- poprocksandsoda, on 11/04/2008, -8/+89The best speech is yet to come tomorrow night when he wins and unites this country!
Go Barack!! - BrendanSheehan, on 11/03/2008, -5/+84Obama's best speech was the one on race months ago, and one of his next best was the one he did in the rain about 2 weeks ago.
- sephiroth965, on 11/03/2008, -3/+57Agreed. Obama's speech on race was really inspiring. John Stewart was right when he said it was the first time a politician talked to americans about race like adults.
- rrouse, on 11/03/2008, -5/+47Saw it on C-SPAN and it was a great speech. It will be nice have a good president for a change.
- nephrinn, on 11/04/2008, -1/+34The one he did in the rain in Virginia was amazing. Here is an excerpt from it:

One of the most awe-inspiring speeches I've ever heard. - geraldwhite, on 11/03/2008, -8/+30Its amazing to me that the repubs still think McCain is going to win this. I read all this crazy ***** about how its going to be a land slide for McCain. Meanwhile Obama is literally drawing crowds of 100,000 here, 60,000 there, 45,000 at this place, etc. What do they think, all these people are just their to cheer and not to vote?
- str1fe, on 11/04/2008, -0/+19Can we please have ONE political thread without invoking Godwin's Law? Just one?
- WibWobble, on 02/02/2009, -0/+17You wont be missed.
- Wryly, on 11/04/2008, -3/+19Barack's the change we need.
- WorldGroove, on 11/04/2008, -0/+16VOTE people, please don't get comfortable and chill at home with the It's-cool-Obama-got-this-on-lockdown mentality. Let the internet celebrate on Nov 5th, when it's a done deal.
*** VOTE *** VOTE *** VOTE *** VOTE *** - TheMachine1, on 11/04/2008, -1/+16How about posting an English translation of a Hitler speech transcript because I bet most clearly forecast WWII and the Holocaust. Obama' speeches forecasts things like people getting health care, energy independence, and peace.
- tvblogcan, on 11/04/2008, -3/+17I live in the UK, and yet I've never been as excited about a US election. The time for change is near, and I honestly think Barrack can bring around that change. This speech re-enforced that. Now if only the UK had a leadership change, all our choices are poor.
- darkciti2, on 11/04/2008, -3/+17His best speech, IMHO, was at the Democratic National Convention in 2004.
That was when I turned to my wife and said, "That guy is going to be the next President of the United States of America".
I think leadership can be sensed more than it can be heard. - djodorg, on 11/03/2008, -2/+15He represents your country as one, not as individuals.
- hmunkey, on 11/04/2008, -0/+13One finds her guilty, one clears. Doesn't really mean anything. Plus it's pretty convenient that a Republican committee cleared her a day before the election when another Republican committee found her guilty a few weeks ago.
- slothlovechunk, on 11/04/2008, -0/+13You're severely ignorant.
Obama is a Christian.
You don't know this because you are lazy, or willfully ignorant.
You probably want a good reason to justify your racism. - Alias1431, on 11/04/2008, -0/+13Barack Obama won't just be a better president. He makes me a better American.
Obama/Biden 2008
Obama/Biden 2012 - ElBeh, on 11/04/2008, -0/+12I agree. Here's an ad based on it if anyone is wondering: http://www.englandforobama.com/barack-obama-yes-do ...
- soccerman90, on 11/04/2008, -0/+12lol Palin is more socialist than obama
- rcolson9333, on 11/04/2008, -0/+11OMG, retards posting before me. (not christian, socialist, Hitler..Etc) Is that Karl Rove doing that? Is that you tubby? I miss you.
- rhogben, on 11/04/2008, -0/+10my guess is by your definition most christians are not christians
- ziptnf, on 11/04/2008, -0/+10I mean, what do you expect? They're still a major political party, it would be irresponsible to just give up. Don't get me wrong, I wish they would, but I would way rather beat them fair and square.
- kenposan, on 11/04/2008, -3/+13I was there, it was great. The energy at that rally was phenomenal. I was shocked when I heard there were 60K people there, but then again, I had to try to exit with all those people so I can believe it.
- internetcoward, on 11/04/2008, -2/+11So why am I reading a lot of comments like "man if these obama supporters knew what Obama was really about.." Or "Nobody knows his policies they just like the way he talks"? Is this why the right is losing so hard, they are over esitmating the stupidity of everyone thus making themselves look like the ultimate asses? Just don't assume Obama supporters know nothing of the candidtate that they work so hard to promote...
