- GuacamoleSan, on 11/12/2007, -12/+339Um, if i may correct...Obama was the only one who didn't mock Hillary, he said "nice bride costume" at the end...
- vervalsing, on 11/09/2007, -11/+218My favorite part: "Love the witch costume!"
I think Obama handled that pretty well, even if the whole "I have nothing to hide" thing was a little cheesy for a SNL appearance. - bobrice830, on 11/12/2007, -24/+168That was rather painful to watch.
Then again, SNL hasn't been easy to watch for years now. - MacGuy88, on 11/12/2007, -12/+154Obama or Paul. Please please please please please
- ZeroIce, on 11/12/2007, -7/+119I agree... Really cheesy. I loved when Bill corrected Obama and said it was a witch costume. Classic.
- stox, on 11/12/2007, -7/+112Good to see a candidate with a sense of humor.
- Mothrog, on 11/08/2007, -5/+85"I have nothing to hide. I enjoy being myself."
He did mock her, and deservedly so.

- TyroPyro, on 11/06/2007, -3/+71Obama put it up on YouTube too, and it's getting quite a few views: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndQM0X5rhfE
Clinton as Mystery was pretty funny - monsterofNone, on 11/06/2007, -3/+70everytime any poitician makes a live appearence on SNL it's a little cheesy. this was better than most. obama wins the week.
- Charlotte_Web, on 11/12/2007, -0/+62No, they played it right. That would have been too cheap of a shot. Giving the punch line to Darrell Hammond was a lot funnier.
I was more disappointed that Brian Williams didn't get to do the fake news on Weekend Update. Now THAT was a missed opportunity... :-) - Disillusion, on 11/05/2007, -9/+66It is quite sad that speaking the truth is seen as lunacy these days.
- hmunkey, on 11/06/2007, -11/+63I love Obama!
- cybermort, on 11/05/2007, -4/+44even the fake bill clinton outshines the fake candidates along with the real one
- CZzyzx41, on 11/12/2007, -13/+52Exactly. Even when he says something right he's still chided for it. My wife and I were commenting on how sad it is that even in a TV sketch talking to a FAKE Hillary (You all do realize that wasn't her right?) he still has to be nice to her.
- sfpfc, on 11/05/2007, -7/+45I think john edwards has a funnier video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qggO5yY7RAo - bigtizzle, on 11/05/2007, -0/+32Samberg is gonna punch you in the face right as you're about to eat something.
- cliffhanger407, on 11/05/2007, -1/+33Lorne Michaels told me to bury you.
- wafflez, on 11/05/2007, -7/+37ALANG008, I bet you I could post tubgirl and still get more diggs than you.
http://www.tubgirl.com - zioxide, on 11/05/2007, -1/+26He's not really "leaning towards war". He said he would send special forces in to Pakistan to take out specific al-Qaeda targets with the permission of the Pakistani President.
- hmunkey, on 11/05/2007, -6/+31He was involved in the mockery.
- yanquiUXO, on 11/06/2007, -5/+30HEY EVERYONE LETS HATE JEWS IT'S THE COOL THING TO DO. JELLYVISIONARY REALLY IS A VISIONARY
- xswag, on 11/05/2007, -4/+27Skip that site. Direct Link.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndQM0X5rhfE - haiduz, on 11/09/2007, -0/+23He did not vote for the patriot act, see http://obama.senate.gov/speech/060216-floor_statem ... Saying "barack voted for the patriot act" is like saying "Ron Paul voted against the constitution" because both politicians were not in office when the vote took place.
I wish that SpamBots didnt leech the anti war vote from Obama. - caBoss, on 11/05/2007, -1/+21kudos to getting horatio sans back on the show
- Joe_rigby, on 11/05/2007, -0/+20Stop watching Faux News.
- haiduz, on 11/05/2007, -0/+19Yea thats totally *****. He didn't vote for the patriot act, he wasnt even in the senate when that vote took place.
"We all agreed that we needed legislation to make it harder for suspected terrorists to go undetected in this country. Americans everywhere wanted that.
But soon after the PATRIOT Act passed, a few years before I ever arrived in the Senate, I began hearing concerns from people of every background and political leaning that this law didn't just provide law enforcement the powers it needed to keep us safe, but powers it didn't need to invade our privacy without cause or suspicion. " - Barrack Obama http://obama.senate.gov/speech/060216-floor_statem ...
