- mycutepetpics, on 11/25/2008, -0/+1Let me think..... US hard working tax payers, like usual!!!
He will borrow it from the FED and we will pay ridiculous taxes on it. There are also rumors that the 2,500,000 jobs will be from his youth program molded from his Chicago Public Allies program. Which would really suck because we would have to pay the ridiculous interest from the loan from the fed, which is printed from thin air. Then we will also have to pay their wages, Health Care benefits & a $5,000 education award, for each employee. The only change I see for us, is some pennies left in our pockets. The good thing is,I the lint in my pocket won't be lonely anymore.
Barack Obama was a founding member of the board of Public Allies in 1992, resigning before his wife became executive director of the Chicago chapter of Public Allies in 1993. Obama plans to use the nonprofit group, which he features on his campaign Web site, as the model for a national service corps. He calls his Orwellian program, "Universal Voluntary Public Service."
The government now funds about half of Public Allies' expenses through Clinton's AmeriCorps. Obama wants to fully fund it and expand it into a national program that some see costing $500 billion. "We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded" as the military, he said. - onthetrail, on 11/24/2008, -0/+1indeed

We could legalize it and collect that tax revenue and put it into the infrastructure. We would also save a huge amount of tax dollars used to fund the prisons and drug enforcers by taking marijuana users out of the mix. With that money at our disposal, we could fix the health care system, turn our schools into educational hot beds, replace our aging utility grid, our roads, our railroads, And then if we stopped the war in Iraq....the sky's the limit!
