- diggeradoo, on 04/11/2008, -6/+156Bill's lies just roll of his tongue, don't they?
1) "Hillary, one time late at night when she was exhausted, misstated and immediately apologized for it"
... uh, nope. Got that wrong. She told the story MULTIPLE times, in MULTIPE locations. And did NOT immediately apologize for it. First, she tried dispute what Sinbad say by giving her "now that's what happened" speech where she re-repeated the story. Then, she said she misspoke once because she was sleep-deprived. Then, she told a lame joke about it on Leno. At no time has she ever apologized for it. Ever.
2) "So they just abbreviated the arrival ceremony."
... uh, nope. Looked like a pretty leisurely stroll in ALL the clips that EVERYone has been showing.
3) "I think she was the first first lady since Eleanor Roosevelt to go into a combat zone."
...uh, nope. Guess Bill doesn't Digg, Google, or even read. The Clinton White House spun that story when Hillary went, and the press bought it back then. Since that time, turns out that Pat Nixon went before Hillary.
4) "And some of them when they're 60 they'll forget something when they're tired at 11:00 at night, too."
...uh, really? Is he really implying that Hillary had a 'senior moment'? When I'm 60, I hope I don't mistake a poem reading for dashing from snipe fire with my only child. If I do lose it that badly, PLEASE make sure that I am NOT allowed to be the President of the United States. - inactive, on 04/11/2008, -4/+54the clintons are not idiots. it's the people voting for them that are the real stupid ass idiots here.
- MindyB, on 04/11/2008, -3/+42The Clinton's just don't know when to stop! It's absolutely unbelievable! and what is worse are all those idiots out there who still think she is worthy of their vote.
I don't think they'd know what to do if they couldn't lie about anything. Why is the MSM giving them a break on all the lying that has been going on in the campaign! - basefx, on 04/11/2008, -0/+27"And some of them when they're 60 they'll forget something when they're tired at 11:00 at night, too."
Wow, Isn't she the same one who came out with that stupid ad asking who'll pick up the red phone at 3 in the morning? Here she's basically saying her old ass will be asleep right through the ringing. - TheThirdLevel, on 04/11/2008, -1/+28"I did not have sexual relations with that woman."
He's given it a shot before. - parallax7d, on 04/11/2008, -1/+26A Clinton LIE!!!???? How dare you, I say good day to you sir!
- chlupululuu, on 04/11/2008, -0/+18im not sure why this is a surprise... its not like either of them really have a history of telling the truth, i mean the man was impeached for lying
- Pherdnut, on 04/11/2008, -1/+15Note to Bill: Since your first campaign in '92, this internet thing really took off. It makes fibbing in public a real bitch.
- parallax7d, on 04/11/2008, -5/+18Yes me too. And by "see the skeletons in his closet" I mean "become president of the USA".
By the way, check out McCain's closet some time. - franklymister, on 04/11/2008, -2/+14Actually, Rockets - Hillary is not Bill. Like any president, Clinton had his flaws, but he was a better choice than the Republican. The reason we're against Hillary isn't because we've turned Republican, it's because she has.
- jforjools, on 04/11/2008, -3/+15Wasn't this a bad enough story already?
Do we have to pile on MORE LIES????? - tas08, on 04/11/2008, -1/+12I so despise when supposedly reliable news organizations like freaking ABC publish stories with basic grammatical mistakes like that Bill Clinton "spent and hour going over..." Doesn't that strike anyone else as lazy, poor editing, I mean it's ABC News?!
- gannondork, on 04/11/2008, -3/+12He also said that he didn't have "sexual relations" with Lewinsky. I trust him about as much as I trust any politician.
- evil-doer, on 04/11/2008, -2/+11are you loyal to bush?
no? youre a hypocrite.
yes? youre an idiot. - jetboyterp, on 04/11/2008, -3/+12It's a vast, right-wing conspiracy!
- Aorawn, on 04/11/2008, -0/+9One internet for you, sir.
- ashwinmudigonda, on 04/11/2008, -0/+9What I don't get is how can you misspeak while reading a speech? don't get it at all.
- actorboy, on 04/11/2008, -0/+8I've said it before and I'll say it again -- perhaps it's time we stopped accepting lies from politicians.
- cheezintern, on 04/11/2008, -1/+9why is everyone surprised about Bill lying? did everyone forget he went on national TV a lied directly to the entire nation. The Clintons have zero credibility, what-so-ever. No news here.
- franklymister, on 04/11/2008, -2/+9You conservatives also spent several million dollars of our money on legal wild goose chases, all so you could feign moral outrage at a blowjob. You conservatives also ***** up the economy every time we let you into the White House, and we have to elect Democrats to clean up your mess.
You conservatives also backed a draft-dodger who lied about his drug use, lied about his military record, lied to get us into war, and prances around like a third-world dictator while ignoring the Constitution.
You conservatives have dragged our nation's reputation through the mud, so that it's safest to sew a Canadian flag on your backpack if you're traveling overseas.
