- elshizzo, on 12/03/2008, -59/+530ha, like this is going to stop the lunatic far-right, when have the facts ever mattered to them?
- SheilaNoya, on 12/03/2008, -49/+439But, but, but... according to the wingnuts, Communist spies planted this in the paper 44 years ago as part of their long term plot, back when they smuggled a black infant into Hawaii in 1961. They somehow knew that he would become America's first black president, so they had to cover their tracks for their evil "Trojan Horse" plan to work. They even named him Barack Hussein Obama, since that was a name that most people could identify with because it sounded so "American".
Not only that, but they also brainwashed him as a tiny infant and turned him into a communist, muslim, jihadist, socialist, marxist, crack smoking, gay baby. I think it was something they infused into his breast milk.
Their dastardly plan worked perfectly. They even managed to use secret rays from space to convince the vast majority of America to vote for him.
I know this evil plan is true because WingNutDaily says so! - theblueprint, on 12/03/2008, -15/+230I don't believe this so called "evidence".
I'm going to need to see time-stamped video footage of Pres. Elect Obama falling from his mother's womb, while his mother holds her birth certificate and Social Security card in her right hand, and a GPS (with two calibration documents) in her left.
Until I'm shown *all* of this evidence, I'll continue to bitch about a candidate I don't like being rightfully elected. And should someone produce this evidence... I'll go bitch in another thread. - momomorrell, on 12/03/2008, -17/+137whatever, we all know blac...i mean "socialists" have time travelling skills.
- NoDrama, on 12/03/2008, -23/+137This was debunked so many times during the election I can hardly imagine why it's still on DIGG. I mean, I know the desperate want to discredit Obama, that's politics, but let's get real: It's no longer news.
- JDoorjam, on 12/04/2008, -2/+100To be fair, facts don't matter to extremists of any flavor.
But no, this will not slow them down. If anything, this is just further proof of.... (incoherent mumble) conspiracy of (mumble) left-wing media (mumble) terrorist plot. Muslim. - inactive, on 12/03/2008, -7/+100Nothing
Or did you already realize you answered your own question? - inactive, on 12/03/2008, -9/+96This is just more evidence that Obama was indeed born in Hawaii.
- gab00n, on 12/03/2008, -31/+115Ha-Ha!
It's ***** over. :) - SheilaNoya, on 12/03/2008, -3/+83Disagreement is fine if you present FACTS. Then we'll have a meaningful discussion.
However, when people choose to use lies and hearsay from anti-Obama blogs as their "facts", then the discussion is over. FAIL. - sockpuppets, on 12/04/2008, -4/+835 people buried you so far. 5 people who apparently admit they're on the lunatic far-right but think that facts do matter to them, lol.
- inactive, on 12/08/2008, -6/+83LOL! You've got the wingnuts pegged so perfectly.
Of course, you know though, that they're going to argue that with 9 WHOLE DAYS between the birth and the announcement anything could have happened! They could have flown back from Kenya in time place to the notice in the paper. They could have phoned it in. They could have have had someone else place the ad. Or, if you're bona fide member of the tinfoil hat brigade, it could have been planted some time after Obama decided to run for president, because he has so many people that are happy to help him advance his communist, Muslim, jihadist, socialist, Marxist, crack smoking, gay agenda. - scottknick, on 12/03/2008, -16/+92Don't you people SEE? It says right at the top of the column "Health Bureau Statistics." That can only mean one thing --
THAT THE HONOLULU HEALTH BUREAU IS IN ON THIS VAST GLOBAL CONSPIRACY!!!! My God, they've corrupted everybody, from the Republican governor of Hawaii to Walter Annenberg to the administrators of the Italian version of Wikipedia! Is there ANYBODY beyond their reach?
Remember the Birther Motto -- "The truth is out there, but that doesn't mean we have to pay any attention to it." - indyGuy, on 12/03/2008, -9/+83Here's a PNG instead of PDF
http://img115.imageshack.us/img115/7558/obama1961b ... - Hortnon, on 12/03/2008, -7/+79That's right, folks. His parents called...from Africa...to Hawaii...to have a fake birth announcement posted.
But let's forget that stupidity real quick.
You say: Hawaii has birth certificates for babies born internationally.
But: Sure, but do they list the birthplace as a Hawaiian island, like Obama's?
You say: Hawaii has not said Obama was born there.
But: They have certified his birth certificate as authentic, which lists a Hawaiian island as his birthplace. Certifying it as authentic with that information on it implicitly confirms Hawaii as his birth place.
