No debate, no discussion. Just $$$ and lawyers.
***** right wing scumbags can always be counted on to act as cowardly as possible. - WeNeedTruth, on 11/15/2007, -20/+79The 9/11 traitor & boldfaced liar, O'Reilly, is the one who needs to be investigated!
- Rodehodeh, on 11/14/2007, -12/+42Wow, This may be a new low for O'Reilly trying to get a hard working law student kicked out of a fantastic university just because hes critical of him. Whatever happened to Freedom of Speech.
- sgglynn, on 11/14/2007, -8/+37awh poor bill, doesn't it suck when someone shows up at your home and harasses you? Makes up for the countless amount of times you do it on your program, interesting you went from supporting a confrontation at a home, to against it, even as you did it as recently as two weeks ago.
- SanDiego92103, on 11/14/2007, -10/+36Again, Bill O'Reilly is a megalomaniac. Do as he says, not as he does. How dare you criticize this idiot?
- Dumbledorito, on 11/14/2007, -3/+28When you talk for a living, an archive of what you say shouldn't come as a suprise.
- omgTHEPATRIOTS, on 11/14/2007, -3/+19anyone want to guess how badly this will backfire in Fox's faces??
- tmwilkin, on 11/14/2007, -6/+21Say what you will, write what you want and mock me as you please. Show up at my door....that's a HUGE line you just crossed. As much as a loud mouth as Bill is, if I were in his shoes the gloves would come off at the point you show up at my doorstop to harass me.
- ianzu, on 11/14/2007, -1/+14Ratings = Justified is a poor argument. American Idol regularly wins its timeslot, and it is complete drek.
- AwakeningAZ, on 11/14/2007, -5/+17rofl-falafel
- Dumbledorito, on 11/14/2007, -5/+16And the'll scream about frivolous use of lawyers all the way...
- nphase, on 11/14/2007, -3/+13I thought criticism was one of the tools of democracy.
- Dorepoll, on 11/14/2007, -0/+9I don't understand why you are being buried. If ratings = quality, then Arrested Development is horrible.
But the argument is irrelevant anyway. - zlintux, on 11/14/2007, -5/+12Freedom of speech is being expressed by burying your comment.
Oh, and there's this punctuation mark called a comma. Observe: "FYI, buddy, Bill O'Reilly..."
And if you try and insist that you were calling Bill O'Reilly your buddy, then it is a proper noun and should be capitalised. The use of "in the news" is also questionable, since when he is in the news, even his supporters can't claim it's "honourable."
Feel free to look up any other punctuation or capitalisation rules at your local elementary school. They can also explain how free speech is a two way road... - Intangible360, on 11/14/2007, -2/+9Say it aint so...the color red!
- ianzu, on 11/14/2007, -1/+8Not every story. Just the ones that demonstrate the scumbaggery of O'Reilly (although you'd probably call him MR O' Reilly.)
Just bury whatever Bill tells you to bury and leave the rest of us to think for ourselves. - Crazyviolinist, on 11/14/2007, -0/+7And the older you get, the more you want to put down people to raise yourself up.
And if you want to retort that I'm just a crazy liberal, go ahead. I've looked at your previous comments and it is the most hateful speech I've ever seen in a long time. You should be ashamed. Sure you can change your political views, but if you want hate speech, be prepared to be an outcast. You haven't grown wiser, you've grown hateful. - Shatzi, on 11/14/2007, -0/+6 mcosmi wrote that he daddy told him: "as you get older,... and wiser, the less liberal and more conservative you become." You and your father aren't too bright, then. As you grow older you should learn that the world isn't as black and white as the conservative viewpoint tries to paint it. It sounds like you were brought up in a silver spoon household with the typical conservative *****. What a sad loser.
- starkruzr, on 11/14/2007, -0/+6I'm 28 and have gotten more, not less, liberal as I've gotten older. This is because I have increasingly realized the truth that no man is an island and we all stand or fall together. Citizenship, civilization, and care for your fellow man are virtues. Fear and hatred of anyone different than you and heedless pursuit of personal wealth are not.
- otheruser, on 11/14/2007, -0/+6Almost every old, non-senile, proactive person (i.e., someone who created momentous change in the world) has liberal tendencies. Run down the list of Nobel laureates, talented writers, and other talented individuals who lived till old age - you'll discover your father was wrong...
- jstone, on 11/14/2007, -5/+11With that username, you can't be serious. Welcome to my block list, troll.
- gak001, on 11/14/2007, -0/+6And how is making a comment with the aim of getting a negative response not trolling? Perhaps you should use that link yourself.
- Cloudime, on 11/14/2007, -2/+8"The letter accuses Stark of violating the university's codes of conduct"
The university is against free speech? That's quite the steep conduct code! - nihilite, on 11/15/2007, -2/+8so by "investigating" you mean "fact checking"? Or do you mean "listening to his show and disagreeing with him"?
Who do you think is investigating O'Reilly? - nphase, on 11/14/2007, -1/+7Dugg for Radiohead background music in the video.
