- cquinnd, on 11/04/2008, -0/+1Since wages have stagnated and the ***** have provided little incentive for companies to not outsource work or reduce their workforce to look better on quarterly reports without considering long term sustainability.
- nydalek85, on 11/04/2008, -0/+0Since when? Republicans have worked diligently to keep the Bush tax cuts (on EVERYONE!) from expiring. The higher the corporations are taxed, the more the so called "middle class" is broken.
- 1Nitro, on 11/03/2008, -3/+2One more reason NOT to vote for Obama. When will people wake up??? Obama is bad for America!
- nydalek85, on 11/04/2008, -1/+0I should report you for that one........
- allthebest, on 11/03/2008, -2/+1Dependence is NOT hope but servitude and despair. Not wanting what's yours stolen is not selfish but righteous. Obama? No thanks, keep that nasty change.
Envy, jealousy and bitterness are self-destructive and not hopeful. Wake up, America - Voltairefree, on 11/03/2008, -3/+2If he is elected and goes forward with such a plan it would bankrupt the middle class and the 40 % that he wants to put back on welfare will be breaking the governement to supply heat in the winter for them, this is much larger than it appears, trading greenhouse gas emissions will bankrupt your pocket book.
It is time to send this idiot back to the streets of chicago - Eire105, on 11/03/2008, -2/+0Speaking of which . . . what are YOU doing right now. Wait, don't tell us.
- Dorvillain, on 11/03/2008, -4/+1My dad has been very upset with me supporting Obama. I thought he was nuts, but it turns out he was right.
Obama lied to us when he said he was for clean coal. Many people may not understand why this is important, but in addition to making it impossible to build new coal fired plants he wants to tax 100% of the emissions from existing plants.
Why should this matter to you? Most of our electricity comes from coal, if he taxes the electric companies, they will pass the costs to us. We will all be rationing our power use. It should also matter because, this proves that Obama has not been honest during his campaign. Biden was telling the truth when he said that their ticket did not support coal power.
I feel betrayed by Obama, I also have a lot more respect for my dad. He's a smart man.
