  • DiggRational, on 08/21/2008, -0/+1I pay little attention to poll numbers - good or bad. Pollsters are glorified market researchers wanting to make a name for themselves, and the Democratic primaries showed how miserably they can fail.

    But one thing for sure, is that Obama's campaign is currently building a huge grassroots network to bolster registration. That takes time, but come election, it will make a dramatic impact. Plus, one thing Obama did so well during the primaries is to beat Clinton using strategy. I'm confident his team have the required strategy to get the electoral votes needed and have targeted the states, areas and districts which will make the most impact.
