- inactive, on 12/03/2008, -6/+107Jail time would be appropriate I believe for a traitor like Novak. Why is he still allowed to walk the streets?
- shupy, on 12/04/2008, -5/+98Yeah, there's a right wing patriot for you.
Me first, the hell with everyone else. - cg4et, on 12/04/2008, -4/+83It is a travesty to justice that this man did not do jail time.
- pickleprince, on 12/04/2008, -6/+79Pardon my French here, but:
***** you, Novak! - dano333333, on 12/04/2008, -1/+62Man, Novak is a douche. This isn't just about Valerie Plame , but about the safety of all C.I.A. field agents and the integrity of their covers. Oh and by the way Bob, you can stop with the comb over. We all know that you're bald.
- winstonsmith303, on 12/04/2008, -1/+57Aren't we supposed to hang this guy or something?
- MadN, on 12/04/2008, -0/+54So, he confessed to an act of Treason during a time of War?
And he shows no remorse; in fact, he says "I'd do it again"
Can I be a member of the firing squad, please? - iDragonFly, on 12/04/2008, -1/+46Just look at that ole geezer.
His face is etched with a lifetime of spitefulness. - jpsoraire, on 12/04/2008, -0/+36"Oh yeah, Reilly? Well, the Jerk Store called, and they're running out of you."
- bffoley, on 12/04/2008, -0/+35I like how he says he'd do it again because it got criticized for doing it. I read an article shortly after the whole Plame thing exploded saying that even Novak admits the reason he's such a giant douchebag was because he was picked on so much during his school days by people he perceived to be "liberal".
Nice to see that so close to the end of his life, he still hasn't realized that there isnt some giant anti-Novak liberal conspiracy and that maybe people think he's a ***** because he acts like one. - rald84, on 12/04/2008, -0/+34he doesn't. he drives a big black car and runs over pedestrians. true story, happened this summer IIRC.
- morcheeba, on 12/04/2008, -0/+31Yep. Black corvette. After hitting a homeless man (who was splayed out on the windshield), he tried to drive away... until he was confronted by a bicyclist who called 911.
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/07/23/politics ... - WraTH017, on 12/04/2008, -0/+30I wouldn't be surprised if he said something similar about the guy he ran over a while ago. You know, the one where he fled the scene.
- staffa, on 12/04/2008, -0/+25I was drunk one night and mindlessly spinning the chamber of my revolver, I sorta recall removing some bullets. To this day I don't know if I got them all, but when I aimed it at my head, my friend laughed. He stopped when I aimed it at him. When I pulled the trigger, it was a mess, he had puked all over the place. To this day he does not speak to me. But I didn't hurt my former friend, nothing happened. If I had it all over to do again, ***** him, I would. Just because there is a chance that he might end up dead from my action's doesn't mean I shouldn't do it again. After all, he was fine the last time.
- dano333333, on 12/04/2008, -0/+24Yes they did, to Novak who printed it in his column.
- kenjih, on 12/04/2008, -6/+29God doesn't like ugly Bob. IF you really have brain cancer - perhaps it's your karma for being such a hateful and ugly soul.
- Speed, on 12/04/2008, -0/+22There is a difference between free speech and releasing confidential information to harm a person.
- cawpin, on 12/04/2008, -0/+22You don't have the right to put somebody else as risk of being killed.
- samyoungguitar, on 12/04/2008, -1/+21TRAITOR
- gernblansted, on 12/04/2008, -0/+20geauxtig3rs: The desk job was a cover. She was an undercover agent and part of an intelligence network which, once she was outed, was broken to pieces. Multiple CIA front companies and CIA assets, including informants, were all exposed too. Exactly how much money and how many lives the exposure cost (if any) is classified - the CIA is doing whatever it can to limit the damage to the United States. The damage was likely not trivial.
- grapesofbaath, on 12/04/2008, -1/+20In the "real America", Bob Novak is an American hero whose legacy will live forever.
I'm glad I live in the fake America, where Bob Novak is a douchebag with brain cancer. - adiyo011, on 12/04/2008, -1/+20Are you an idiot? That put HER, her FAMILY, and the cover of other agents at stake. Because yeah, that's nothing.
- fmello, on 12/04/2008, -1/+18Why wasn't he tried for treason?
