Obama raises $52 million in June - average donation $68.

obamesque.wordpress.com — Talk of voters growing less confident about Obama’s campaign message seems to have been premature. To the chagrin of pundits suggesting the bloom was off the rose for the Obama campaign, donors contributed $52 million in June. The combined coffers still reflect a GOP advantage, and Obama's 50-state strategy will need more funding than McCain.

    I hope he writes a book "How to Get People to Give you Money".

    But I love his defense of FISA the best, "At least I'm not McCain". Way to not defend your change of position. Hell, McCain 2000 isn't McCain 2008. That's nothing new. You don't get credit for not following Bush/McCain. That's what you're supposed to do. That's like rewarding people for not drunk driving.

    I just hope the ACLU and EFF are also getting a boom in funding as well, so they can mount a campaign to counter Congress' rollover.
