- diggeradoo, on 03/26/2008, -5/+211Hillary claims she says "millions of words a day" and she is exagerrating again!
According to Guineess, the World's fastest-talking man is England's Steve Woodmore, who clocked 637 words per minute. Assuming non-stop talking for 24 hours straight, that would be 917,280 words in a day. Far less than "millions of words a day".
Maybe Hillary should call Guinness? - nascentia, on 03/26/2008, -4/+113So Hillary will just go repeating any story that one of her advisers tells her, even when it's about her own life? Awesome.
- theNazz, on 03/26/2008, -2/+107I bet Hillary can beat 1 million words a day if you count all of her double-talk...
- uncutnyc, on 03/26/2008, -2/+87Watch the video and you'll see that she actually believes this really happened. Her voice is full of conviction, her description of the "events" is detailed and compelling. But of course it didn't happen. Which means that she's delusional. She's not lying, she's crazy.
- rajimoto, on 03/26/2008, -3/+86Please don't vote for this windbag. She is obviously the wrong person for the job.
- aldenhg, on 03/26/2008, -2/+63So her defense is "I say a lot of things"? That's a great platform to run on.
- techresearcher, on 03/26/2008, -2/+57"In a radio interview that aired Tuesday, Clinton said she wasn't worried about the incident hurting her credibility."
You mean whatever is left of it. - satyr9us, on 03/26/2008, -2/+53"It was an honest mis-statement of fact, which I made repeately and obsessively embellished over a period of several months... WHY ARE YOU PICKING ON ME?!"
- doctorfungi, on 03/26/2008, -4/+49Yeah but that's the worlds fastest talking "man". The average woman probably beats him with time to spare to cook dinner.
- rhabd0mancer, on 03/26/2008, -2/+43"-- so if I misspoke, that was just a misstatement," she said.
Hillary Clinton, master of the conditional non-apology. - ZandorMonkeyBoy, on 03/26/2008, -2/+37She's a pathological liar just like her husband. She could tell the same story to a lie detector and it wouldn't even wiggle. They believe their own crap.
- alucinor, on 03/26/2008, -2/+27Yeah well I speak a million billion words a day! That means hundreds of thousands of lies I can't help just misspeaking their way right out of my mouth!
- diggeradoo, on 03/26/2008, -2/+25Uh, ya think? I'm pretty sure I was using sarcasm to begin with.
- AriaStar, on 03/26/2008, -2/+23Hilary is the Huckabee of the Democratic party. She's killed her chances and is now just entertainment.
- jbdobd, on 03/26/2008, -2/+22wait... the plane was making evasive maneuvers? ...or she was?
- 3tcp, on 03/26/2008, -2/+21Well, that's comforting. She talks so much every day that she can't be expected to remember what is or isn't a lie. I'd rather have a president who's honest and knows when to stfu than one that yammers on and on out of some pathetic need for attention.
- actorboy, on 03/26/2008, -1/+18"She's not lying, she's crazy."
Yes, she was lying. And yes, she is crazy. - Carv, on 03/26/2008, -3/+19Since when did "misspoke" mean "lied"? Since when did "covered our heads from sniper fire and ran" mean "were told about sniper fire"?
- DephexTwin, on 03/26/2008, -0/+15Calling her that is an insult to Huckabee's name and reputation, quite honestly.
- snotrokit, on 03/26/2008, -2/+16Tonight she was on the news trying to shift focus and bringing up Rev. Wright, and how we can't choose family, but we can choose our pastors.
That's all she has? Is old Fox News crap? - wendelgee2, on 03/26/2008, -2/+14And Bush isn't really worried about his approval rating. And Cheney when asked about the 67% of Americans who do not support the war said "so." Because they honestly believe that things are only true if they say they're true.
And Obama was very concerned that this Wright issue would hurt him. He was quoted as saying so.
That's what we call honesty, folks. Honesty even when denying reality is politically advantageous. - OBDriftwood, on 03/26/2008, -0/+12I met a guy whose cousin's friend had an uncle whose boss's son was in Bosnia and he heard what sounded like a gunshot. Honest!
- iamtodd, on 03/26/2008, -2/+13Please begone already...
- snotrokit, on 03/26/2008, -2/+13Isn't it ironic, that all throughout this campaign, she has criticized Obama for being "just words" and "all talk" and in the end, it could be "just words" that bring her down. This time, they are her own.
