- qdkk, on 07/21/2008, -13/+91How does BO know what a KKK gathering looks like?
- LonestarRanger, on 07/21/2008, -20/+96Definition of irony - When Bill O'Reilly says you have no credibility.
- vanguardanon, on 07/22/2008, -9/+70"That disqualifies Gore from any serious consideration by me in the future."
I'm sure that Al Gore is shocked that he won't have the support of O'Reilly going forward. He's been so helpful to his cause so far. - kneedeep, on 07/21/2008, -13/+45He makes it sound like Chappelle's Hater's Ball.
Hate hate hate hate hate! - inactive, on 07/21/2008, -17/+47Whether it's happening or not we should plan for it - Just like we should plan for another Ice Age, pandemic, earthquake in California, hurricane in Florida, the survival of our species should no longer be a "I'm right, you're wrong" discussion. It's too important for such pettiness. There's nothing wrong with planning ahead...
- danfive555, on 07/22/2008, -13/+38Bill O' passing judgment or passing gas, his fans suck it in either way.
- Shady81, on 07/22/2008, -6/+29***** it! We'll do it live!
- SQLserver, on 07/22/2008, -5/+25The directrix of the logicial quatum synapse therefore tells us:
Badfish0116 = Idiot. - pakakapa, on 07/22/2008, -8/+26he must know the KKK very well
- jaycers, on 07/22/2008, -4/+22No thinking person should give a ***** what a blowhole like Bill O'Reilly says.
- TwoQuestions, on 07/22/2008, -9/+25What exactly were the Netroots Nation people hating again that compares to the Nazis' hatred of the Jews and the Klansman's hatred of blacks, Catholics, and Yankees? I even went to their Web site and I couldn't find anything that they really hate.
O'Reilly's accusation of "hate" is about as factual as Maddox's accusation of him being a big blubbering vagina. Except the latter is at least figuratively true. I just hope the man never steps onto a college campus. The sheer level of critical thought and lack of blind fear or hatred would make the poor man's head asplode. - LZeppelinJ0, on 07/22/2008, -10/+26Does he just wake up in the morning and think to himself "Hm... I'm going to be ridiculously extra retarded today and spew more diarrhea out my mouth than I ever have in one lifetime out my ass," or does it just happen by accident?
- Andrwmorph, on 07/22/2008, -3/+17Who cares if global warming is *****? Reduced emissions and a smaller energy footprint are beneficial to everybody.
- RandomGorilla, on 07/22/2008, -8/+21Because Matt Drudge told him about it.
- withears, on 07/22/2008, -4/+17This is a guy who is desperate to maintain his ratings.
He'll say and do almost anything. - monoa, on 07/22/2008, -13/+26There's no doubt it's happening, that's why every national science academy of every industrialized country on the planet confirms recent climate change is due to human activity. There is no credible argument against that - it would take a massive global hoax or the biggest combined scientific 'mistake', spread over decades to explain that consensus away.
- LZeppelinJ0, on 07/22/2008, -3/+15Oh wait I answered me own question, Bill O'Riley doesn't think.
- thirdcoastborn, on 07/22/2008, -8/+19If anyone can be associated more with the Klan it's OReily and Dobbs with their anti-immigration ramblings.
- wmarcello, on 07/22/2008, -2/+13From Al Gore's perspective (and any other mentally stable human or animal), I would think that getting *endorsed* by Bill-O would be far, far worse.
- jeffinfremont, on 07/22/2008, -2/+13BillO's primary audience is dying off, and no one under the age of fifty takes him seriously, so he has to do or saw whatever he can to maintain visibility. My guess is he's jockeying for a new contract.
- treehugger87, on 07/22/2008, -2/+11Hate site? From the site:
"What we're fighting for: Social and Economic Justice. Healthy Communities. Global Leadership. A Secure America."
"What we're fighting against: Corrupt Establishment. Incompetent Establishment. Braindead Media. Radical Right-Wing Agenda." - NJank, on 07/22/2008, -1/+10But stern is funny.
- inactive, on 07/22/2008, -3/+12Bush wont like him dissing the Nazis.
- treehugger87, on 07/22/2008, -6/+15Some names from the list of speakers at netroots. All descriptions taken from the netroots site.
Rev. Osagyefo Sekou - founded the Interfaith Worker Justice Center for New Orleans and Clergy & Laity Concerned about Iraq
Duke 1676 - In 2005 he founded Migra Matters – Progressive Immigration Reform
Nwamaka Agbo - As a first generation Nigerian, Nwamaka Agbo did not actively begin pursuing her interest in civil rights and social justice issues
Safir Ahmed - Among the books he has edited are "Crashing the Gate" by Markos Moulitsas and Jerome Armstrong, "How Would a Patriot Act?"
Rocky Delgadillo - Los Angeles City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo became the highest-ranking Latino to win citywide office in more than 100 years when he was elected in 2001
Winona Flying Earth - Winona Flying Earth is Co-Chair of the Board of Directors of Bridges Against Domestic Violence (BADV), Mobridge, South Dakota,
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say any one of these folks would only be at a KKK meeting as victims, and not as members. - muckemuck, on 07/22/2008, -13/+21Funny.. Bill O' didn't mention that Bob Barr was at Netroots. Par for the course though since ignoring a third party candidate and keeping their name out of the news is a proven way to keep their polling numbers low. Little Willy needs to help keep Barr polling low otherwise it'll cut into the McCain votes.
