNDISGUISED
Thus, a bald-faced liar is one who does not hide his/her lie. Rather than trying to disguise the lie as something true, the lie is bald (unhidden). - Rodalli, on 12/08/2007, -2/+29Wow, talk about an ass-reaming for Georgie Porgie. That was awesome.
- badjokes, on 12/08/2007, -5/+27OLBERMAN FTW!
- nihilite, on 12/08/2007, -2/+23true, but i happen to think olbermann is on the right here, so i'm digging this up. any time someone with access to MSM actually has the balls to break out a segment this aggressive you have to salute them. oreilly essentially risks little because he is constantly an apologist for the administration (with rare but notable exceptions).
- Autofac, on 12/08/2007, -1/+22It is with regret that I must inform everyone that allegedly (this came as a shock to me) "Bald-faced" is correct, and actually an older term than "Bold-Faced" which makes far more sense.
I even had a really good joked lined up to use, thanks Merriam-Webster, ass. - SuperMoses, on 12/08/2007, -2/+22The problem isn't Bush. You expect those idiots to try and sell a war on Iran. The problem is the media's complicity. You'd think they would have learned after the Iraq WMD claims.
http://www.fair.org/index.php?page=2681 - hmunkey, on 12/08/2007, -1/+20We have to assume it's the truth seeing as Bush has lied to the American public several times before, even getting us into a previous war.
- TheReport, on 12/08/2007, -2/+21Yeah unlike Bill OReilly he calls people out for their stupidity no matter what side of the aisle they stand on, Of course no one at Fox News got that memo instead they got the "only attack liberal Stupidity memo"
- hoovcluck, on 12/08/2007, -0/+18Because the democrats are spineless ***** cowards.
- DigitAl56K, on 12/08/2007, -1/+18O'Riley and Olbermann: Both make the Bush administration look like an ass. Only one intends to :)
- inactive, on 12/08/2007, -5/+22Then why haven't they been removed?
- inactive, on 12/08/2007, -4/+20This ***** is not left or right fool .........it's about truth!
- grakker, on 12/08/2007, -2/+17Bias? Not sure. He was pretty damn harsh on Clinton as well.
- mnmleon, on 12/08/2007, -1/+16i'm in australia, and i just don't understand how bush is still around, i can't get over that.
- weloveronpaul, on 12/08/2007, -1/+15I used to watch O'Riley all the time, but he is clearly a bully mouthpiece type for the Bushies and their ***** policies, both domestic and foriegn. Rupert Murdoch (owner of Fox News) is a CFR member like Cheney. You can't tell me that Rupert doesn't shape the position of Fox News. Its all propaganda. Screw Fox News!
- GuacamoleSan, on 12/08/2007, -2/+16You guys just recently removed your dictator, we're just a bit slower.
- corruptionteam, on 12/08/2007, -7/+21Great video but people will never believe it until they see it on CNN or Faux news. That my friends is the real problem.
- jmk4422, on 12/08/2007, -3/+16Saying that you listen to O'Reily to get the other "side of the debate" is like saying you read the Bible to get an alternate view of science. Scary thing is, I know that some people do. But "critical thinkers" should get their viewpoints from factual sources. O'Reily is not a factual source for anything politcal anymore than the Bible is a factual source for anything scientific.
- steveoco, on 12/08/2007, -10/+23I learn what is going on in America by listening to O'Riley and Olbermann. (critical thinkers need both sides of the debate)
And I conclude that, that is one ***** up government. - Jmuduke, on 12/08/2007, -1/+13I wonder if Keith needs a wheelbarrow to carry his balls. Can we PLEASE impeach Bush now? How many times does he need to be caught lying before the dumb ***** in congress do something?
- diggduggjoe, on 12/08/2007, -1/+13My guess he must have something really good for protection. Otherwise, we would have heard of Keith's horrible accident by now.
- shmatt, on 12/08/2007, -1/+12I gotta say, none of you who voted for our ***** president have ANY business calling anyone else stupid. You guys take the stupidity cake.
- goffy59, on 12/08/2007, -1/+12I don't really watch either, but Bill is the biggest ***** moron I've ever heard. You can't compare intelligence to ignorance.
edit: oh and block. - nihilite, on 12/08/2007, -2/+12buried for use of "breaking"
- withears, on 12/08/2007, -5/+15Mr. shows too much respect. How about "boy"?
- Derrekito, on 12/08/2007, -2/+11"An unapologetic warmonger."
He took the words right out of my mouth. - ophello, on 12/08/2007, -3/+12talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish.
- dieselstation, on 12/08/2007, -1/+10like people watching a show is more important than a president that lies to his country. O_o
- gthrank, on 12/08/2007, -3/+12Bush? A liar? Say it isn't so!
- voteforblank, on 12/08/2007, -2/+11A: No one has the Intestinal Fortitude!
- xsidekick409, on 12/08/2007, -2/+11This clip must be seen if you care at all about America and her troops.
- shmatt, on 12/08/2007, -1/+10Jesus Christ. It's BALD-FACED. you're thinking of bold-face text. "Bold-faced liar" makes no sense
- Yang1205, on 12/08/2007, -1/+10I would assume its the truth because the source of the quotes was whitehouse.gov
