- iofthestorm, on 05/10/2008, -1/+17He isn't running on a race ticket, it's the other candidates who are trying to bring him down because of race. Obama's never tried to play the race game, but Hillary keeps bringing it up for no reason. Obama's also biracial, he's half white half black.
- Cattywampus, on 05/11/2008, -5/+17Please, Obama fans, embrace "change" -- read and submit something other than the Huffington Post! The variety might do you some good...
- colomboj, on 05/11/2008, -5/+18This is a massively effective tactic. It worked in Iowa before the caucus when we saw record turn outs, and it will work for the general election as well. By pushing registration, and not negative politics people are brought in and feel like they are part of something worthwhile. I think that the GOP should listen up because it's a new world of politics, and they same ol' same ol' isn't going to win this time.
- socivitus, on 05/10/2008, -6/+16This is like the icing on the cake for Obama. I think he really has a shot at McCain come November. It all depends on the numbers they pull in from this though.
- PATSCRU, on 05/10/2008, -10/+20first off, i looked at obama long and hard before i decided to support him, as most of his supporters did. second off, seeing people excited about politics again is nothing to bash. third, posting a Michelle Malkin article to support a political argument means you're either joking or insane.
- NightVortez, on 05/11/2008, -1/+8NO. The A Team will be back in 2009.
- iamnobody8614, on 05/11/2008, -1/+7You sir, are an ignorant person. Not talking to our enemies (and allies, mind you) is the reason we are in this endless "war" against a shadow enemy. Just bombing the ***** out of everyone and extended occupations only creates more enemies than it does away with. America is not fighting against a sovereign nation with a specific known homeland and an infrastructure that can be disrupted effectively without another one immediately taking its place.
- cyrix, on 05/11/2008, -0/+6o_O What the ***** is wrong with you?
- arw371, on 05/11/2008, -3/+9The republican party has been seized by fascists who intend to bankrupt Americans to line the pockets of the new international elite, who will just leave America for another nation when our country falls like the soviet union did. They won't keep their money in our country.
Have fun voting for those who not only wont help you, but don't want to help you. - FlaG8r, on 05/11/2008, -1/+6Why would he hope we won't notice? We should have stayed concentrated on finishing off Al Queda and the Taliban in Afganistan and Pakistan in the first place.
- TinternAbbot, on 05/11/2008, -2/+8We could start by scaling back the size of the government.
- fuzzynyanko, on 05/11/2008, -3/+8Thanks to Bush, ONE TRILLION DOLLARs will end up the same value as one million today.
- gowolverines, on 05/11/2008, -2/+8You do realize that this is Digg right? It makes the front page because people "digg" it. Maybe you should look into how this site works.
It's no more spam than anything else on this site. The fact that people care about it explains why it makes the front page. - inactive, on 05/11/2008, -1/+5Only on Digg would you get dugg down for urging people to "vote your conscience". Hilarious!
- StarlessKnight, on 05/11/2008, -1/+5Troll Grade: F+
Are you even trying? - Cattywampus, on 05/11/2008, -2/+6I thought Digg was for people who like Huffington Post, LOLcats, and pics of anteaters in sweaters.
- SaladCactusKing, on 05/11/2008, -0/+4goddammit people hate jokes on digg*
*especially unfunny ones - theantirobot, on 05/11/2008, -3/+7I'd prefer a republic.
- jmkiii, on 05/10/2008, -1/+5You REALLY like posting that!
- or3n, on 05/10/2008, -22/+29seriously.. did the obama campaign buy out the huffington post or something? they don't even try to hide their bias.
- StarlessKnight, on 05/11/2008, -0/+3Don't strain yourself.
- RebeL5K, on 05/11/2008, -2/+5"Wacky accent"? You mean the fact that she speaks 6 languages and, based on your writing, you can't even write correctly in one?
- FlaG8r, on 05/11/2008, -3/+7That's what they said last time SaperKain.
- fuzzynyanko, on 05/11/2008, -1/+5Not if Bush finds a way to disband the Senate and starts building the Galactic Empire.
- inactive, on 05/11/2008, -1/+5As much as you want to pretend it is, digg is not your libtard political site. We all know how intolerant liberals are of other peoples views, but he has as much right to be here and voice his ideas as you do.
- inactive, on 05/11/2008, -1/+4I like to think digg is fill with people who wouldn’t like to have a beer with pres. Bush.