- Shoebox639, on 07/22/2008, -3/+11Why does this ***** still have a job? Who in their right mind employs people like Bill'O, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Neil Bortz, Mike Gallagher, Michael Savage, Laura Ingrahm? This isn't journalism, it's a bunch of people with no political knowledge ranting their mouths off just because they have a TV/Radio program. What the ***** are their qualifications in journalism? Inside Edition, gimme a break.
note: I didn't name of liberal pundits because i was too lazy to look for them, but I'm sure they exist. The same goes for them as well. - More4, on 07/22/2008, -12/+20Bill-o the Clown does it again!
- SteaminTmann, on 07/22/2008, -8/+16Like a Klan gathering.... That means he'd love to go, right?
- rmmcclay, on 07/22/2008, -3/+11Bill is one of the megaphones of the Corporatist Right Wing. Keep in mind the power of persuasion this man has had on the American consciousness, its decisions and actions (and lack of actions).
How much blame can we put on O'Reilly for the state of the world. A lot.
As far as I can see, Bill and Rush have had an incredible amount of influence.
But then the question: does the media supply the demand, or create the demand?
As for Gore detractors. Please name your heroes. - orlyfactor, on 07/22/2008, -21/+28Why couldn't O'Reilly have the heart attack instead of Russert? This just reaffirms my belief that there is no god.
- byronm, on 07/22/2008, -3/+10Care to back up your ignorance with anything substantial? Or is thinking above you?
- briyando, on 07/22/2008, -5/+12Lou Dobbs and Bill O'Reilly give cable a bad name from 7-9PM Eastern Time.
- mochaman, on 07/22/2008, -14/+20This guy is such a looney and so far to the right that, even if you happen not to be a tree hugging secular liberal, he would still call you KKK.
- treehugger87, on 07/22/2008, -2/+8The only "clueless sheep" out there are the ones buying the oil industry line that climate change is a hoax.
- pyroyetti420, on 07/22/2008, -1/+7F**k IT, WE'LL DO IT LIVE
- MoneyShot, on 07/22/2008, -4/+10Oreilly not a political expert, he's a salesman. His job is to sell advertising. Why do we need to keep collectively gasping every time he says something moronic? You don't actually think he believes everything he spews, do you? Like Paris Hilton, he thrives on attention since that's how he makes money. If we just ignored these people, they'd eventually have to find a new line of work.
- trilok, on 07/22/2008, -4/+9Seriously, who still cares wtf this guy thinks? Why are his childish and idiotic tantrums still news here?
- chase001, on 07/22/2008, -0/+5That's my grandpa you're talking about! Gitmo! Off with your head!- Bush
- PeterBassett, on 07/22/2008, -4/+8First of all. I'm not American, I don't really know who Tony snow is, what he is supposed to have done or what was said about him.
Can I just raise a point about "Any people that would say hateful things about a person after he/she died are the scum of the earth...."
Don't talk daft. The phrase "Don't speak ill of the dead" is generally reserved for those who had gained respect while alive. If this Tony Snow failed to do that there is no point sugar coating him now.
A spade is a spade. - zacharytelschow, on 07/22/2008, -0/+4Barr supported Gore in saying that we should eliminate all carbon dioxide producing energy in the next ten years. Not exactly a Libertarian idea. Not mentioning him would keep his polling numbers up much better than broadcasting that little nugget.
- MediaCrisis, on 07/22/2008, -3/+7Bill O'Reilly is the dark side of the first amendment. Everything he says is ridiculous, he spouts offensive terminology every time he can't find his name on the front page of a newspaper (god forbid he use the intertubes!), probably all in the name of ratings.
The network must think he's a genius: He's got conservatives humping his gospel and liberals waiting for him to say something stupid, so he's still on the air.
I'm just kidding, FOX news doesn't think! - muckemuck, on 07/22/2008, -0/+4I'd say most of the people who are supporting Barr would agree with him. We do need to move to solar, wind, etc.. and soon. The government is too broke to pay for it so the Libertarians shouldn't be too worried about that.. lol.. and from what I've seen the Libertarians aren't supporting Barr anyway (in fact most of the people I've seen bashing Barr are supposedly Libertarians) so they shouldn't factor into this at all.
So basically - the polling numbers are NOT from the support of Libertarians, so getting his name out even if he did step over the line of Libertarian perfectness would only help his polling. - MrNexus, on 07/22/2008, -0/+4That's a disgrace to Howard Stern.
- byronm, on 07/22/2008, -5/+9some people still hate hitler after his death.. just because someone dies doesn't mean you have to give up the very hatred against him that he justified - either blatantly or blissfully ignorant of his own actions.
Sure, cancer sucks. he died way to early and personally i had nothing against him, i'm sure he could have been a nice guy. But the lies, deceit and hatred he supported - the administration he spoke for and the company that supported him through all that doesn't deserve on iota of support and quite frankly deserves the hatred it gets.
sorry, but when people are dead set on destroying a nation, hate is just the human side of it. - Vet4Peace, on 07/22/2008, -0/+3LOL
- Elranzer, on 07/22/2008, -1/+4Because he's the Grand Wizard.
- WTFppl, on 07/22/2008, -6/+9If you can find Billbo in public, please throw goats blood or pigs blood on him and tell him to have a ***** day...That will be all!
- bbqsalad, on 07/22/2008, -1/+4Scary.
