- blakecr, on 10/27/2008, -1/+36Vote early!!!
I am so frightened that people like this will show up early on election day and do some voter suppression through fear of being attacked.
I don't think it is paranoia, its that I put nothing passed the agents of hate and fear.
Vote early and make sure your voice counts! - inactive, on 10/27/2008, -1/+32Vote early and vote Obama
- inactive, on 10/27/2008, -1/+28Don't be afraid. That's how these bastards win. Just vote and hope.
- skteoievtehr, on 10/27/2008, -1/+23If we all stand together, they can't stop change.
- saranac7, on 10/27/2008, -1/+23Keep whipping up the hatred Palin! Her rally in NC yesterday had a banner outside proclaiming: "KKK for Palin"...
- claret63, on 10/27/2008, -1/+23VOTE! be vigilant against fraud and don't let these horrible twisted people scare you. Remember FDR - there is nothing to fear but fear itself!
Obama/Biden 08 !! - inactive, on 10/27/2008, -1/+21Yes....don't be swayed by fear....this is what Obama and his wife Michelle always say. He is protected by the best. Vote Obama and vote for every other democrat on the ballot! Get out the vote....volunteer! WE NEED YOU! The biggest thing is....we have to have record voter turnout to win this election.
- mrgreen371, on 10/27/2008, -1/+19A big thank you to the federal agents that stopped this.
- kareemachan, on 10/27/2008, -1/+18Maybe next time somebody shouts, "Kill him!" or "Off with his head!" at a McCain or Palin rally, they will do the honorable, ethical, moral, and legal thing by nipping it in the bud. They are are so guilty of not only further dividing this country (when we all need to work together in these troubled times), but also pouring gasoline on the flames of hatred, suspicion, and prejudice. I had hoped that the McCain campaign would honor their promise to not drag the campaign down into the mud, but that seemed to have lasted all of 5 minutes.
- thelif, on 10/27/2008, -3/+16"We're not being divisive or exploiting people's fears. We just need to inform people how different Obama is, his 'socialist' policies, e-mails about him being the anti-christ, or how he hates babies. What bad can possible come from this?"
- seasalt17, on 10/27/2008, -1/+14Exactly. Good job McCain/Palin (or should that be the other way around?) on giving those Timothy McVeigh types the nudge they needed to publicly head right off the cliff. I thought all the terrorists were in Guantanamo, Mr. Bush? I thought the war in Iraq "made this country a safer place for all Americans"? Mr. Bush? Does anyone know where the president is??
Now who is it that is Anti-American? - inactive, on 10/27/2008, -4/+16That picture that next to the headline needs to be changed. People are gonna think that guy has something to do with the story and that picture is from another story.
- Echota, on 01/05/2009, -1/+13It is more important now then ever to vote!
Do not let Fear keep you from voting!
We cannot let this kind of violence rule America!
That's not who we are.....unless we let it happen!!!
Wake Up America!
Let's take Back America!
Get Out And Vote!! - inactive, on 10/27/2008, -1/+11No need to call em crackers....ignorant, disgusting, horrible etc. etc. but calling them crackers doesn't help.
- inactive, on 10/27/2008, -1/+10Wow, I wonder what their Digg usernames are...
- lattethunder, on 10/27/2008, -1/+9Racism dead? No, it's born of ignorance, which highlights a point I've been making ad nauseam: the most important issue in any election is education. Properly educated, our nation wouldn't keep producing hilljacks like these two. Properly educated, we wouldn't be fooled or manipulated by fear into supporting oil wars and bailouts for Wall Street speculators. Properly educated, we'd never elect a right-wing conservative. Cut the defense budget by 33% (I'm appeasing the centrists), nationalize healthcare, and start funding schools. Give them resources, and start recruiting and paying quality teachers who're currently hiding in the private sector.
- leapetra, on 10/27/2008, -1/+9Just remember there are people in other countries that go past squads of gunmen to vote. I we get scared off by these people. Then how do we justify democracy to people that have to risk their lives to do it.
- Bastet62, on 10/27/2008, -2/+9My gawd - this is disturbing. How many left-wing/liberals are there out there trying to commit similar crimes? I'll tell you: NONE! Because liberals want PEACE JUSTICE EQUALITY LIFE LIBERTY & the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS - for everyone no matter what.
- womensgroup, on 10/27/2008, -1/+7Congratulations McCain Campaign - YOU HAVE PROVED YOURSELF TO = the brownshirts of the NAZI's. You and your garbage Palin will be held responsible for this. SHAME ON THE REPUBLICAN PARTY FOR INCITING THIS DISGUSTING ACT!
NO HONOUR MCCAIN! GUTTER MCCAIN and his SIDE KICK
THE NAZI WONDER! - foolishwolf, on 10/27/2008, -1/+7Voted early. Hope others do too!
- THETEH, on 10/27/2008, -1/+7This is terrifying. Unfortunately, as others have said, McCain and Palin fed the flames of this radicalism with their terrorist and socialist *****. They don't care if they're spreading ignorance and planting the seeds of hate, as long as it wins them votes.
