- inactive, on 10/11/2008, -41/+64No way, how is this possible I mean Barry Hussein Obama just said what last week he has had nothing to do with acorn.
- ThinkOutTheBox, on 10/12/2008, -6/+25He wont he will say we need to stick to the issues. And come up with excuses as to why they don't want to talk about the issues.
- skmckinny, on 10/12/2008, -44/+63He eating, drinking and bathing in this ACORN thing.
Communism/Socialism is his agenda. That's what te community organizers are about.
Save Freedom and Democracy in the US. Vote McCain-Palin. - Justmy02, on 10/12/2008, -34/+51While community organizations are probably a GOOD thing, ACORN is definitely NOT! And to have BHO say it would help him shape his 'agenda' tells me everything I need to know...his agenda is NOT good for America, nor does it have the best interest of America in mind!
- msmary67, on 10/12/2008, -34/+49It's going to be interesting to see how he tries to deny this one!!
- Troy64, on 10/12/2008, -9/+23I think community organizer is a politically correct word for community agitator,
- rfburnhertz, on 10/12/2008, -9/+22Let's just hope this gets out in a big way and that it actually means something to America. I fear it will not get out and that a good many Americans won't give a crap anyway.
Here's hoping I am wrong. - politicalmuse, on 10/12/2008, -37/+50he'll just smooth talk his way out of this and give his supporters orgasms
- ivanvivian, on 10/12/2008, -12/+24Of course he will. He does it all time. He has mastered the ability to attack and then blame the opposition for the tactic.
- Echota, on 01/05/2009, -28/+37Buried as another smear.
You should be worried that McCains ignorant VP choice was Found Guilty on Abuse Of Power! - savvymom, on 10/12/2008, -18/+26gurrhh!! to all who think Obama is a socialist/communist/alien/muslim and has some secret past. You guys need to wake up, He's the man that could save this country!
- ladygracetx, on 10/12/2008, -34/+42There is no way Obama can deny this video, no way.
- FENWAYFREAK, on 10/12/2008, -31/+39If this makes it to the front page it is a miracle.
- niradg, on 10/12/2008, -19/+27LOL. You Republicans remind of the Japanese soldiers who got left on islands after WW2 and were never told that the war was over.
- inactive, on 10/12/2008, -13/+20The ∅bamination's lies, hypocrisy and corruption are the foundation of both candidate and campaign. This should come as no surprise to anyone familiar with the left.
- JenniferInMO, on 10/12/2008, -4/+10In just four years as a U.S. Senator, Obama has sponsored 427 bills, and authored 152 bills. Of the bills he sponsored which became law:
*2 addressed foreign policy (promote relief, security, and democracy in the Congo; and develop democratic institutions in areas under Palestinian control)
*3 addressed public health (improve mine safety; increased breast cancer research funding; reduce preterm delivery and complications, reduce infant mortality)
*2 addressed openness and accountability in government (strengthening the Freedom Of Information Act; full disclosure of all entities receiving federal funds)
*2 addressed national security (extend terrorist risk insurance; amend the Patriot Act)
*1 addressed the needs of the Armed Forces (wave passport fees to visit graves, attend memorials/funerals of veterans abroad)
He wrote a book which comprehensively expresses his philosophy of governing "The Audacity of Hope." McCain has had ghost writers write books about his experiences and about him, not what his vision for the country is. No where can you find a comprehensive expression of McCain's vision for leading America. If his campaign is any indication, it looks like he plans to wing it.
Obama's plans are clearly and comprehensively set out on his web site and each are supported by a number of respected experts on both sides of the political table.
McCain's plans are sketchy summaries of ideology which indicate his belief that current policy works and at times are even more extreme.
I have answered your question. Please respond in kind. Please tell me how you think McCain would do better. - jimchap, on 10/12/2008, -3/+9you are a racist, illiterate, dumber than a sack of McCains, *****.
and that's the nicest thing I could think of.
Get used to saying "President Obama" - inactive, on 10/12/2008, -16/+22So Obama said that community organizers would help shape the agenda if he gets elected president. I'm failing to see how this is something bad. It's simply more made up hysteria about a made up story by people who are supporting a candidate that has nothing to offer.
- swrostmore, on 10/12/2008, -9/+15ACORN has been the victim of registration fraud, not the perpetrator. They are mandated by law to turn in all registrations they recieve, even suspicious ones.
- ozel01, on 10/12/2008, -9/+14I would, but a vote for anyone but McCain means Barry goes to the White House by default.
