Officials say Guam recount is imminent
pacificnewscenter.com — UPDATE: Unofficial results show Obama may have won by only 7 votes. Note: these are unofficial, uncertified results as tabulated by the Democratic Party of Guam. The DPG also noted a high number of spoiled ballots in Dededo.

- hillary4change, on 05/04/2008, -2/+9This is the usual obama trickery at work here! This is not any different then alot of the other caucus victories that obama has "won"
Welcome to democracy!! - Pondering, on 05/04/2008, -1/+6Good in a Democracy every vote should count. No dirty tricks.
- hillaryforum, on 05/04/2008, -2/+7Mmm..more foul play in the caucuses! Add Guam to the long list of corrupt caucuses to date! Say no more...
- susiewat, on 05/04/2008, -1/+8Surprise! Surprise! Surprise! Another caucus rigged! I just love this new kind of politics!
- AxmxZ, on 05/04/2008, -0/+5How odd. Obama was leading by four percent, then Dededo voted 61% in favor of Clinton, and the vote ended with Obama leading by 7 votes. Then we learn that several hundred ballots turned out to have been spoiled, and about half of the ballots issued went altogether missing!
Something smells fishy about this. - endodoc79, on 05/04/2008, -1/+6 Doesn't this sound a lot like Florida 2000, then we had hanging chads, now "spoiled ballots" and missing ballots that "fell off the truck". There have been irregularities in the caucus system throughout this primary season- and they all seemed to favor Obama- with a MSM rushing to declare him the victor. The laws of probability suggest foul play.
- cajuncocoa, on 05/04/2008, -1/+7If this is the "new" politics of Obama, I'll pass on the change. As bad as things are, sounds like an Obama regime would be much, much worse.
- catchyoulater, on 05/04/2008, -0/+6LOL, I'd look under a certain very crowded bus these days for those missing ballots! Caucuses should finally be laid to rest; they serve no purpose but to rig elections, cause confusion and dismiss the primary votes of more people than go to caucuses. The Democrats are so woefully behind the times. Get with the Republican plan: winner take all. Problem solved.
- jmal123, on 05/04/2008, -0/+7Another caucus with Obama sabatage....
- CognitiveDis, on 05/04/2008, -0/+6Caucus sabotage and dead people voting in primaries. Corrupt Daley machine Chicago politics at work here.
- NobamaMama, on 05/04/2008, -1/+3Obama is not qualified to be president.
- puppydogmom, on 05/04/2008, -0/+3I'm not surprised by anything in politics anymore. Sounds like something someone learned in Chicago. Good for them for re-counting. Now how about the investigation?
- leontes, on 05/04/2008, -0/+2Hells yeah, a recount is called for. Anything that's less than a five % win: just go through the ballets just to be sure. It should have happened in Florida in 2000 and it should happen now.
- MSBLUEGRASS, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1Well, Well, Well. Over 500 invalid "spoiled ballots" and 8,100 printed, but only 4,500 ballots used? CNN "calls it for Obama," but Herbie Perez won't certify results for at least 3 days. At present, Obama supposedly got seven more votes than Clinton---let's see with a margin of error.... Hummmmm...will irregularities never end!
- Cooney8, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1Sounds like Obamabots were hard at work in rigging a caucus!
- Hya999, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1Another reason to only have primaries. After all, isn't this America - the land of the free and the one vote for one person. As Hillary said in her town hall with George Stephanopolous yesterday. There are millions of votes in primaries and only thousands in caucuses. Very telling as Hillary won the primaries and BO the caucuses.
Again Caucuses do not count all the people, only the few able to attend, and fight in some instances to have their voice heard. Primaries count each and every vote from each and every person.
Also nobody has mentioned the armed forces overseas fighting for us in Iraq and elsewhere? They can't congregate for hours in caucus nor can the infirm or those working shifts or those at home caring for children and invalids - they can't wait for hours in cold and intemperate weather amidst gangs of thugs shutting them out and worse in some instances this election round.