You say: He has spent lots of money defending his "hidden" birthplace
But: Where's the proof of this? Just because a judge ruled that citizens don't have standing to sue to determine citizenship, that doesn't mean money was spent on the defense. Nor does it mean the defense was wrong.
You say: The Supreme Court will force Obama to show the certificate
But: The Supreme Court is not ruling on his citizenship. They would be ruling on whether a citizen can sue, then sending the case back to the Federal Court if they found in the citizen's favor. However, the Writ that you refer to is simply arguing to the Court why the case should be heard. There will be no decision on the previous Federal case unless the Court decides to specifically hear the case - Which is not what the deadline you refer to is for.
You say: He was born in Kenya and will refuse to show his certificate.
But: As I said, Hawaii has already certified the certificate that shows his birthplace as a Hawaiian island. He doesn't need to show his certificate.
You say: [link to blog]
But: Where are the sources to all of the claims? All this person does is declare FACT without any backing. - Eiknujrac, on 12/03/2008, -6/+77But... don't you get it?
This whole conspiracy started back even before he was born. They knew he was going to be president so they bought off the editor of the paper to have this printed.
It all makes sense now!!!!!!!
... - SheilaNoya, on 12/03/2008, -2/+71It's easy to think like a conspiracy loon. That 9 days you mentioned also has special meaning to these nutjobs:
--- 9 is a product of 3 x 3 (so 3 is an important factor)
--- An upside down 9 is a 6 (another important clue)
--- What happens when you put three sixes together (666)?
That's right... Obama must be the Anti-Christ too! - acroyear2, on 12/03/2008, -1/+66now that you have revealed this, I must have you destroyed.
- acroyear2, on 12/03/2008, -6/+69YAH! One of you people showed up and posted your paranoid ramblings! Tell us more about the muslim lizard people who birthed Obama with plans to kill all the white people!!
- dtr300, on 12/03/2008, -5/+64It wasn't in the breast milk. It was secret signals from Boris and Natasha in the cartoons that young Barack watched when he got home from the madrassa every afternoon.
- inactive, on 12/03/2008, -4/+61Thread over...
- ApokalypseNow, on 12/03/2008, -6/+62Do you have any evidence that anyone is hiding anything? Do you have any evidence for your position that President-elect Obama is not a natural born citizen? Do you understand the concept of "evidence" at all?
- inactive, on 12/03/2008, -2/+54Okay, not bashing you, but I need to say this loudly. *ahem*
THIS WAS NOT A PAID BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT, THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WAS DONE AUTOMATICALLY IN A SECTION OF THE PAPER DEDICATED FOR REPORTING BIRTHS, MARRIAGES, AND DEATHS USING INFORMATION THE HOSPITALS PROVIDED.
*phew!*
If you ever hear the rage right wing (or anyone else) claim the Obama's placed this birth announcement, tell them that they couldn't have. It simply isn't a possibility. Not this particular one-line announcement. This came from a list that the hospital put together. Period. - inactive, on 12/03/2008, -9/+59If a bear ***** in the woods, would anyone care?
Oh yeah, WND would. - captainktainer, on 12/04/2008, -3/+51Amazingly enough, there was no Internet back then. Stuff like this had to be mailed, and hospitals would put together a week or so worth of birth announcements from their lists and then mail it to the paper. The paper would then publish it on their next publication date.
So, in other words, you're a moron who doesn't understand life in the 60s. Go away. - felman87, on 12/03/2008, -5/+52Yes, Obama was born in Kenya, even though his mother never went to Kenya, ever, not even once in her life. But since he's the 'Messiah" "The One" "That One" "0" or whatever the hell we're calling him this week, he's clearly capable of being born outside of a woman. /s
- Hortnon, on 12/03/2008, -6/+53Only if it were a liberal, possibly gay bear.
If it were atheist they'd have embedded reporters in that forest so fast... - analogkid01, on 12/04/2008, -3/+49You actually vote with that sort of logic?
- inactive, on 12/03/2008, -5/+48"Well if all of these people are correct in that Obama just had to be born in America I would think calling the newspaper to add a birth announcement far easier than figuring out the rest."
Yeah, except this section of the newspaper wasn't for paid birth announcements. That was a one-line birth announcement that the paper generated based on a list of live births from the Honolulu hospital. It simply wasn't possible for a paid Obama birth announcement to end up there. Paid birth announcements weren't common at the time anyhow.