- BullSenor, on 10/12/2008, -3/+8A few questions:
1.) Why is it necessary for ACORN to help people register to vote? What obstacles is ACORN helping people to overcome?
2.) What laws are requiring ACORN to submit every registration form? In every courthouse I've done research in (several) there is a prominent sign declaring "It is illegal to knowingly file a fraudulent document"
3.) What is ACORN doing to improve it's quality-control system? A Google search of ACORN and voter fraud charges yeilds a list so long it's obvious something not working. - warrenterr, on 10/12/2008, -12/+17Why are republicans hating so much this year? seriously. ACORN is all about helping people, better funding for communities. Maybe they're guilty on trying to cheat their choice of candidate into office (maybe since they're under investigation), but that would still be playing guilt by association and we would be back to the whole Ayers issue.
If this blows up, all it will do is get Republicans to hate ACORN and community organizers, and call them terrorists, which isn't good for anyone. It will also widen the gap between mccain and obama. I mean really, mccain should start exlpaining how buying all the houses and selling them back will help the economy. - tripandfall06, on 10/12/2008, -13/+18About Acorn:
"ACORN's priorities have included: better housing and wages for the poor, more community development investment from banks and governments, and better public schools. ACORN pursues these goals through demonstration, negotiation, legislation, and voter participation".
Wow, how terrible.
About the controversy: "During investigations, ACORN has publicly supported the investigations of employees submitting fraudulent voter registration information, has fired them if evidence supports the charges, and has stated its concern with false information on registration forms. Officials have stated that ACORN has been cooperative in these investigations."
Now, unlike some (vice presidential candidates) who don't even cooperate with the investigations, ACORN ITSELF BROUGHT THE VOTER FRAUD PROBLEM TO THE ATTENTION OF THE AUTHORITIES. Here's another example of the hatemongering rightwing fear machine trying to make a tenuous Obama "association" into a crime.
I hope President Obama talks to REAL PEOPLE during his administration. I hope REAL PEOPLE shape his presidency, unlike the smoke'n'mirrors logic of the Bush administration. Barack Obama is a man of diverse backgrounds, who has lived in every economic bracket, who UNDERSTANDS WHAT ITS LIKE TO BE A REAL PERSON.
John McCain and his Beer Empiress can go take his seven houses and shove them. - dvrchatter, on 10/12/2008, -10/+15Unfortunately for Hussein, both voter fraud and subprime mortgages are big issues.
1 to 2 odds this whole topic of conversation is "raaaaaaaaaaacist." - onthetrail, on 10/12/2008, -33/+38Obama is not the one for US!!!!!!
- BullSenor, on 10/13/2008, -0/+4Finally an answer remotely worth noting (Been asking a couple of days now). However, if they don't ask for party affiliation how would they know which forms to throw away?
- JenniferInMO, on 10/12/2008, -7/+11No, the men who will ruin our country are still in office and they already have. McCain is one of them, but without any integrity or leadership skills.
- JenniferInMO, on 10/12/2008, -6/+10Thank God. If he was one of you I would have to reconsider my support for him.
- Lcdtv, on 10/12/2008, -34/+38This is evidence of the corruption behind Obama's campaign is filled with lies and deceits. I'll doubt the liberal left wingers from Huffpo and Dailykos will let this become front page. It's truly sad. I use to come to digg.com for informative news, but now it's just another liberal agenda site.
- kevinw1028, on 10/12/2008, -20/+24I don't see anything wrong with inviting feedback from American citizens. Some of you people are so blind and ignorant.
- nemo001, on 10/12/2008, -2/+6Where, like most things which show Obama's lack of credibility, it will be ignored.
- inactive, on 10/12/2008, -0/+4You may have heard of the PUMAs. They have the body of a jungle cat and the head of an idiot.
Don't hate on Obama because Hillary was not an effective leader in her campaign. She lost not because Obama is nefarious, but because she is not an effective leader. - LadyAmerica, on 10/12/2008, -2/+6Look at the large backdrop on the stage, it says "Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now" - i.e. A.C.O.R.N. This was an ACORN event - audience full of ACORN "community organizers."
This is bad because he's definitely linked here to ACORN, and he's guaranteeing these radical Marxists access to the Whitehouse: Obama: "Yes, let me even say, before I even get inaugurated, during the transition, we're going to be calling all of you in to help us shape the agenda. We're going to be having meetings all across the country with community organizations so that you have input into the agenda for the next presidency of the United States of America." Video. The media better start covering this. The people of America deserve to know what a corrupt fraud Obama is. STOP covering for him MSNBC and CNN!!!
