Obama doesn't commit to Belton appearance
statesman.com — WASHINGTON — Obama raised campaign money in Houston on Thursday but has not agreed to address Fort Hood soldiers alongside Sen. McCain. A military and veterans' groups consortium had hoped to host both candidates at Belton's Bell County Expo Center on August 11. They would discuss issues before an audience of troops, veterans and their families.
