- cg4et, on 07/31/2008, -32/+147I am so sad that McCain decided to go so negative so early in this race. I supported him in the 2000 primary against George Bush. It would have been nice if he had chosen to fight this campaign on the issues rather than engaging in ad hominem attacks.
- marytnurse, on 07/31/2008, -42/+109now that's an ad! just the facts, ma'am! problem is, mccain forgot to make sure they were TRUE facts first.

- xtox3, on 07/31/2008, -34/+75This title isn't biased or opinionated at all...
- Brownds, on 07/31/2008, -9/+48McCain must be retarded because a smart man would just play HRC's comments from the debates over and over again. Then just add "I approve this message at the end. Hell HRC produced all McCain’s campaign ads.
- gail40, on 07/31/2008, -35/+73This ad is great! John McCain should be ashamed of himself. Barack still continues to represent his campaign well and with class.
- frostbyt, on 07/31/2008, -8/+38Just accept that McCain is going to lose in a landslide and Obama is going to be your next president.
We already have. - LemonChicken, on 07/31/2008, -0/+27First time here?
- CVL4317, on 07/31/2008, -19/+41it's sarcasm, right?
- dBass, on 07/31/2008, -6/+27Wow, the McSame diggbots are out in full force today!
- 1337H4x0rz, on 07/31/2008, -13/+33"It probably hurts McCain a bit. The president gets blamed for these things, not Congress, rightly or wrongly, and I think it gives probably a boost to Obama. But I hope it makes him rethink all these tax increases he's talking about, because that will absolutely kill us."
http://www.reuters.com/article/newsOne/idUSN314187 ... - zeusthemoose, on 07/31/2008, -2/+18The McTroll Patrol are out in force this week, gotta get those McBucks to earn a McLivin.
- quill, on 07/31/2008, -1/+15Things change? People learn new skills?
- AyaJulia, on 07/31/2008, -2/+16It's a good thing digg doesn't claim to be an unbiased source of news, then. :)
- WasabiBomb, on 07/31/2008, -1/+15You keep saying "higher taxes"- when you know it's a lie. McCain wants to increase taxes MORE for 99% of the population.
- wacomwacoff, on 07/31/2008, -0/+13Then his campaign is out of control and he's to blame.
- LordStandley, on 07/31/2008, -5/+18Nope, your digg profile shows clearly that you're already in McCain's camp. Every single article you have dugg is a McCain submission. You're not fooling anyone with bull ***** comments.
- yosserhughes, on 07/31/2008, -2/+15Stil $4.49 where I am, (S Cal). But that's just as it goes. When it gets to $10.00, then drops to $8.00 you'll be saying the same thing.
- bioprez, on 07/31/2008, -10/+22all McCain is doing when he attacks Obama is providing fuel for Obama's campaign to exploit how lousy McCain really is...expect to see more ads like this.
- robopuppy, on 07/31/2008, -8/+20What the *****? Like last week, everyone on Digg was in love with Obama. Now comments suggest they hate him?
Diggers flip-flop more than the Democrats! - alackofcolor, on 07/31/2008, -4/+16I believe the proof is in the citations from major news sources, and if you don't want to take those on faith, get off Digg and watch the news, or read a newspaper.
- homercles337, on 07/31/2008, -11/+23No proof? Man the McCain supporters have flooded this digg article. Do you fools really think that there is no proof? Obama's ad cited references. How about you follow up on those and edumakate yourself? ***** tools. I cant believe that *anyone* still supports McCain. Seriously, do all you idiots live in backwards fly-over states and only listen to Fauxaganda TV?
- Mr.Gone, on 07/31/2008, -23/+34John McCain doesn't care about black people!
- WasabiBomb, on 07/31/2008, -5/+15People have accused Obama of "going negative" for defending himself against McCain's attack ads. As far as I'm concerned, he's doing it the right way- gracefully defend yourself, don't let lies stand, but don't stoop to McCain's level.
- dxgg, on 07/31/2008, -5/+15I just love how the word "spam" has been twisted to mean whatever you want it to mean.
- fafnir314, on 07/31/2008, -1/+10"Asked repeatedly for the 'reports,' [McCain spokesman] Bounds provided three examples, none of which alleged that Obama had wanted to take members of the media to the hospital."