So given that info, what is your new theory? - loganava, on 12/03/2008, -10/+53Why is this not being discussed on obamacrimes.com? LMAO.
- inactive, on 12/03/2008, -14/+57The birthers sure have given this wide latitude. It is just like the troofers: Evidence that ruins my fantasy? I'll just ignore it!
- inactive, on 12/03/2008, -8/+50This can't be! At the Alfred E. Smith dinner, then-Senator Obama confirmed he's from Krypton.
Until I see some 8mm footage of his actual birth, I will never, NEVER I tell you, be convinced.
I STILL smell a vast left wing conspiracy! Off with our heads! - publiclurker, on 12/03/2008, -3/+44What's sad, is that after listening to the ramblings of the nut jobs, I'm not 100% sure you are joking.
- phrenzy, on 12/04/2008, -5/+43Thanks for proving the point of every post above you.
"raping beloved country"? ... Please stay away from 'sporting goods' stores.
Lunatic Far Right in da HAUS! - EatingPie, on 12/03/2008, -13/+51The guy is a US Citizen born in the US. Can we get over it already? And while we're at it, can we get over Palin too?
Sheesh. It's like the never-ending election.
-Pie - deduction, on 12/04/2008, -6/+42Super-divisive threads like this are incredibly useful. Without them, I have a much harder time deciphering which right-wing extremists I need to add to my block list.
- jitterbits, on 12/04/2008, -3/+37How is that proof of anything?
The guy doesn't even sound like he knows what the people are asking him. - inactive, on 12/04/2008, -2/+36Please report to the sarcasm detector repair department...
- inactive, on 12/03/2008, -4/+36Interesting, here is the Zillow report on 6085 Kalanianaole Hwy:

Looks like it's been hit kind of hard by the housing bubble bursting.
"This is my graceland" *tear* /sarc - JRowe3388, on 12/04/2008, -2/+34Barack Hussein Obama SENIOR was born in Kenya.
That link above says "This Honolulu Advertiser announcment of Barack Obama's Aug 4, 1961 birth was published August 13, 1961 on page B-6". This proves he was born in Honolulu.
lrn2read - inactive, on 12/04/2008, -17/+46Seriously. The crap about Barack Obama's citizenship comes up every other week, it seems.

It's DONE and OVER, people. Quit being stupid. - Syric, on 12/04/2008, -1/+29The fact that you're dead wrong is only exacerbated by the fact that you don't even act like you're sure.
"Wouldn't it have been published on the 5th or even a day or 2 later."
Short answer: no.
Long answer: no, you idiot. - beakerwimp, on 12/03/2008, -4/+32Okiemike's post is truly hilarious. I have a feeling it is a joke, but I certainly could be wrong.
- fiatjustitia, on 12/04/2008, -1/+29Extreme Right-Wing Critical Thinking in a nutshell:
1 + 1 = Banana.
- swrostmore, on 12/03/2008, -7/+34Every time I think this story can't possibly be any more debunked, somebody goes and surprises me.
- FreddieD, on 12/04/2008, -2/+29"I'm not a far right anything..."
"There goes the ship.... it's sunk. But don't let constitutional law stop you from raping my beloved country. Go right on ahead."
Oh really?
Besides, don't you think that if this was true that the republican party would have used this??? For as long as you nutjobs have been crying about it, I'm quite sure they have researched this matter as far as anybody possibly could. - Betrayer, on 12/04/2008, -9/+36Digg Time warp.... why is this relevant now?
did i just warp back in time 2 months, when this was all discussed and proven before?
I am from the future... Obama wins the election...... - ApokalypseNow, on 12/03/2008, -4/+30Please provide evidence that President-elect Obama has spent any money to prevent his birth certificate from being seen, especially in light of the fact that it is Hawaii state law that prevents it from being released, not any action from Obama himself.
- JDoorjam, on 12/04/2008, -3/+29Wait, wait wait wait.
You haven't ruled out the possibility that it's just a _clone_ of Obama's mother giving birth to a _cloned_ Obama in Hawaii that they then got rid of and replaced with the _current_ Obama. I can't even think of a way of ruling that out, so we have to assume he's a secret Muslim Communist terrorist. It's just not safe to do otherwise. - sapphire9488, on 12/04/2008, -2/+28No. The birth announcements in local papers usually appear every month, or couple of weeks. My neice's birth wasn't annouced until the month after she was born.
