- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -13/+51Now that had me laughing out loud. How about arresting him and hanging the ***** for treason?
(Yes he is one of 8 people involved with the outing of an undercover CIA agent, so don't challenge me with already debunked far right wing talking points) - PATSCRU, on 10/10/2007, -1/+35If there's one thing that keeps me going in this cruel world, it's the justice of ironic situations like this.
- toddcat, on 10/10/2007, -1/+32Poor Novakula didn't get to go the talk-radio coffee klatch Bush had wecently. Nobody wikes Novakula.....waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
- tropican8, on 10/10/2007, -2/+32When you sell your soul to the Devil, he burns you anyway.
- slayerab, on 10/10/2007, -1/+23Umm you don't support the administration because they don't talk to you? Try I don't support the current administration because they do whatever they want regardless of what the rest of the country wants, then I'll have some sympathy for Mr. Novak.
- DimensionalPunk, on 10/10/2007, -1/+19I don't agree with the policies of this administration because they don't invite me to lunch anymore. Now that's journalism!
- RollFizzlebeef, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13I know of at least two conservative "columnists" who've been bragging that they just went to one of these meetings - Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck.
Novak should be happy he isn't associated with those two *****. Add President Dumbass to the mix and it's like the Justice League for morons. - spyd3rweb, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12not if they remember that they were scum back when they were supporting bush, and are still scum now.
- h0merg0mez, on 10/10/2007, -4/+14Because if you go against Bush, the public begins to like you...
- skyshock1, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9Dugg for Novakula.
- phaed, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8//I put on my robe and wizard hat
- JohnFrum, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8Mr. Novak,
Nietzsche called.
He left this message for you...
"when you stare persistently into an abyss, the abyss also stares into you."
suchaloon - sidewalksurfing, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7100% douchebag. that's all there is to it.
- Dumbledorito, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6I see; So one basis the slant of one's editorial blatherings on access? Nice to see the well-reasoned opinion there, Bob. Now please go back into your coffin and never come out again.
- LMControl, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5What shocks me is he's seems genuinely hurt and surprised. Oh well.... give your buddy Tim Russert a call, I'm sure he'll relate.
- sadelite, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6It is all a cover to fool the people . Novak is Bush's loyal bitch and he is trying to win the sympathy and trust of the people. Same way Bill o Reilly is by saying that he does'nt support the war anymore because it will make him sound "fair and balanced" in the eyes of the more than 80 % who don't support Bush's war. Both O' Reilly and Novak are part of Bush's propoganda machine.
- ShagratOfMordor, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5The bumbling ***** idiot who got the valerie plame investigation rolling toward an innocent party not welcome at the White House? Let me try to control my shock.
- toetagger, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4The Republican Revolution is unraveling. Whether it's congressman wanting to suck dick in a public restroom, Rush hooked on drugs, Evangelical leaders visiting male prostitutes, male prostitutes visiting the White House, outing CIA agents, Katrina, Rita, Iraq, losing Russia, losing Bin Laden, spending huge sums of tax payer dollars, borrowing from China... fwew! Fingers are getting tired! There's more!!!!
- Skip742, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3You're missing the whole point of this story. This just highlights the growing rift between conservatives and neocons within the Republican Party. If you don't understand that, you'll be missing the real stories during the Republican primaries upcoming. Conservatives have had it with the neo-con movement and with their wasteful wars. Watch and see as Rudy Giuliani gets his hat handed to him in Iowa and New Hampshire.
- OsakaWilson, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3This was a straightforward admission that Novak's support for Bush was bought by keeping him in the loop. He could have only stated it more clearly if I came right out and said, "I have no principles. I am a media whore who sold out myself and my country for something I didn't believe in."
- epiccollision, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4ah hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
- ShagratOfMordor, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Krugman is an *****. Even ask Krugman.
- ShagratOfMordor, on 10/10/2007, -3/+6Seems to me the patriotic thing to do after the 9/11 attacks was to out ALL of our intelligence service members so they had to be dismissed. Maybe the next batch would be competent!
- ColonelJessup, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I actually listened to the interview on NPR, there were some people calling in grilling him about the whole Plame fiasco. I never liked Novak, he is a very intelligent man, but he really is a douche.
Anyways, the last thing he siad on the interview was that even HE thought that this administration is too invasive, and the depth of their surveillance programs are much more intrusive than people are led to believe.
This has me worried, when even guys like Novak think that this administration is going too far. - 0xbadfood, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3You've got it all wrong. It's: When you sell your soul to the Devil, you get what you pay for.
- Pfhreak, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3"Seriously, why doesn't Novak act his age here?"
When has Novak ever acted his age? He's been throwing temper tantrums on air since before I was born! - NotAChickenHawk, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3So basically he is saying his support is for sale to whomever kisses his ass the most. That, and if he likes you he'll let you use him as a conduit for harming our national security for your own political interests.
- ichbinladen, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4I dugg for "coffee klatch."
... What? I took German. - GliTCH82, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Seriously, why doesn't Novak act his age here? Is this anymore than just whining about not being in the "in club"?
- williamdyer, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2As well it SHOULD worry you.
We need a true outsider as President. Someone who will be as shocked as we would be. - KhanneaSuntzu, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2That's ok, journalists should be outsiders, even the wingnuts. No reporter shouldn't be cozy with that White House scum.
- dynamojoe, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2 Novak put all the pieces together, knew what he had, and did it anyway. He should be rotting in prison with his terrorist buddies.
- dime, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3"I don't support the administration because I've been kicked out of their clique." Cry me a river, *****.
- BrandonMills, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Novak is a ***** on the pages of history. No amount of last minute "I'm sorry" BS is going to change that.
- DanH, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2are 800 news articles about kevin rose really diggworthy?
- Davede70, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1They don't like the smell of vinegar at the whitehouse anymore.
- amoirae, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1More like: What a maroon!
- jonlee, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I thought of BJ Novak
(Ryan from US Office) - havesometea, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1B-o-o h-o-o
- wageslaven, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Not exactly.
Bush Co. cutting off Novak was for the purpose of shoving the Plame affair down the memory hole. I know it. You know it. Novak ***** knows it too.
It amazes me that he'd say such things in public, if he ever had any credibility, he's surely lost it all know. The GOP has dumped him because he is too "complicating". - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1lemme get this straight....
1. Novak writes outs a CIA operative and causes the waste of millions of tax dollars on an investigation that lost Bush a cabinet member.
2. Bush cuts him off.
3. Novak is crying....
GAAWD what a pussy. I'd have cut him off, too. Treasonous prick! - diggitdawg, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1What a shame. Now he can't "out" another CIA operative. Waaaaaaah!
- Dumbledorito, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I think to act his age he needs to wear an onion in his belt (which was the fashion of the time).
- toddcat, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1You Dugg it.
- Nozzle, on 10/10/2007, -3/+4I think this is the first time I agree with the administration, Novak is trouble.
- crackedlogic, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Sounds like Bob Novak just took a ride on the wahhhmbulence.
- BrinsonBruno, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0When a fox preaches, take care of your geese.
- CourtesyFlush, on 10/10/2007, -4/+4Robert simply needs to keep his dick out of the mashed potatoes.
He'd find himself invited to a few more social affairs. - bkemper, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Novak == douche bag