You're just repeating McCain's statements, which have been discredited for several days. - WasabiBomb, on 07/31/2008, -2/+11The two ads aren't even in the same league, and you know it.
- kd1s, on 07/31/2008, -0/+9Actuall consumption has gone DOWN since spring. We're using less gasoline. So the prices going down have to do with something else.
Maybe the fact that they're getting ready to close the Enron Loophole? - phogasmic, on 07/31/2008, -10/+19Ouch. Obama's ads are very effective.
- AyaJulia, on 07/31/2008, -0/+8Very nice. If only this was closer to the top of the page. Either way, thanks.
- Vic333, on 07/31/2008, -5/+13Must be your area. I never see Obama ads. I'm seeing McCain ads over and over and over.
- kgreen69er, on 07/31/2008, -1/+9Holy crap 6 cent drop thats only a dollar more than it cost last year!!! I gotta get to the pump!
- Zakhran, on 07/31/2008, -16/+23I am still wondering why the interview of Obama after his election to the senate isn't seen more. I beleive that he stated that he had no interest to run for President at the time and that his philosophy was to not apply for a job that he did not qualify for.....

There is more than you could probably handle. Stop pretending it's all rhetoric, because it's not. - DrVonNugent, on 07/31/2008, -0/+7See? You can support Obama WITHOUT a link to HuffPo spam!
- notthatnoise, on 07/31/2008, -2/+9personally i would much rather have somebody with little experience than somebody who has been working in washington for 300 years.
- KibblesnBitts, on 07/31/2008, -1/+8Why does everyone have to misspell Bologna? Didn't those Oscar Meyer commercials teach anybody?
- aaronadms, on 07/31/2008, -9/+16He's a "superstar" because a LOT of people agree with and support him, not the other way around.
- markmdillon, on 07/31/2008, -0/+7Senator Obama is just as much white as he is black. I don't understand why everyone continues to say he'll be the first black president.
Yeah… and he'll also be the 44th white president! It's pure stupidity to make an issue of it… - WasabiBomb, on 07/31/2008, -3/+10Here you go:

Feel free to do some research of your own. - dBass, on 07/31/2008, -1/+7Yea, that would be genius move. Look how well it worked out for HRC, inc.
McSame is heading down that same slimy road. Wonder where it will take him and his lapdogs. - fredmv, on 07/31/2008, -1/+7"McCain is right even if he isn't. " --Fox News
http://foxnews.com/itsmorelikelythanyouthink - kenedamick, on 07/31/2008, -2/+8Neo-con mouthpiece blabber.
- Refluence, on 07/31/2008, -15/+21Just when I thought people couldn't possibly become more unreal.
- SpinningHead, on 07/31/2008, -0/+6"Does you god Obama?" I have no idea what that means.
Obama is running to be the next president of the US. That makes him a bit more newsworthy than Britney.
If supporting Obama shows a low IQ, I cant imagine what is required to support 4 more years of the same policies that got us into our current mess. - AyaJulia, on 07/31/2008, -1/+7There's only so much you can do in a 15-30 second ad spot, man.
- notthatnoise, on 07/31/2008, -1/+7actually the last half of the add was a direct rebuttal. McCain said Obama wanted higher taxes, Barack pointed out his tax cut. McCain said Obama wanted foreign oil, Obama said he wants alternative energy, not off-shore drilling. maybe you should watch the add next time.
- Sumtin2Say, on 07/31/2008, -1/+7You diggers on the right are pathetic. My statement wasn't even an opinion. I ask for evidence and I'm dugg down! If the thought of backing up claims with evidence is offensive to you, you've basically told me all I need to know about your position and your whole way of thinking for that matter!
- diabloenfuego, on 07/31/2008, -0/+6It's not an attack. He's defending himself from an attack.
When somebody comes into the room and punches you in the face or calls your girlfriend a "terrorist fist-jabber" and a glamor-whore, what do you do?
Your knee-jerk reaction is to drive the guys face through a window, Obama resisted that and said "Hey, it's just not true, here's why, and here's what I stand for."
McCain would have simply said "Obama sucks sucks sucks, he's young, and doesn't know the issues." then you're left asking "Well, what are your opinions on the issues, Johnny?" yet you never get an answer, just more hateful messages. -
