- vvvvvvv, on 10/30/2008, -10/+376Where did the money come from to pay for this? From people like me who gave less than $100
- samimnot, on 10/30/2008, -13/+218@vvvvvvv
And it's the best money you've ever spent. Another 4 more years of Bush/McCain and nobody in the middle class would be able to donate to their candidate ;-) - jollybee34, on 10/31/2008, -7/+179was gonna vote mccain but now will vote for Obama
- richw, on 10/31/2008, -12/+175I feel better about Obama spending $100,000 a minute on commercials like this than Palin spending $150,000 on her appearance.

- hehdot, on 10/31/2008, -3/+42Anyone else worried he might actually not "win" next week? Or have I just become too paranoid about politics the last 8 years.
- cantignie, on 10/30/2008, -6/+45It definitely had an impact on me, but I was already going to vote for him. The point though, is that it also had an impact on undecided voters, voters who were previously considering voting for McCain. This event will go down in political history.
- financedude2, on 10/31/2008, -1/+394,600 well spent.
- homercles337, on 10/31/2008, -3/+38And people like me that gave $50 a few times.
- ironhide, on 10/30/2008, -1/+35So, what media outlets does your majesty deem acceptable?
- MadMax3000, on 10/31/2008, -4/+37What really amazed me was the fact that they switched from the pre-recorded ad to the live rally in florida. It was so smooth you wouldn't know what happen, until he said "6 days". And I was like, "6 days is today". At one point I was confused and was wondering if it was an event earlier that day.
Congrats to Obama camp. - Blackham, on 10/31/2008, -3/+31Does the reply button not work anymore?
- phrenzy, on 10/31/2008, -3/+31I won't be satisfied until the Republicans are crushed into powder and flushed into the toilet of history. It is coming my regressive Republican friends. It is coming.
You have a lot to answer for. - charm803, on 10/31/2008, -3/+31One man can, if he has an army like us!
- browwiw, on 10/31/2008, -4/+32They gotta go with what they are good at.
- spyders, on 10/31/2008, -0/+27@ Charlotte_Web : does that only work for Obama, or does it work for McCain as well?
- niradg, on 10/31/2008, -3/+30Do you actually realize how retarded you sound? You're the worst Republican stereotype evar.
- ironhide, on 10/31/2008, -0/+25Panned where? MichelleMalkin.com? LGF? FreeRepublic? FOX News? Talk about cultists.
- Dohko_Xar, on 10/31/2008, -0/+24He is not complaining
- Codename, on 10/31/2008, -8/+31Obama 08!
- VaporBro, on 10/31/2008, -2/+25"in" should be capitalized. Unnecessary comma, placement. correctlys = failure
- youliveinfear, on 10/30/2008, -2/+25lol. How dare America be biased against sanford's opinions.

- chourobin, on 10/31/2008, -0/+19why dugg down, this is true... first time a democrat has a funding advantage over republicans.
- twiztidsinz, on 10/31/2008, -1/+20You know, if you rearrange the letters in your name you get "Aswiper"?
- LemonHerb, on 10/30/2008, -0/+17His failure to take part in the rampant fascism that defines the republican party makes him Un-American.
- XcentryK, on 10/31/2008, -3/+21As an European who cares about prosperity worldwide, all I ask from you is this:
DON'T MESS THIS UP, AMERICA.
Vote for Obama since I can't do it myself =(. - twiztidsinz, on 10/31/2008, -1/+18$2300 in Primary + $2300 in General?
- system5y, on 10/31/2008, -2/+19is that a social digg experiment?
- kingmanic, on 10/31/2008, -7/+23I'd give him money but I'm a Canadian and he'd have to turn it down. He's the best pick out of the two who could win.
- Rixar13, on 10/31/2008, -3/+19I gained a sense of Pride and Hope again... We will rise to the occasion as one nation to over come the hole this last President has dugg for us. Obama Biden in 4 days.
- rz8472, on 10/31/2008, -3/+19Lets hope that some of those 36 million people watching were undecided voters. I thought that the most powerful scene was the one where that elderly African-American man was forced to go back to work as a Wal-Mart greeter to cover his wife's prescription drugs - especially given Wal-Mart's poor labor record, that was especially touching.
However, I would have preferred that Obama buy 30 minute airtime blocks on one channel every day for several days, each day covering a different issue important to Americans like Ross Perot did in 1992. However, I think we've learned from McCain's squirming during the debates that image is important, especially to the multitudes of "low-information" voters out there, so the Obama campaign is probably onto something that I missed.
Overall though, given the sheer volume of people watching, it was money well-spent and provided a stark contrast to McCain's fear-mongering and pushing of conspiracy theories. - oldgal, on 10/31/2008, -0/+15At least if it's an untraceable credit card, whoever donated it cannot expect anything in return because they can't be identified. It is the big donor checks from corporations, PACs and lobbyists who expect something in return that bother me.
