Marxism, socialism, communism and this progressive nonsense is a cancer of mankind’s spirit. A few things the left has overlooked is that Freedom and Liberty simply cannot co-exist with socialism/communism/progressivism style government with a Marxist philosophy.
Under the American form of a Republic (which this nation is) each citizen’s rights are sovereign and each citizen holds the sovereignty of this Republic. In a socialist/communist system the “collective” holds the sovereignty of that nation and issues what rights the people are allowed to have. Our Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights spell out our inalienable rights, those rights we are born with and issued by a higher authority, be that God or Mother Nature or whatever.
If the majority (the collective) issue the rights you are allowed to have, don’t you think that the collective can take those rights away from you also? During the 20th Century we have witnessed one socialist or communist regime fail right after another, they don’t work and they will never work because they ignore what I call the X-Factor, that is the human spirit, the human drive, the human ability. You simply have to face reality, some people are just a little sharper and more ambitious that others and this junk about everybody having a equal amount of stuff is just pure crap. Do these liberals WANT to be slaves? Communism/socialism or any other form of collectivism is EVIL, it is slavery, and is the opposite of freedom. The only people it benefits is the elite minority who rule over their masses of slaves. Communism killed over 120,000,000 people. People living as slaves in communist countries risk their lives to escape and come to America for freedom.
Socialists like Obama would continue heading America down the path to slavery more than it already is, and continue the destruction of America. There will be nowhere left for people who desire freedom to escape to in the whole world after that. The entire world will become a prison planet.
If you want real CHAANNNNGE, vote for someone who is actually offering it, such as someone who would adhere to the Constitution for once! The top 3 candidates will only continue to trample the Constitution. Look at the nations of the world right now that have socialist societies and governments - their taxes adn health care costs are tremendously high; they contribute little to the improvement of the world or mankind (Canada, Finland, Sweden...) and NONE of them have the type of Constitutional republic that we have in this country.
You cannot own a firearm in any of those countries without the government's permission...why?? What does the socialist form of government fear from having their controlled masses owning firearms?

Also, people don't consider that it was only in 1700's America that the idea that men "are endowed by their Creator" with the inalienable rights now enshrined in our U.S. Constitution, Declaration of Independence, etc. Communism is Atheistic, so there is NO "Creator" and thus no inalienable rights - man in that construct is neither created equal, nor does he have any "God-given rights"!