- ThinkOutTheBox, on 10/13/2008, -0/+4I'd love to see a fair election myself too, I despise cheating I haven't ever cheated in my life even when given the chance. I'm a firm believer when you cheat your only cheating yourself.
The fact is that it is still illegal and just because one side does it and doesn't get caught doesn't give grounds for the other side just cause because they think they are guilty. Assuming they are guilty and acting like they are does not go with innocent until proven guilty. If you commit election fraud and get caught then you know the consequences.
It just goes to my original sentiment both sides cheat the winner is who cheats the best. Besides the general election doesn't really matter if we vote McCain in and the electoral college decides that they want Obama and chooses Obama there really isn't anything we can do about it. - lostlyrics, on 10/12/2008, -6/+98) "palling with terrorists"
became a boomerang too.

http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/Palin_Found_Guil ... - runCMD, on 10/12/2008, -3/+6Kevin - it's not the citizens that is at issue - it's the corrupt organization that is. A logical and reasonable mind cannot refute this - to do so would make you seem like ... like ... like an Obama supporter.
- ozel01, on 10/12/2008, -29/+32For those who want the media to cover it, send it to the news organizations with the link to the video and demand coverage. Enough people demanding coverage will get them to do something, but it will take huge numbers doing it.
- Kirly, on 10/12/2008, -0/+3buried for pure unreadability!
dude, use a little punctuation. - inactive, on 10/13/2008, -1/+4Well, Obama said it without a single gun held to his head so we're forced to believe that yes, he meant what he said or no, he's a lying piece of dung.
Either way, he's screwed and so is this country if this empty suit Daley Chicago machine politician with absolutely NO executive experience of ANY kind who's a Leftist Liberal and a Socialist gets into the White House. - inactive, on 10/12/2008, -6/+9ACORN, from the Winter 2003 "Social Policy" magazine:
Obama started building the base years before. For instance, ACORN noticed him when he was organizing on the far south side of the city with the Developing Communities Project. He was a very good organizer. When he returned from law school, we asked him to help us with a lawsuit to challenge the state of Illinois’ refusal to abide by the National Voting Rights Act, also known as motor voter. Allied only with the state of Mississippi, Illinois had been refusing to allow mass-based voter registration according to the new law. Obama took the case, known as ACORN vs. Edgar (the name of the Republican governor at the time) and we won. ***Obama then went on to run a voter registration project with Project VOTE in 1992 that made it possible for Carol Moseley Braun to win the Senate that year. Project VOTE delivered 50,000 newly registered voters in that campaign (ACORN delivered about 5000 of them).***
***Since then, we have invited Obama to our leadership training sessions to run the session on power every year, and, as a result, many of our newly developing leaders got to know him before he ever ran for office. Thus it was natural for many of us to be active volunteers in his first campaign for State Senate and then his failed bid for U.S. Congress in 1996. By the time he ran for U.S. Senate, we were old friends.*** - inactive, on 10/12/2008, -37/+40BANG!! This idiot is BUSTED!! This needs to be a McCain campaign video just to prove to America they are supporting a liar, an extremist, a Marxist and a THIEF! If the friggin' media was unbiased about this election, it would be all over CNN, FOX and MSNBC. The fact that they don't show it proves they are undoubtedly pro-Obama.
- inactive, on 10/12/2008, -1/+4Bad boy bad boy
Whatcha gonna do when they come for you? - inactive, on 10/13/2008, -0/+3Haven't you read that liberalism is a mental disorder?
The good news is that you can overcome it!
Keep a good thought. - inactive, on 10/12/2008, -4/+6What the hell are you talking about?
- ironhide, on 10/13/2008, -1/+3If I tell you, will you stay there?
- inactive, on 10/12/2008, -7/+9Pot meet kettle.
- Hillarysmygirl, on 10/12/2008, -3/+5not always there are community organizers who do good things. There are people who register people to vote without pushing parties are particular candidates. Some even get the Republican voice heard so people can make an educated choice. Not all community action groups are bad.
I personally think that unless you work for a campaign if you register people to vote you should not be activally pushing a party or candidate. That is just my humble opinion. - inactive, on 10/13/2008, -1/+3Must be that pesky intolerance for lies and liars. But that was just a lucky guess. I probably couldn't do it again in tens of milliseconds.
- inactive, on 10/13/2008, -0/+2And a little thought process would be nice.
