- SheilaNoya, on 01/11/2009, -14/+31Phil Berg is going to keep pushing his false claims and debunked garbage as long as the gullible idiots who believe it keep sending him donations. He made a fortune from selling his 9/11 conspiracy theories, but that was getting old and worn out so now he has a NEW way to make money.
QUICK - send another $25 to his ObamaCrimes web site and he'll feed you some more lies!
Wake me if he ever finds a judge who will accept any of the debunked garbage he keeps unsuccessfully trying to present as "facts". - novenator, on 01/12/2009, -2/+17This ***** again?! You've got to be kidding me? Do right wingnuts have nothing better to do than beat the same, tired old war drum over and over?
- SheilaNoya, on 01/11/2009, -9/+24CORRECTION:
I just checked Phil Berg's web site. Of course, the first thing he does is ASK FOR MONEY, but now he's upped the minimum donation and is requesting $50 from each contributor.
I may start my OWN site for conspiracy nuts if it is this profitable! - SheilaNoya, on 01/12/2009, -1/+15A court will gladly take your case if you ever come up with some actual evidence, or a valid legal argument.
So far, all you nutters have done is repeat a bunch of debunked lies that keep getting your cases tossed out of state courts, federal courts, and even the Supreme Court. You can't even agree on which version of this "conspiracy theory" you believe.
Berg is making huge profits from the idiots who keep sending him donations. This is what he's famous for. Can you say "SUCKER"? - eir574, on 01/12/2009, -1/+15"Why is he running scared instead of addressing it?"
How do you know he's running scared? He could simply be ignoring it since there's absolutely nothing he can do that will satisfy you people. He posts his birth certificate, and people declare it to be fraudulent without ever laying eyes on the original document. Some people even added elements to the image to make it appear fraudulent.
Others conceded that he was born in Hawaii, but insisted that he lost his citizenship when his mother took him to Indonesia. To prove this, they insist that it would be absolutely impossible for someone who is not an Indonesian citizen to have attended schools in Indonesia . . . because Indonesia was so good at record keeping back then, right? Even if the people who support this theory are right, they're making the assumption that someone who was originally a natural born citizen can have that status surrendered on his behalf by another person. I'm not even sure that's true.
That argument didn't get people very far, so then people start saying that the constitution says that in order to be a natural born citizen, both your parents must be natural born citizens. Great argument, except that it's completely made up.
And, through this whole thing, people who doubted Obama's birth chose as their champion a guy who says that Bush and Cheney were personally involved in 9/11. Not a lot of credibility there.
How can Obama possibly satisfy this group of people when they're willing to just keeping making things up? - MadKennyP, on 01/11/2009, -5/+19Hahahaha!! The BIRTHERS just cannot accept that Barack Hussein Obama will be President of the United States in less that two weeks.
- SheilaNoya, on 01/12/2009, -2/+14What facts? What laws?
You conspiracy nuts have not come up with one single piece of credible evidence or even one valid legal argument against Obama.
Please show me just ONE government agency or court that agrees with any of your idiotic claims. I suppose all of those evangelical Christians in the Justice Department are part of the conspiracy to, along with the FBI, the Secret Service, every state court, every federal court, the Supreme Court, the CIA, Homeland Security, the Electoral College, the Republican Party, Fox News, Ron Paul, Karl Rove, etc, etc, etc.
NO ONE agrees with your nutty claims except a handful of anti-Obama blogs and some con artists who are making money from pushing this crap.
Stop being so gullible. - Coven, on 01/12/2009, -0/+12Does Statute 338 allow for said birth certificate to state that the foreign born child was born in honolulu, hawaii? you birthers never seem to answer that one.
- look4alec, on 01/12/2009, -1/+12This is some interesting stuff. It's always enlightening to get some insight into the mind of a cult movement scammer. It's also uncommon that one man is able to lead more than one "successful" cult of crazies. I know this will never end but hopefully his inauguration will quell this little movement.
- SheilaNoya, on 01/12/2009, -0/+10@squinky86... Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.
***Birth Certificate*** Hawaii will issue you a new birth certificate if you need one, but it will still state where you were actually born. They do NOT issue you a birth certificate that says you were born in Hawaii if you were born somewhere else. Obama's birth certificate clearly states that he was born in Hawaii and it has already been verified by several sources. His birth announcement from 1961 that appeared in the newspaper has also been verified.
***Divorce Papers*** There is nothing in his parent's divorce papers that says Obama was born in Kenya. There are different copies floating around on the internet with different dates, so I'm not even sure which version you're referring to, but the ones from 1980 mention his sister Maya because she was still a minor, so she had to be part of the courts custody agreement. Obama was 19 at the time, not a minor, so not even mentioned.
***Natural Born Citizen per the Constitution*** The Donofrio and Wortnowski cases have already tried to claim that Obama wasn't a "natural born citizen" using a so-called "Constitutional" argument. The Supreme Court dismissed both of their cases because they didn't have a valid legal argument. By the way - both of these cases admitted to the Supreme Court that Obama was born in Hawaii and that he has a valid birth certificate.
