- tonicboy, on 02/25/2009, -1/+68The only thing that pisses me off about Scientology more than their whacko ideas is how they always manage to get the authorities on their side, on everything from tax status to police enforcement.
- anawnymoose, on 02/25/2009, -1/+50"Somebody some day will say 'this is illegal'.
By then be sure the orgs say what is legal or not."
L. Ron Hubbard, HCOPL 4 January 1966
Orgs = Scientology Organizations, or that lovely local building that tries to give you a "stress test" and sell you books. - Optimisticate, on 02/25/2009, -2/+42So now scientology can call in a "citizens arrest" and have the protesters arrested for reasons that are not even based on fact? How nice for them! What do they have a "compound" for? It sounds like Ruby Ridge or Waco. Creepy.
- jontalisman, on 02/25/2009, -1/+40Dugg and shared! I hope this incident will become another nail in the coffin of the "Church" of Scientology.
- inactive, on 02/25/2009, -2/+31Everyone has a price. Scientology has a lot of money.
- inactive, on 02/25/2009, -1/+26Tory Christman discussing what went down: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMxQdtE0Ps4
Yet again, $cientology stops free speech. This isn't really suprising, but it does enrage the inner humanitarian in me. Thanks for lighting up the fire that is Anonymous, we're chargin our lazers! - ThaDRD, on 02/25/2009, -1/+21suit up anon, they ***** with the Wise Beard Man
- mithrasinvictus, on 02/25/2009, -1/+19Scientology is not a religion, its a scam.
- inactive, on 02/25/2009, -1/+19I guess its time for Anon to nail these pricks again.
- asgardshill, on 02/25/2009, -1/+17I ju$t have to $¢rat¢h my head a$ I try to figure out why $¢ientology ha$ $u¢h great influen¢e with the authoritie$. It$ ju$t a ¢ontinuing my$tery to me.
- LilJimmyNordin, on 02/25/2009, -1/+17Isn't anyone outraged at the utter corruption of the local cops? The cops are there to protect all people equally, and they're clearly just doing the bidding of the Scifags. Obviously, they're just sitting there watching a small area of ground, waiting for someone to step into it so they can arrest them. Thank ***** I live in Canada where Anonymous and the cops get along just fine.
- AttackGypsy, on 02/25/2009, -1/+16Its obvious that Scientology has bought both the local cops and most of the Board of Supervisors. There's only one that voted no. And he is on record completely against this ordinance. Hell, Supervisor Stone failed to disclose both business relationships and campaign contributions from CoS's lawyers. He's been bought. He needs to be removed from office and prosecuted for bribery.
- MrTeQ, on 02/26/2009, -1/+12There used to be a golf course near Gold Base (Golden Era Productions).. they shut it down recently. I hit my ball over the fence into their facility. I just got near the fence and 4 guards on ATV's pulled up to observe.
They also invite all the local High schools to host their graduation dances at their facility every year. To my knowledge it's never been accepted.
They are trying to shut down the main access road (which is a main road in and out of Hemet), but as it stands now you can drive right through the middle of the place... if you don't mind being on 100 of 'their' cameras. - anawnymoose, on 02/25/2009, -2/+13It's kind of funny that you mentioned that. I'd like to read you a passage from a little ditty called "Message to Scientology"
"We acknowledge you as a serious opponent, and we are prepared for a long, long campaign. You will not prevail forever against the angry masses of the body politic. Your methods, hypocrisy, and the artlessness of your organization have sounded its death knell."
You're right, we've sure failed at that so far. It's not like Orgs everywhere are closing down, people are deserting by the hundreds and the media is no longer afraid to make fun of these guys. That would mean we were making some kind of progress!
Oh wait, it's exactly like that. I'd like to finish off with one more passage from the same ditty as before!
Knowledge is free.
We are Anonymous.
We are Legion.
We do not forgive.
We do not forget.
Expect us. - calbff, on 02/25/2009, -1/+12How come pressure is never put on the police when they aid groups like this? I don't see how this is ethical.
- Eurynom0s, on 02/25/2009, -2/+13You know, I don't like any religions at all, but at least most don't get physically violent as an apparent standard operating procedure. I mean, yeah, for instance you've got pedophile priests who you can indicate as initiating aggression towards kids...but however much I don't like Catholicism I really don't believe there's some secret church directive hiding somewhere in the basement of the Vatican saying, "Priests are supposed to be celibate, but God just told the Pope that molesting little boys doesn't count, so have fun!"
- anawnymoose, on 02/25/2009, -1/+11Anonymous and the cops get along just fine in most places. Scientologists calling 911 during every single protest saying we had bombs and buckets of acid probably helped that along a lot.
- yocouchdigga, on 02/25/2009, -1/+11say it ain't so, Wise Beard Man!? D:
but he's such a wise, bearded, man! The cult of scientology has really crossed the line... - LilJimmyNordin, on 02/25/2009, -0/+10Wow. How nice that a guy criticizing the writing of others as "like a 12 year old" and "7th Grader" makes multiple spelling and grammatical mistakes, which would have easily been found with a simple pre-submission review.