- calypsoschnitzl, on 11/04/2008, -1/+10Maximilen made terrible comments. He'll get lots of buries, will he?
- soccerman90, on 11/04/2008, -2/+10I never actually heard obama say it but im pretty sure he is anti-genocide.
- Sogladtobehere, on 11/03/2008, -5/+13Anyone have a link without Rickrolling me?
- turpenine, on 11/04/2008, -1/+8I was at this speech and I have to say it was REALLY AWESOME to be there. The state house was just swarmed by people and the energy was just epic. It wasn't his best speech as far as content goes but his diction and movement was great.
- WarnerK, on 11/04/2008, -0/+7That is so far-fetched it's comical. Maybe he was joking.
- DreadPirate, on 11/04/2008, -1/+8This, coming from a hypocrite who has nothing but hate for those who dare to disagree with him. Buried.
- Spo8, on 11/04/2008, -0/+7Another great one is his speech on the place of religion in politics.
- WafflesID, on 11/04/2008, -1/+8The problem is that some people don't think they have a choice. Religious beliefs can almost force you to vote one way or the other. I mean, you got the mormon religion basically saying that you can't really be a mormon and vote anything other than republican. There are people who were raised to feel a certain way towards black people or foreign people, etc.
I don't believe this race would have been anywhere this close (even if you believe the polls) if not for some of these deeply ingrained beliefs. - gaqua, on 11/04/2008, -3/+10I want to make you homeless when I outlaw stupidity.
- IllBeBack, on 11/04/2008, -1/+8The election's on Tuesday, kids. Obviously, akchrs was trying his/her best at a joke or sarcasm, and failed heinously.
- aussieNickuss, on 11/04/2008, -0/+7http://www.rove.com/election
- id000001, on 11/04/2008, -0/+6It's just one more day.
- Stavrosian, on 11/04/2008, -0/+6Don't buy in to divisive politics. Don't hate the people who vote against what you believe to be right - do everything you can to convince them to join you.
If you treat people like an enemy, then an enemy they will be. If you are frustrated that people are sticking by your opponents, then all the fighting talk does is ensure that they will continue to stick by that opponent until the bitter end - and your bitter actions may even convince others to join them. Be the bigger man, and be an adult about politics even if an opponent tries to drag it down to a schoolyard brawl. That's how you convince people to take your side over theirs. That's why Obama shakes off the self-defeating attacks. That's the way everybody needs to behave to start healing the rifts of the last few years and get us all back on track. - WorldGroove, on 11/04/2008, -1/+7"I will only vote for a Christian because a man with my beliefs will eventually think, act, and do whats right in the name of god."
1) Religion is *NOT* bad, but this kind of thinking here is preventing America from moving forward.
2) http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=McCain+admits ... - rz8472, on 11/04/2008, -0/+6Karl Rove just called the election for Obama - 338 EVs to 200 EVs.
- durruticolumn, on 09/18/2009, -1/+7
We do know he opposes death squads in Columbia, so I'd say it's a damn safe bet that he's anti-genocide. - IllBeBack, on 11/04/2008, -1/+7Some whiteys need killin'. Like the whiteys that planned to assassinate Obama.
- rhythm7a, on 11/04/2008, -0/+6You are incredibly ignorant. Do you even try to get facts somewhere other than Fox news or Rush Limbaugh?
- publiclurker, on 11/04/2008, -1/+7Somehow, I think if Hitler was running right now, you would be there goose-stepping higher than anyone maxim.
- tomarocco, on 11/04/2008, -0/+6That 40% doesn't matter. They are either with Obama or they are with the terrorists.
- stevedriskill, on 11/04/2008, -0/+5heres a homevid of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSXKg04hbrE
- gfxlonghorn, on 11/04/2008, -2/+7I honestly have no idea why this is getting voted up. The link doesn't work, and even in the cache of the link it doesn't even have the video of the speech... I am an Obama supporter, and I know this is mindless digging.
- dxgg, on 11/04/2008, -1/+6Go home, Sarah.
- rz8472, on 11/04/2008, -1/+6You just lost whatever argument you were intending to make, my friend.
- PhoenixAvatar2, on 11/04/2008, -0/+5Makes me happy to be a democrat on digg when I see people who deserve to be buried get buried, even if their comment was aimed at the republicans.
- zantos420, on 11/04/2008, -0/+5i cannot for the ******* life of me find the full video can someone please help me out?
