Obama Calls For National Civilian Stasi
prisonplanet.com — Presidential front-runner Barack Obama has called for a "civilian national security force" as powerful as the U.S. military, comments that were ignored by the vast majority of the corporate media but compared by one journalist to the Nazi Hitler Youth.

- Pssdoff, on 07/17/2008, -2/+19I think a few people are starting to wake up and see Obama for who he really is instead of some rock star who will make the skies rain gold once elected.
The FISA bill, the $900 billion G.P.A., his fawning for AIPAC, and his dream creating a citizen stormtrooper army of domestic “Terrorism Liaison Officers” will surely cause those who are paying attention to reevaluate just who it is they are supporting.
But they would have to turn off their TV first, and we all know that will never happen... - Izult, on 07/18/2008, -0/+6Don't write them all off just yet, there are those who are realizing that the people who have been talking about how Democrats and Republicans are two sides of the same coin might actually know wtf they're talking about after all.
- NonServium, on 07/18/2008, -0/+2The elections are rigged and Obama knows this. Thus, of course he doesn't care about losing his public base of support. It's the private base of support who control the election machines that matters.
- cashman57, on 07/17/2008, -3/+32If you add up all of the money he plans to spend you come up with a deepening problem.
This program would cost a trillion dollars a year, and all of that would be deficit spending. Nothing about cutting the budget, reducing the size and scope of government, or anything about what needs to happen to stop the impending economic collapse.
He is part of the problem. He has voted for deficit budgets, emergency spending, and keeping some spending off-budget.He wants to ramp up our military, increase spending and taxation and thinks giving more power to the federal reserve is a solution. - Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -1/+30and the campaign has removed the text from the transcript of the speech. how telling is that? http://digg.com/politics/Obama_s_Big_Brother_vanis ...
- wakananda, on 07/17/2008, -1/+30This CFR puppet is tipping his hand now. The corporate media clearly performed it's function by filtering this monumental proposal out of public consciousness (how do you not report on the proposal, by a presidential candidate, to create domestic national police force - of at-risk youth?!- "more powerful than the US military?"). Perhaps this next tightening-of-the-noose was meant to be offered as a "solution" to the next "crisis" - but the rent-boy-in-chief wanted to claim it as his own visionary plan.

"National Civilian Security Force"
***** sacrificing our lives and human existence on this planet dying for their wars for profit for rich elite banksters, military industrial complex, defense industries and AIPAC. Take your "National Civilian Security Force" and shove it up your ***** Barrack Obama. How about you start by signing your own precious kids up for it? Lead by example. Almost forgot, you're not a leader you are a MISleader. My bad
Why don't they form a "national politician security force" ? Have presidents, "elected officials", con-gress, senate, and likewise politician sell-outs drafted to go fight the fraudulent, criminal, murderous wars they fund with billions of dollars of our hard-earned tax money. Have politicians fight and die for the horrific acts of state sponsored terrorism 'wars' these bought sold & paid for charlatans support, encourage and approve. Draft the ***** politicians. Work for the money you bleed off our backs. We just wanna live our lives in peace. You want war? Go fight it yourself. Take your kids with you.
We need to form a National Civilian Security Force to REVOLT against these slick talking traitors and criminal deceivers. We should organize a 'National Civilian Revolution" to take to the streets in the millions. Take our government, Constitution and country back from the fascists that hi-jacked it out from underneath us. THAT I will sign up for.

- wreckosaurus, on 07/18/2008, -5/+4So what is the definition of sheeple, someone who believes anything that's put in front of them, without critically thinking. I suppose everyone who reads prison planet qualifies then. This was completely taken out of context, there's a reason nobody reported this in the real news, and it's not because of some conspiracy, it's because Obama was NOT calling for a "Hitler Youth." Here's what he was actually talking about:
"FDR not only enlisted Americans to create employment, he targeted that service to build our infrastructure and conserve our environment. JFK not only called on a new generation, he made their service a bridge to the developing world, and a bright light of American values in the darkest days of the Cold War.
Today, AmeriCorps - our nation's network of local, state and national service programs - has 75,000 slots. I know firsthand the quality of these programs. My wife Michelle once left her job at a law firm to be the founding director of an AmeriCorps program in Chicago that trains young people for careers in public service. These programs invest Americans in their communities and their country. They tap America's greatest resource - our citizens.
As President, I will expand AmeriCorps to 250,000 slots, and make that increased service a vehicle to meet national goals like providing health care and education, saving our planet and restoring our standing in the world, so that citizens see their efforts connected to a common purpose. People of all ages, stations, and skills will be asked to serve. Because when it comes to the challenges we face, the American people are not the problem - they are the answer.
We'll send more college graduates to teach and mentor our young people. We'll call on Americans to join an Energy Corps to conduct renewable energy and environmental cleanup projects in their neighborhoods. We'll enlist veterans to help other vets find jobs and support, and to be there for our military families. And we'll also grow our Foreign Service, open consulates that have been shuttered, and double the size of the Peace Corps by 2011 to renew our diplomacy. "
Oh NO, not the peace corp!!!! Clearly a NWO CFR scam to enslave mankind. But digg this down, because you don't want to hear the truth, just some ***** Alex Jones spouts.- ReidFleming, on 07/18/2008, -4/+1Good luck with this post. - MarkEarhart, on 07/18/2008, -1/+5If that f__cker can do it so can I!!! I call on every patriotic American to stop paying income tax completely and invest that money into a civilian organized and operated militia as defined and protected by the second amendment. Such a militia should answer to no one at any level of government. The only loyalty for this proposed militia should be that which we owe each other as fellow American citizens in uniting for our common defense against tyranny from ANY source, foreign or domestic.
- Parapadrifter, on 07/18/2008, -1/+3I definately like the idea of a Nation-wide militia, made of people who will defend the constitution and bill of rights when the cronies in Washington make it impossible to.
- GerWaiian, on 07/21/2008, -0/+0I say stop paying taxes and invest in to a new candidate! Michael Badnarik has my support !
- Hangly, on 07/18/2008, -0/+4Wow, that's really... odd.
- citizenfury, on 07/18/2008, -4/+2After having been concerned, I decided to look into this.
Context is everything here. The entirety of this speech is about service.
The entire paragraph from which the quote is drawn reads thus:
"We're gonna send more college graduates to teach and mentor our young people. We'll call on Americans to join an Energy Corps to conduct renewable energy and environmental cleanup projects in their neighborhoods all across the country. We will enlist our veterans to find jobs and support for other vets, and to be there for our military families. And we're gonna grow our Foreign Service, open consulates that have been shuttered, and double the size of the Peace Corps by 2011 to renew our diplomacy. We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've gotta have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