- Fogdelune, on 12/04/2008, -0/+17He didn't hurt Valerie Plame??? How about the intel she was working on the Iran nuclear program? How about all the contacts that the US have now LOST who could have given GOOD information on matters TRULY involving US national security because this dickweed outed her? Just because a journalist has the information doesn't mean a story should run.
- inactive, on 12/04/2008, -1/+17He always looks like a bitter, spiteful character, straight off the pages of a Charles Dickens novel to me.
- seltaeb4, on 12/04/2008, -0/+16Yeah, this is the same pig who ran over an 86-year-old pedestrian with his Corvette last July in DC and fled the scene.
Wonder if he'd do that again, too?
(Do we really have to ask?) - treed, on 12/04/2008, -0/+15Seinfeld
- inactive, on 12/04/2008, -1/+16Yeah, she was undercover and Novak ruined her career. Even worse, he outed the entire brass plate company, likely leading to the deaths of several of their foreign contacts and perhaps killing some of our covert agents as well.
Of course, they weren't working on anything that important -- just Iranian nuclear counter-proliferation.
If this country gets hit with a terrorist nuke, Robert Novak will bear a good bit of the blame. The man is a national disgrace, as is anyone who tries to cover for him. - firesphotons, on 12/04/2008, -0/+15God said he'd give you a tumor again too Bob.
- omgTHEPATRIOTS, on 12/04/2008, -1/+16nothing, except the iranian counterproliferation program being compromised to allow Dick Cheney a reason to rattle sabers on Iran with bogus intelligence
- revscat, on 12/04/2008, -1/+15Um, yes she ***** was. The *only* people who claimed otherwise were the talk radio nutjobs. Every (*every*) discovery that came out of the proceedings proved time and time again that yes, she was undercover when she was outed.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valerie_Plame#Referen ...
Read the references. - morningmatters, on 12/04/2008, -0/+13Well, Novek did name his memoir "Prince of Darkness". This guy is evil and he is proud of it.
- flannelback, on 12/04/2008, -0/+13Too bad it's not like the movies, where the secret agent shows up and caps you for pulling ***** like this.
- Davegfx, on 12/04/2008, -2/+14I saw the title, and my first thought was "what a dick". Funny that that's the first comment.
- CommonSense2k8, on 12/04/2008, -4/+16Brain Cancer is nothing I would wish on a normal person... but in Novak's case....
- inactive, on 12/04/2008, -1/+13I bet he could load his corvette up with rifles and ride up the the white house running over bicyclists while snorting cocaine, threaten to kill Obama, and STILL not go to jail.
- Headinawheel, on 12/04/2008, -1/+13Right, because it's totally "Fair Game" to out CIA Covert Ops. You know, the undercover type who serve in Belgium and Athens and deal with foreign agents on trying to prevent them from attaining nuclear weapons.
Right, that's not harmful at all, and Novak should get a pulitzer for his journalistic skills.
/s (Just in case I couldn't show how utterly stupid you really are) - hinomura, on 12/04/2008, -0/+11Not pardoning my french: Nique-toi!, Novak. Tu pute. Suce mon zizi.
- revscat, on 12/04/2008, -0/+10You know, BOB, sometimes it's ok to say "I ***** up." Sometimes, say when you commit high treason, it's even appropriate.
People who don't do that are dicks and deserve all the hatred they get. - mrseptic, on 12/04/2008, -0/+10How?
- oboshoe, on 12/04/2008, -2/+12I need to take a break.
I read that as "I would do Valerie Plame again" - clone206, on 12/04/2008, -0/+10Hi. My name is Robert Novak, and I'm a total tool.
- jodokast, on 12/04/2008, -1/+10He's just bitter because his face is synonymous with "fugly."
- dha07030, on 12/04/2008, -1/+10I thought Cheney and company outed her.
- treed, on 12/04/2008, -0/+9If I Recall Correctly
- davewashere, on 12/04/2008, -1/+10Wasn't the fake business that Plame worked for compromised when Novak outed her? Novak didn't just put Plame in jeopardy, but her entire network. Informants that were known to have close ties to the "business" Plame worked at were put in a sticky situation when it was revealed that the business was a sham run by the CIA. Novak was, is, and forever will be a douche. Fortunately for us, he'll be dead soon -- but probably not soon enough.
- billyfalconer, on 12/04/2008, -0/+9Yes, she really was undercover.
- mxmj, on 12/04/2008, -0/+9Send him hunting with Cheney