Their claim was that our founding fathers didn't "intend" to let someone with a foreign father be considered a "natural born citizen", even if his mother was a U.S. citizen and he was born on U.S. soil. The Supreme Court rejected that argument because it was not based on any law, or any part of the Constitution, just what they "thought" were the "intentions" of our founding fathers. It was wishful thinking on their part, at best.
They also tried to use a "Dual Citizenship" argument to the Supreme Court which was thrown out because it's irrelevent. We go by U.S. laws, not by British Common Law which also qualified Obama to be a British citizen at birth since his father was originally from Kenya (under British rule at the time).
They hasn't been a single legal argument or single piece of evidence against Obama that will hold up in any court of law. The conspiracy nuts have had dozens of lawsuits thrown out because NONE of them have any merit.
Surely, if even ONE of these absurd claims against Obama was true, then you shouldn't have any problems finding at least one government agency to agree with you. You can't even get Fox News or Karl Rove to buy into this conspiracy crap. THAT says a lot. - youliveinfear, on 01/12/2009, -0/+10squinky, cite the specific statute in 338 that allows for foreign born babies to receive certificate of birth certificate. Unfortunately for you, only adoption of foreign born babies is covered in 338-20.5. You might know this if you actually took the time to read through 338. I know it's easier just to repeat what the right wing websites tell you rather than google the information yourself.
You can start here and when you find it, let us know.

"I'm only saying that they cannot get a fair hearing due to gross prejudice."
This is the most sensible thing I've heard regarding the eligibility issue. I agree; reality is grossly prejudiced against the nutjobs who are foaming at the mouth for a birth certificate. Once you come to terms with that, everything else kinda makes sense. - raymondmarble, on 01/12/2009, -0/+9"And, those who say that he's provided definitive proof are lying."
No, 24AheadDotCom, but the site that you reference is lying.
For one thing, they claim that Hawaii allows those born outside of Hawaii to obtain Hawaii birth certificates, and therefore "Obama could have been born outside Hawaii and still have a valid Hawaiian birth certificate on file".
This is outright false. Though it is possible for one born outside of Hawaii to be issued a Hawaiian birth certificate, the place of birth on the certificate would be listed as the actual place of birth. Like Hamburg, Germany. Or Tokyo, Japan. Or Nairobi, Kenya.
As Obama's certificate clearly states that he was born in Honolulu, the website that you reference is lying. - ThsGuyRightHere, on 01/12/2009, -0/+9I think we can all agree that you couldn't spell the word socialist before 2007. Let it go dude.
- Coven, on 01/12/2009, -0/+9" The divorce decree of Obama's parents mentions that their child, "born in Kenya...""
Source please - ApokalypseNow, on 01/12/2009, -0/+9HRS §338-17.8 has a provision for providing birth certificates to children born out of state. STATE, not COUNTRY. For foreign-born persons, you need to refer to §338-20.5, which requires that you fill out the "(G) True or probable country of birth.", and there exists no provision for falsifying that information.
- Dimensio, on 01/13/2009, -0/+8"I don't understand why I keep getting dug down; it's a valid point that this needs to be sent to the Supreme Court for validation."
Please cite the specific Constitutional provision, federal statute or case law wherein this "need" is expressly stated, and explain why no previous United States President has been validated in such a fashion. - youliveinfear, on 01/12/2009, -0/+8just to beast squinky down even more, apokalypse, i'd like to mention also that 338-17.8 was drafted in 1982, which doesn't apply to Obama. Squinky, ignorance is not an admirable trait.
- Dimensio, on 01/13/2009, -1/+8"The director of health for Hawaii may use expedience in this matter and declare Honolulu as the place of birth on the certification, since a Hawaiian county may be required in the certification. The full law pertaining to the certificate:"

Of course, if you call them and ask if Obama was born there, they won't tell you for a couple of different reasons: they may not have the information at their fingertips, and because federal law prohibits giving out a person's medical information without that person's permission. There are no exceptions for cases where you really, really want to know or where the information is supposedly common knowledge.
- Dimensio, on 01/12/2009, -0/+7" The divorce decree of Obama's parents mentions that their child, "born in Kenya."
Please substantiate this assertion with a reference to the decree to which you refer. - ThsGuyRightHere, on 01/12/2009, -0/+7I don't think you understand just how much of a lunatic you sound like.
- Coven, on 01/12/2009, -1/+6What hospital was W born in? Where is his birth certificate? There was nothing on the first page of either google search.
- Coven, on 01/13/2009, -1/+6So, squinky, in other words the answer is "No".
- SheilaNoya, on 01/12/2009, -0/+5That DOES sound familiar.
It sounds exactly like the Republican party during the last 8 years. Are you sure Karl Rove didn't write that? - Maddoktor2, on 01/12/2009, -3/+6Excerpt from a report prepared by the United States Office of Strategic Services in describing Hitler's psychological profile:
"His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it."