He is better than hillary tho', ill give you that. - Ridonkulus, on 11/05/2007, -1/+19Actually, I thought when Gore was on there a while ago it was hilarious.
- swr1ght, on 11/05/2007, -1/+17"It's all how you wear it."
- Mothrog, on 11/05/2007, -0/+16Oh my God, Cletus, Barak is a Muslim! We's best not vote him in fo' president. We bes' vote in the whitest man ever. I mean, jaysus, he's a Muslim and a *****! We's can't vote him in.
- theaceoffire, on 11/06/2007, -0/+15He tried to get Fox banned from news conferences?
That actually is a point in his favor, in my opinion. Only News organizations should go to those. - inactive, on 11/05/2007, -2/+16SNL?, FUNNY? 2007? DOES NOT COMPUTE.
- geoboy, on 11/05/2007, -12/+26It's not so much what he says but how he says it. Gravel comes off as an angry old man who has lost his marbles, and he acts like he has nothing left to lose. Yeah, the Gravel fanboys will disagree with me, but the man is quite frankly scary and, dare I say, dangerous. I say dangerous because he is clearly emotionally driven rather than logically driven.
I'm glad Gravel has been able to rattle some cages and point out hypocrisies, but honestly that's all the man is good for. He'd make a pretty lousy president if you ask me. - RobotBuddha, on 11/05/2007, -2/+15I don't know. It seemed to be getting better shortly after the lonley island guys starting doing digital shorts. The current season though, we already gave up on it. Shockingly bad, and the shorts can be had from nbc's site anyway.
- hmunkey, on 11/05/2007, -0/+13Dude, shut the ***** up. I hope some hacker is reading this and DDoS's your site.
- ByronT, on 11/12/2007, -38/+50Buried for making fun of Gravel.
- grrrrrrrrrrrrrr, on 11/05/2007, -4/+16Could have been funnier and a more authentic message from Obama if he hadn't been so woodenly and obviously reading from cue cards...nice zing tho
- Klak, on 11/06/2007, -1/+13do you know what ambiguous means?
- CBRoberts, on 11/07/2007, -11/+22Did he "mock" Hillary Clinton? I must have missed it. He was the only one in the skit who didn't misinterpret her costume.
Why does everything have to be cast as a cat fight? Is it the only way Americans can make sense out of human interactions? - Eleo, on 11/05/2007, -2/+13I'm not all that upset that they made fun of him, it's just that they reinforced the whole "crazy old guy" misconception as if in all this time he hasn't said or done anything worthwhile. They could have poked fun in a way that didn't just make him look like an idiot (which he is not).
- Hazardc, on 11/05/2007, -2/+13i think it has to do more with corruption, honesty and world view at this point than with the issues
while im a staunch ron paul supporter, i would support barack. i do not agree with either of them on all the issues, but either of them would be a great change in pace in my opinion
also, admit it or not, ron is a long shot. im not giving up until the bitter end on him, barack on the other hand is in 2nd place right now.
if RP doesnt get the nomination, i already know which party im voting for no matter who is nominated, and i do not want it to be hillary - logiksan, on 11/05/2007, -0/+10You must have also missed the series of replies 25 minutes before you posted this that explained it to the people who don't get the joke.
- an0nymous, on 11/06/2007, -0/+10Mockery in the second degree?
- Anubis2051, on 11/05/2007, -1/+11New York is NOT Hillary's home state, just because she shows up here and puts on a yankee cap, all of a sudden shes from NY? Illinois can have her back for all I care.
- onyxrev, on 11/05/2007, -4/+14The Gravel bit was weak. The actor didn't even pull off his mannerisms at all. And Obama was dry as hell.
- inactive, on 11/05/2007, -4/+14too bad Obama didnt say anything funny, Janet Reno was much better on SNL.
- haiduz, on 11/05/2007, -1/+10One more thing, I was checking out the obama site and the title of the newest press release is:
"Obama Introduces Resolution to Halt Rush to War with Iran" which refutes your other point. http://obama.senate.gov/press/071102-obama_introdu ...
PLZ fact check before you post BS - nathew, on 11/05/2007, -0/+9horatio sanz was made to play him. it's a shame he's not in the cast anymore, i used to love it when he would laugh in the middle of his sketches.
- yogione, on 11/05/2007, -3/+11Pretty funny. Earns Obama a few "coolness" points.