You're obviously interested in hearing a second opinion on the state of the union. Otherwise, you wouldn't be here. But if you're not interested in a true intellectual conversation with people who understand history, go back to COMATOSE and listen to mainstream media, Bill O'Reilly, Fox News, Chris "TeeBall" Matthews, Rush Limbaugh, Vanity and Foams at the mouth for David Rockefeller and the New World Order.
Go back to your TV and get lulled back to SLEEP by reruns of the 5 hour All-Star Game and an in-depth discussion over whether Brett Favre is or isn't going to be a Packer next year. Oh, the drama!
Go back to sleep, NUMB-nuts. The adults are having a d-i-s-c-u-s-s-i-o-n.

- Regbooker, on 07/18/2008, -0/+5HA! good luck seeing this reach the front page. Specially with all his acolytes at Digg trying to filter reality.
- AlwaysAwake, on 07/18/2008, -1/+4Blackwater, DynaCorp, and others already on the job. Mission Accomplished !!! Ask the Katrina victims, who showed up first in New Orleans. Or the HAARP midwest fllood victims.
- macwac, on 07/18/2008, -0/+2*deleted question* - didn't see that citizenfury answered it. This is taken severely out of context.. (my question was why would you need a national security force when your bringing the entire army back from Iraq)
- MarkEarhart, on 07/18/2008, -0/+2The fool has waffled about bringing our troops home. As for a "National Security Force" we already have the need for and definition of one in the second amendment.
- filmbuff2008, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1That's a really good point. If he is running on a platform of bringing home the troops (and let's face it, that is the only reason people are voting for him) then the troops would be here in America protecting us against attacks, enemies, etc. etc.
If you see the clip that this speech is taken from, you can see that the only thing he says that has any resonance with the audience is that we need to bring our troops home.
Once again, they create the problem, and offer the solution.
- DocOctavius, on 07/18/2008, -3/+1First of all, the comparison to the Nazi party is unwarranted- he's suggesting a civilian controlled security organization, in contrast to a government controlled security organization, such as Homeland Security... he's essentially calling on us to act for ourselves instead of relying on the Government. You guys are so ***** paranoid- there's never been any situation we can compare this to, especially Nazi Germany- it's unfair to compare the 2 countries, populations, leaders or anything having to do with our current state and WWII Germany. Get out and volunteer is what his point is. I'm disappointed in the lack of trust, even though I understand it. Obviously this guy is just doing his best to come up with ideas that will help- he's only human. He's also the smartest guy in a position to win, so you can do what you want, I'm using plain old logic. Vote for the best candidate.
- MarkEarhart, on 07/18/2008, -0/+2Nazi Germany was mild compared to the decline of civil liberties and descent into tyranny we have seen since 9/11. What planet have you been on?
- filmbuff2008, on 07/18/2008, -0/+0In response to your statement that "it's unfair to compare the 2 countries, populations, leaders, or anything having to do with our current state and WWII Germany"
Are you a CIA operative? Are you blind? Are you mental? That is not a sane statement. Are you living in another state? Perhaps that's the case, because if you are living in the United States that statement is the most unfounded statement I have heard in a really long time.
Is this Karl Rove?
Perhaps you live in a different state altogether. The state of DENIAL. Wake up! Turn off the boob tube before you turn into one yourself.
- chessmasterjoe, on 07/18/2008, -1/+5I have already volunteered. I am part of the militia as are every able bodied citizen. I am ready to defend my rights and yours. I don't need Obama or any politician to start some quasi military organization.
- filmbuff2008, on 07/18/2008, -1/+1A civilian national security force is not AmeriCorps or PeaceCorps. They do not deal with security. So, we take "a civilian national security force" at face value, and at face value that has never ever been about freedom. It always tied into fascism. So we can deal in, "Did it ever occur to you..." until the cows come home but there are no magic what ifs. If anyone is "projecting" it is you, Brew. You are trying interpret it in a way that is completely inaccurate. Civilian national security force has never been AmeriCorps or PeaceCorps. What you have to understand is that people of Obama's ilk seem to let things slip once and awhile about what they really want to do to the country. That's a fact.
Forget the left-right false paradigm you obviously buy into. Take what they say at face value, and even look beyond what they say once and awhile, look at what they do. Because at the end of the day whether he says he's going to do it or not doesn't matter as much as him actually doing it. Bush didn't say a lot. He never told the American public his plans but he did them. You're damned right he did and we are all paying for it right now.
So I'd encourage you to move beyond naivete and towards truth. And understand that you are not going to get the truth from Main Stream Media. Listen, Operation Mockingbird was in the 1950's. Can you imagine how much better and sophisticated they have gotten at the lies? These people do not want to be your leaders. They want to be your lords.