You conservatives promote family values while your congressmen are busy diddling their male interns, talk about patriotism while your corporations pass American jobs off to the lowest foreign bidder, talk about national security while Cheney's mercenaries endanger US lives in the Middle East and gouge the taxpayers for billions.
We might not like Hillary Clinton (R - NY), but that doesn't mean we're becoming conservatives. - baronsmeg, on 04/11/2008, -1/+8If she Misspoke at 11 at night because she was tired, whats gonna happen when she answers that phone at 3 O'clock. World War 3 here we come!
(Sarcasm) - Pillage, on 04/11/2008, -1/+8Didn't let me Edit in the Quote about when she was asked about what her mother said:
"Well sir, I think that my mother’s on record as having talked about this and I support what she said. I mean, I was there as well and I’m so honored that I was there."
Our lil Clinton is all grown up... - franklymister, on 04/11/2008, -2/+9I think it's disgusting how he drags General Clark down with Hillary.
That story that he alludes to, where General Clark tried to save several people whose vehicle had slid off of a cliff - was one that the General himself tried not to talk about, but the Clintons kept wanting to bring up because it made a good "war story." (Bill Clinton even manages to get the story wrong and lie in that one short sentence - it wasn't the "safe way" - Clark was under actual sniper fire at the time, unlike "The H Bomb" Hillary)
General Wesley Clark is a great man, and a great soldier, and I hope he doesn't suffer for his loyalty to his former commander in chief. If only he could see how Clinton just thinks of him as a prop. - LordVance, on 04/11/2008, -1/+8"isn't because we've turned Republican, it's because she has."
God I wish I could digg you up more. - franklymister, on 04/11/2008, -0/+7Excuse me, sir, I think you dropped your tinfoil hat.
If you'll just wait over here, your local John Birch Society handler will come by and help you find your way back to the trailer park real soon. - franklymister, on 04/11/2008, -2/+8You're misunderstanding the distinction between a liberal and a partisan.
Partisans are people who hate Bush or hate Clinton because they're on the "other side." I'm a liberal - when Bill Clinton was governing like a liberal, I liked him, and when he wasn't, I didn't. I didn't like "don't ask don't tell," and I didn't like NAFTA. I did like a lot of other things he did, but lately he's been supporting his Republican wife, and it's changing the way a lot of us see him.
Loyalty is for dogs. I prefer to think. - inactive, on 04/11/2008, -2/+8"I did not have sexual relations with that woman."
-Bill Clinton - topgigmedia, on 04/11/2008, -2/+8You forgot that it depends on what the definition of "is", is.
- graddatadda, on 04/11/2008, -1/+7"There are weapons of mass destruction"
-Bush - oselznick, on 04/11/2008, -0/+6More like a vast wrong-wing conspiracy!
- JulyZerg, on 04/11/2008, -1/+6Buried for worshiping Ron Paul...
- randomstupid, on 04/11/2008, -3/+8you guys need a computer to run your country
- ishdawa, on 04/11/2008, -0/+5damn troll
- ishdawa, on 04/11/2008, -0/+5they'll bring him a nice white coat. he can hug himself!
- Drahkar, on 04/11/2008, -6/+11He realized that Bush can get away with just ignoring the truth so he's giving it a test.
- rdoger6424, on 04/11/2008, -0/+5And now he's stooped to this.
- Aorawn, on 04/11/2008, -1/+6I don't know if America can deal with another president having senior moments with frequency.
- Aorawn, on 04/11/2008, -0/+5Come on, we all know he's only supporting her ***** campaign so he can sleep in the bed again instead of the couch.
- rand0mm0nkey, on 04/11/2008, -1/+6Nah, its just that some people can change their opinions.
- DiggLive, on 04/11/2008, -0/+4MSNBC has been exposing the Clinton camp's lies for a while. It's better than any other channel and it's the only one I watch. Hillary supporters call that channel "for Obama", but I call it "exposing the truth". They simply don't want to believe it.
- Deveak, on 04/11/2008, -4/+8come on people it simple: No more Clinton's, no more Bush's!
- chlupululuu, on 04/11/2008, -0/+4we could call it skynet
- geekee, on 04/11/2008, -1/+5"Yes, it's gotten that far. Bill Clinton is now claiming that Hillary misspoke "late at night", "once", and immediately corrected herself,"
Wow, blows the 3am theory out of the water. I don't think I want her to be the one answering the phone at 3am late at night affects her judgment. - Arcan, on 04/11/2008, -0/+4Personally, I thought the little girl was a much bigger threat.
Did you not see the video? Even Hillary admitted what she said was false (i.e. "misspoken"). - awills, on 04/11/2008, -1/+5I think probably a lot of us were kids...
- Phoenix462, on 04/11/2008, -1/+5***** off? Thank you.
- wacomwacoff, on 04/11/2008, -0/+4And if you sail into the sunset, you'll fall off the edge of the flat earth, too.
What the hell are you talking about, again? - Aitese, on 04/11/2008, -0/+3It's like a habit for this family
- grinchdec23, on 04/11/2008, -0/+3jabberwolf ... you must be joking ?
- Maver1c, on 04/11/2008, -0/+3Abraham Lincoln.