- kareemachan, on 10/27/2008, -0/+5I googled that little gem and found this:

Loved the clothes sign! - musicalearth, on 10/27/2008, -1/+6this is just whacked. i know people are racist and this election there will be plenty of them at the polls intimidating people...but this scenario is just downright scary. there are so very few people out there like this.
i just wonder WHY? Why kill someone because they're different from you?
I mean, these poor kids probably come from a rural town with very few jobs or at least very little opportunity to make a good living, yet they're probably constantly voting against the Democratic platform which is aiming, or at least trying, to get them employed, supported and fed....boggles my mind - theutopian, on 10/27/2008, -2/+7Truly disgusting.
Obama made me proud to be an American again. Then there's these troglodytes. Shame rising. Rising. - saranac7, on 10/27/2008, -0/+5Tres bien! thanks for sharing!
- robish518, on 10/27/2008, -1/+6stand up to terrorists.... Go Vote!!!
- JenniferInMO, on 10/27/2008, -0/+4And if the plot by these disturbed people was to kill Palin would you feel the same way?
- pedo, on 10/27/2008, -2/+6I wonder if Sarah Palin would consider these guys "terrorists."
"Is an abortion clinic bomber a terrorist, under this definition, Governor?"
"There's no question that Bill Ayers, via his own admittance, was one who sought to destroy our US Capitol and our Pentagon. That is a domestic terrorist! Ah, there's no question there. Now others who would want to engage in harming innocent Americans, or um, facilities that uh it would be unacceptable th- ah- I don't know if you're gonna use the word 'terrorist' there." - goldenpixie1, on 10/27/2008, -1/+4I am extremely distressed by the hate, anger, and racism that has been stirred up by the McCain/Palin camp! People - we have real enemies out there - extremists who want us dead! At this rate, they won't have to lift a finger - we'll end up killing each other!
Vote Obama! Vote early! - blakecr, on 10/27/2008, -0/+3Not at all trying to be funny, but that guy isn't a skin head.
Deadpixel probably submitted the article as soon as it popped up and didn't even check the image. It has happened to me with stuff from huffpo...stuff gets submitted so fast you have to hurry. - solstice21, on 10/27/2008, -3/+6*raise hand*
What does the thumbnail of old people voting have to do with neo nazis planning to go on a racially motivated murder spree?
Anyone? - grlykool, on 10/28/2008, -0/+3Does that guy have on eyeshadow?
- movingtoengland, on 10/28/2008, -0/+3They take cues from their leaders, who they blindly follow...Sarah says this in her speeches ...ie the Real America...he isn't like us....
- DivisibleByZero, on 10/27/2008, -0/+3"stuff gets submitted so fast you have to hurry"
I miss the days when media sources actually vetted information instead of just trying to beat the other guy to it. We should at least try to police ourselves and not let overblown sensationalist crap (like this story, among others) get misrepresented as news. - JenniferInMO, on 10/27/2008, -0/+3I wish I could digg your comment several times. I agree 100%.
- pedo, on 10/27/2008, -1/+4actually they planned on not succeeding. in other words they were suicidal and they thought of themselves as martyrs. read the article. those are the most dangerous kind of assassins.
- saranac7, on 10/27/2008, -1/+3worse yet you didn't even spell "trampling" correctly...
- Halbermunken, on 10/28/2008, -0/+2People let phenotypes decide whom to hate? Even to this day?
- movingtoengland, on 10/28/2008, -0/+2Nah! Win at ANY cost.
- RuffBong, on 10/28/2008, -0/+2He suuuuure is purdy. he's gonna make someone a nice piece of ass in prison.
- grlykool, on 10/28/2008, -0/+2This goes w/out saying, that guy is a terrorist!
- saranac7, on 10/27/2008, -2/+4see kw7777777's comment above
- dn11, on 10/28/2008, -0/+2I didn't know Britney Spears is a crazy militant white supremacist.
- bjornski, on 10/28/2008, -0/+2That was the first thing that struck me.
At first, I didn't even think it was a guy, I thought it was a butch-chick. - osko2052, on 10/28/2008, -0/+2@uppitydiggers, statements like yours only create more hate. We are all brothers. There is one race. The human race.
- bjornski, on 10/28/2008, -0/+1Quoting G. Gordon Libby? That criminal tied to McCain?
"If the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms insists upon a firefight, give them a firefight. Just remember, they're wearing flak jackets and you're better off shooting for the head."
You guys are so funny with your smears. You get some of the quotes and intentions right, but attribute them to the wrong people.
People are getting tired of the "Party of Hate". - bjornski, on 10/28/2008, -0/+1I liked the MILF one too.
- bjornski, on 10/28/2008, -0/+1That's what mavericks are known for.
- JenniferInMO, on 10/27/2008, -2/+3No one says it would be successful, but making plans (however stupid) must be taken seriously. Hinkley was a nutbag, but he was successful. If you don't have outrage for anyone who plans to kill people, any people much less an iconic Presidential candidate there is something wrong with you.