- thebellmaster1x, on 11/14/2007, -2/+7Goddamn it. Are you a complete *****? THIS IS AN EVENT THAT IS ACTUALLY TAKING PLACE. THIS IS NOT OPINION. IT IS THE SAME WHETHER IT'S FROM RAWSTORY OR DRUDGE. Do I have to mail it to you or something? You can't bury fact. Grow a brain. I'm tired of your stupid "LOL, THIS IS RAWSTORY, IT'S LIBERAL SO THIS CAN'T BE TRUE" *****.
- nihilite, on 11/14/2007, -4/+9Is cheney around or is someone eating a ***** sandwich?
- time4evacuation, on 11/14/2007, -4/+9FTA: "O'Reilly's most famous legal troubles came in a sexual harassment lawsuit filed by a former coworker. Before that lawsuit was even filed, O'Reilly and the Fox News legal team hit the host's accuser -- Andrea Mackris, a former Fox News producer -- with a countersuit claiming she was trying to extort $60 million from O'Reilly." --- All I have to say is: The world is ***** up when this guy has more than 60 Million dollars.
- Seeker135, on 11/14/2007, -1/+5You LIKE BILL AND HIS MESSAGE? AAAAHHHHHAAAHHHAHHHHHAAHAAAAASTOP IT, YOU'RE KILLING ME...AAAAAHHHHAAHHHHAAAA
- Seeker135, on 11/14/2007, -1/+5YES, YOU ARE.
- Azselendor, on 11/14/2007, -3/+7Don't you have a best friend to shoot in the face?
- Zenas, on 11/14/2007, -3/+7Looks like O'Really can give but not take. That's exactly where we need to take it, right to their homes. These arrogant pricks are insulated from reality. Time to show them some.
- otheruser, on 11/14/2007, -0/+4How old are you, 10?
You have alot to learn buddy... A hell of a ***** lot. - gak001, on 11/14/2007, -0/+4That was mostly incoherent. Come back and play with the big kids when you learn how to string a thought together.
- yarukizero, on 11/14/2007, -0/+4Somehow I don't think that's it...
But I do want to know why the university's code of conduct would have any bearing on what happens outside of the university. - jaymzdean, on 11/14/2007, -2/+6Actually, he didn't show up on his "doorstop". In fact. Oh if only you would give us your address, so we could see those gloves come off!! O'Reilly - Punk...you - little punk, but BIG FASCISTS!!
- dawg109, on 11/14/2007, -1/+5Hannity is next
- Shatzi, on 11/14/2007, -0/+4How he goes about exposing Bill-o's lies and ***** is his business as long as SOMEONE does it. Bill's ***** is getting old and it's about time that someone expose him for the slimy media hack that he his.
- ianzu, on 11/14/2007, -0/+4I think the point is that rather than be man up and debate a 'mere blogger' (and let's face it, if BO'R is in the right, with Fox backing him with resources and manpower he should be able to blow any incorrect POV out of the water), instead he had chosen the pussiest way out. This is the equivalent of telling someone's parents that their kid is being a meanie.
To my mind, adults don't act this way. Adults fight their battles in the battlegrounds they create. BO'R makes his bread and butter arguing his point of view, but bemoans anyone else from doing the same thing to him.
Going to someone's house might be stupid. Okay, it *is* stupid. But Mike's point there is that you don't attack a man before he's in the ring. Mike just went overboard in explaining this hypocrisy to a man who doesn't see anyone's views as relevant unless those views were given by Him. - jaewon223, on 11/14/2007, -0/+4oreilly needs to go. anybody remember that clip of the highschool student owning him on his own show?
- gbradley63, on 11/14/2007, -0/+4A target of a network exec!! Whats a matta, felon/sexual predator bill cant handle his own affairs?? What a spineless chump you and your fox boys are.. Hey has bush43 promised you a big chair on the North American Union board after he sacks the US, Canada and Mexico and fulfills his world domination agenda?
He can use another felon thug like yourself.. plus he has to hurry to meet his 2010 deadline..
http://nauinfo.blogspot.com - delafere, on 11/14/2007, -4/+7You're free to opine. We're free to disagree. That's what being dugg down means.
- nphase, on 11/14/2007, -8/+11It won't, because the democrats suck at doing anything about anything.
- Pake, on 11/14/2007, -2/+5Here's my problem with the whole ordeal. You have a freaking law student standing in front of someone's house and mocking him. You can only expect this guy to end up like Mike Nifong from the Duke Lacrosse case, where goes out of his way to publicly lie and harass people to win a case.
- Asphyxiaphilia, on 11/14/2007, -2/+5Baseless? Are you serious?
- inactive, on 11/14/2007, -0/+3Spoke like a 16 year old.
People tend to become MORE liberal as they get older and grow up.
The ones who stay right wing were insensitive and uncompassionate from a young age and just never developed. - wdoyle0447, on 11/14/2007, -0/+2I guess you won't mind if a group of people come harass you. You said it was ok for Bill, so it must be ok for you. It doesn't really matter why, let just say they don't agree with you. Fair is fair. No double standards apply here.