- SeanRoss, on 03/26/2008, -0/+10I still dont understand the point of mentioning ducking sniper fire in the first place... Does that make her more eligible for presidency? If thats the case, I know over a million other americans who are far more eligible for the job.
- tigerduck, on 03/26/2008, -2/+12Why not repeat her advisers stories after all that's how she voted for the Iraq war - she believed her staff!
- inactive, on 03/26/2008, -0/+9She is pathological liar
- cranium, on 03/26/2008, -2/+11She's obviously mentally defective and has no business in the senate let alone the presidency.
- jaymzdean, on 03/26/2008, -5/+14Hillary,
Shut up, and go make me turkey pot pie. - inactive, on 03/26/2008, -2/+11And the circus act continues.
- hardcrocodile, on 03/26/2008, -1/+10Zing!
- omnithought, on 03/26/2008, -2/+11Well, with all those words floating around, it's gonna be hit and miss, ya know? This was just one o' them pesky misses, that's all! I take absolutely no responsibility for anything that comes out of my mouth. I'm only looking to be President, nothing big. Not like my words will matter or anything.
No, Hillary, you didn't "misspeak," you straight-up lied. - Scarfy, on 03/26/2008, -1/+9Well, that definitely worked the last two times.
- NoDrama, on 03/26/2008, -2/+10You gotta hope the person telling you if there are or are not snipers around doesn't mis-speak.
- alittleroy101, on 03/26/2008, -0/+8while doing some laundry to boot.
- mzx639, on 03/26/2008, -0/+8Just a misstatement?? It's called a lie.
- DephexTwin, on 03/26/2008, -1/+8I don't want to hear about Hillary's lair. It sounds dirty.
- MostLikelyWrong, on 03/26/2008, -0/+7I was told that she was shot at by Bosnian Snipers, and that turned out false...
- AriaStar, on 03/26/2008, -3/+9I think I figured out her game plan. I was in the kitchen (femi-nazi she is, she'd probably say a man should have made my cheese toast for me) thinking you can't help but almost admire her refusal to quit, despite looking like a major dumb-ass, and then thought that maybe this is what she wants, people to admire her drive.
Still, I can't wait until she loses and has to eat crow. I'll be glad to cook it for her. - wgpubs, on 03/26/2008, -0/+6This just keeps getting better and better! Has she blamed this on alien abduction yet???
- zebraz, on 03/26/2008, -0/+6Don't you just really love watching her squirm ?
- kev92486, on 03/26/2008, -0/+6I'm pretty sure I'd remember an event quite well if it involved me having to run for my life or risk a bullet from a sniper. The same goes for any other life or death situation. Wouldn't you?
- bmunichman, on 03/26/2008, -0/+6I'm Ron Burgundy?
- DeskFlyer, on 03/26/2008, -4/+10She needs to call Micro Machines.
- afx1, on 03/26/2008, -0/+6that guy was cool
- dollar0dot02, on 03/26/2008, -2/+8I am a Bosnian American and was there during the whole war, which ended in November 1996 - before H. Clinton's visit.
When Mrs Clinton came to Bosnia (1996) she landed in Tuzla. The airport at that time was under control of SFOR (Stabilization Forces) and to the best of my knowledge directly under control of USA troops.
Some of the news mentioned that Mrs Clinton was accompanied with Sheryl Crow.
FYI
Sheryl Crow did come to Bosnia during the war. She landed at the Sarajevo airport, whict was most likely under Serbian sniper fire and had to run to the UN armored vehicle. Her concert was a moral booster for the Sarajevan under the siege.
Just to let you know whose story Hillary is talking. - Kilometers, on 03/26/2008, -0/+6Says the person with the name "RepubOperative".
- xerxes714, on 03/26/2008, -0/+6Have you no shame Hillary? I think we now know the answer to that for sure. I have to duck now-- Incoming missile's.
- h4mx0r, on 03/26/2008, -2/+8Clearly an alumni of Room 101.
- kev92486, on 03/26/2008, -0/+6That's the point of this. Most people who are aware of the possibility of sniper fire would likely attempt to take some form of cover. Watch the video of her and you'll see that she, along with the rest of the 'welcoming party' act as if there's nothing to worry about whatsoever. She lied.