- Cattywampus, on 05/11/2008, -1/+5Funny, that's the same thing that was said about the last Presidential election... and maybe the one before.
- iamnobody8614, on 05/11/2008, -2/+5LOL. I think you silly neo-cons actually like war. You're not happy unless you think America is out there kicking someone's ass. Well, FYI, America isn't winning any war and McCain would continue it indefinitely no matter how many of our soldiers die or how far our economy sinks. Clinton has mostly lost her voice to significantly hurt Obama, the MSM has written her off. McCain has many weaknesses that will come to the forefront again, just like they did in 2000. You are the one who needs to wake up and notice that a change is coming and it's not one that your racist, hick ass is going to like.
p.s.- "She" isn't a proper noun so don't ***** capitalize it, dumbass. - inactive, on 05/11/2008, -2/+5"Idiots" is a little harsh but they obviously are "looking at Obama" rather than looking at his platform. Which is really all they have to look at because him and Hillary are basically the same politician in different wrappings. But to each his own, heck some people pick sports teams based on the color of their uniforms.
- inactive, on 05/11/2008, -11/+15This is going to be the most important election of our lifetimes. Go vote the future of our country is at stake.
- Cattywampus, on 05/11/2008, -1/+3"it's a new world of politics"
I don't think so. As for big voter registration drivers, Jesse Jackson did that when he ran for president (twice). It's not anything new. - inactive, on 05/11/2008, -1/+3Well, there's that whole "100 years in Iraq" thing. We're screwed any way you look at it.
- RebeL5K, on 05/11/2008, -3/+6You are a blatant moron. There is no such tax hike on anyone's mind except for yours.
- LeeSoong, on 05/11/2008, -0/+2The spare change - all that will be left over from your paycheck if these Socialists / Communists overthrow democracy and begin their new progroms for the Greater Good.
Federal Government Spending - Give until it Hurts! And boy, it's gonna hurt. Bad. - iofthestorm, on 05/10/2008, -3/+4You could probably do something like that with Yahoo pipes and the digg rss feed.
- CokeBear, on 05/11/2008, -2/+5Well we have to pay for Bush's stupid wars somehow. Tax & spend sucks, but at least its not as irresponsible as the spend and spend with no way to pay for it.
- HotSaucePanCake, on 05/11/2008, -0/+3I'd like some spare change please
- inactive, on 05/11/2008, -2/+4True. Eventually Obama will have to take a stand on the issues rather than reading his stump speech. He'll also have to debate which he hasn't had to do thus far. The Obama/Hillary debates are like yelling into a canyon because they are the exactly the same political creatures. Everyone sees this but the die hard Obama-bots. And if they could refrain from fainting in his presence, they'd realize it too.
- inactive, on 05/11/2008, -4/+6Spend your own money, don't tell me how to spend mine.
- Cattywampus, on 05/11/2008, -1/+5Yes, I've voted in every presidential election since 1976.
- wphj, on 05/11/2008, -4/+6I have never once heard anyone seriously contend that voting for someone other than Obama is racism.
Absolutely sure that HuffPost and DailyKos haven't. - manningbowl135, on 05/11/2008, -2/+4Please, please Obama fans, digg pro-Obama posts all you want. Just please don't do it without seeing it. You will not want to dig this idiotic, propaganda-like crap when you read it. It will make you ashamed that you dug such biased crap just b/c it had Obama in it.
- HotSaucePanCake, on 05/11/2008, -0/+2
Do you whack off to him at night too? - colomboj, on 05/11/2008, -2/+3Fox news? They say fair and balanced, that means they couldn't be a bunch of right wing nut jobs right?
- NightVortez, on 05/11/2008, -0/+2Digg.com? I'm joking of course, one internet fad after the next.
- HotSaucePanCake, on 05/11/2008, -0/+2I'd actually take a go at that route, the Senate is almost as useless as congress
- sanman, on 05/11/2008, -0/+2Even if he does win, you'll still be told America is racist. Only this time, the message will have the Presidential Seal on it.
- jordyhoyt, on 05/11/2008, -1/+2the funny thing is, that's a picture from the huge Promise Keepers rally in 97. look at the jumbotrons: http://throughtheveil.files.wordpress.com/2008/02/ ...
- inactive, on 05/11/2008, -0/+1test results - FAIL.
- fuzzynyanko, on 05/11/2008, -1/+3Actually, isn't Bush already commencing operations in Pakistan?