Sound familiar? - squinky86, on 01/13/2009, -1/+1@Dimensio
Natural-born citizen clause.
Please note that "need" is my opinion, and is offset as my opinion. Maybe "should" would have been a better word. I just don't want a huge legal headache blocking Obama's actions as president. - squinky86, on 01/13/2009, -2/+1@Dimensio:
You clearly don't understand what an expedient is. If the law tells me that I have to go to the courthouse to update some records, I may use any of the following as an expedient to comply with the law:
*I may ride my bike
*I may drive to the courthouse
*I may walk to the courthouse
All of these are legal expedients to complying with the law. However, if the law says that I have to DRIVE to the courthouse, then the other expedients are taken away.
Likewise, if the certification was obtained when a place of birth was not explicitly known, and one was required, then it would be expedient to include the place of the director of health as the birth place.
@Coven:
The answer is "unknown." - squinky86, on 01/12/2009, -4/+1@Coven
I just looked it up. It doesn't say. The director of health for Hawaii may use expedience in this matter and declare Honolulu as the place of birth on the certification, since a Hawaiian county may be required in the certification. The full law pertaining to the certificate: http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/Vol06_Ch0 ...
The statute requiring the foreign place of birth to be named as the location of birth didn't go into effect until 1979: http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/Vol06_Ch0 ... - squinky86, on 01/12/2009, -5/+1Heh, I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but from my reading of it, it does. It says that it allows "Registration for birth in Hawaii", which would be at the location of the hospital the certification was obtained at (in this case, Honolulu). I may be wrong in my understanding of it, and hopefully am.
I'm just saying that it would be nice for the Supreme Court to validate the president-elect before he takes office to avoid any problems in the future.
Edit: "Birthers." I didn't know there was a name for it :). Good job trying to tie it to other conspiracy theorists. Again, I want to go on record as saying that I sincerely hope and think that Obama is constitutionally qualified. I just want to see it confirmed. - squinky86, on 01/12/2009, -5/+1@SheilaNoya
Thank you for your comments. I appreciate the research you have done on this; however, you are way off base on a few of your comments.
Birth certificate- you must ignore Statute 338 to make those conclusions.
Divorce decree- I looked it up and you are exactly right. Thank you for enlightening me.
As for your court cases, you are leaving out Lightfoot v. Bowen (http://supremecourtus.gov/docket/08a524.htm%29 which was approved by Chief Justice Roberts.
I'm just saying that there's something suspicious, and I would love to see the court validate President Elect Obama's nomination, so that we don't have a president in office in the future that may be unable to constitutionally execute the law of the land.
I don't understand why I keep getting dug down; it's a valid point that this needs to be sent to the Supreme Court for validation. As I stated before, Obama is likely qualified, but it still needs to be validated before he is sworn in to avoid potential problems in the future.
Again, thank you for pointing out the part about the divorce decree being garbage; I sincerely appreciate it.
Edit: Personally, I hope Obama comes through this. I would hate to see President-Elect Biden :-) - 24AheadDotCom, on 01/12/2009, -11/+4Actually, the truth of the matter is that BHO has still not provided definitive proof of where he was born:
http://24ahead.com/s/obama-citizenship
That doesn't mean he was born on Mars. It only means that he hasn't provided definitive proof of where he was born.
And, those who say that he's provided definitive proof are lying. - squinky86, on 01/12/2009, -8/+2Well, Hawaiian Statute 338 says that you can get a Hawaiian birth certificate if born overseas. The divorce decree of Obama's parents mentions that their child, "born in Kenya..." Legal documentation is against Obama, and his refusal to speak about this issue is what causes me personal concern.
President-Elect Obama is likely qualified, but let's let the courts determine if he is CONSTITUTIONALLY a natural-born citizen. - gmdmartyr, on 01/12/2009, -11/+1I don't need a BC. Just show me one of his other papers. Just one! He has hid them ALL from the public. ummmmm....wonder "WHY"?
Then again, I don't need to see any of them, as I know God has control of ALL things and "these" things MUST happen, as Obama leads us into a socialist one world order.
It has been prophesied! - existing, on 01/12/2009, -15/+5That "pushing his false claims and debunked garbage as long as the gullible idiots who believe it keep sending him donations" door swings both ways, dear. Al Gore and GIM come to mind.
- bigot, on 01/12/2009, -13/+2Yeah and in 2 weeks and one day we will be known as the socialist/fascist states of Amerika.
- anticom, on 01/12/2009, -13/+3I don't really care if Barack Hussein Obama is President, it won't be the first time someone has illegally occupied that position.
- squinky86, on 01/12/2009, -11/+1You can say "debunked lies" all you want. The truth is that Hawaiian Statute 338 says that you can get a Hawaiian birth certificate if born overseas.
- thoughtsonthis, on 01/11/2009, -21/+5I just don't have any hope that the Supreme Court will follow the Constitution. They are probably considering what could happen if Obama is pulled from the presidency. But I say do it now, or do it later, something will happen. Does blackmail ring a bell? Someone has to know the truth.