I'm pretty sure I learned to proofread my own work right around grade 7. - falafelkiosken, on 02/25/2009, -1/+11this only make more people realize what scientology really is and what they do, CoS think they can scare critics but it only comes back on themselves
- NSResponder, on 02/25/2009, -1/+10If you think that's creepy, google for Keith Henson. They got him arrested and tried him in a kangaroo court where he wasn't even allowed to say the word "scientology", much less explain why he was protesting them.
-jcr - defektiv, on 02/25/2009, -1/+9I hope they sue the hell out of Scientology once it's found the arrest was unlawful. It's just fighting fire with fire.
- m3th0dm4n, on 02/25/2009, -0/+8More like 'middleschooler'
- TheCake, on 02/25/2009, -1/+8I was under the impression that a citizens arrest is only valid for felonies, and in this case would itself be a felony of unlawful imprisonment.
- Jelga, on 02/25/2009, -1/+7Don't stoop to their level buddy. Yes, they've murdered people and are generally a ***** up cult, but calling for mass genocide is wrong no matter who it's against.
- LilRabbitFooFoo, on 02/26/2009, -1/+7It already is.
- lepton, on 02/26/2009, -0/+5A standard Scientology tactic is to insert a nutcase in a discussion, plus a person apparently unsuccessfully trying to calm the nutcase. The purpose is to take all serious discussion off the track and to discourage those reading the discussion from continuing with it, hoping they will dismiss the whole thing as a bunch of nuts. Another tactic is to inject discussions of violence into the discussion hoping protesters seem violent. . You'll see this mysteriously happening in every discussion. Cult members have this as their actual job. The tactics of the cult are fascinating, I encourage people to read up on this global scam hiding behind the cloak of a religion.
- skatoolaki, on 02/25/2009, -1/+6Ty for posting that.
I can't wait to see these wack-job crooks shown for what they truly are. - LilRabbitFooFoo, on 02/26/2009, -1/+6oooooooh, now THAT sounds like a wonderful way to practice peaceful resistance. :)
CONVOY! - inactive, on 02/25/2009, -1/+5Free the wise beard man!
- inactive, on 02/25/2009, -2/+6This might be the dumbest comment, ever.
- inactive, on 02/25/2009, -1/+5did anybody notice the crazy lady in the comments section? also, i noticed that they keep talking about anonymous like they know what it is. 100 geese strayed from the v to protest, yet somehow all of anonymous is labeled as protesters...people just don't get it =\.
- Matri, on 02/26/2009, -1/+4If the scientologists weren't charged for inciting terror for those calls, then it's not enough.
- anawnymoose, on 02/26/2009, -0/+3Guy with blackface for an icon + a billion chan references when your username is googled = 4channer trolling cause he's bored/angry that the word "anonymous" is being associated with something other than battletoads.
- KlogereEndGrim, on 02/26/2009, -1/+4Anyone who thought Project Chanology has ended, think again.
If you can't find us by sum googling, then you probably aren't any use, so lurk more. - LilJimmyNordin, on 02/25/2009, -1/+2Actually, Eurynom0s...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VABSoHYQr6k - obviouspseud, on 02/26/2009, -1/+2The crazy lady has been all over YouTube for days now. She makes me want to call the men in the white coats and ask them to take her away before she does herself an injury, poor thing. If you ever meet her in a comment section you may be lucky enough to hear about her (sorry - their, one of her delusions is that she is more than one person) tame armies of law enforcement agents and hackers on steroids.
- lamejoketeller, on 05/04/2009, -0/+1Scientology is a religion. I mean that as an insult to religions, not as a compliment to Scientology.
- ambivalent, on 02/26/2009, -1/+2My favorite part about that article were the crazy ramblings from Jessica in the comments. This is the type of crazy that you used to see downtown holding a placard and ranting using as many big words as possible to convey a message with no meaning. Now they live in on in forum trolls.
- LilRabbitFooFoo, on 02/26/2009, -1/+2Brainwashing is hard to break, whether it be a child being told from birth about a religion or a cult "taking in" the gullible and lost.
- Rewster05, on 02/26/2009, -2/+2The REAL story here is in the comments section AFTER the article. This lady is a loon! I don't know whether to laugh or cringe. But it is true that I'm smoking that marijuana stuff that's been all over Digg so don't trust my judgment.
- protogenxl, on 02/25/2009, -1/+1The guns - they've stopped!
- MetalGear7, on 02/27/2009, -5/+1Stupid people trying to grab attention who liked V for Vendetta WAY too much....simple
- wirah, on 02/26/2009, -5/+1Chanology is long over. Noone cares anymore.
- inactive, on 02/25/2009, -9/+1Anonymous is lame.
- DJWilsonX, on 02/25/2009, -15/+1I say we commit genocide on the Scientology followers. Nukes FTW.
- inactive, on 02/25/2009, -16/+2It is kind of funny that you mentioned them. Remember how they all but guaranteed that they were going to singlehandedly be the end of Scientology?
They sure failed at that. - inactive, on 02/25/2009, -19/+2Yeah...that WAS pretty funny. Anyone can write like a 12 year old. (Seriously..."we are legion") It doesn't mean they accomplished ANYTHING long term.
Face it...you ar a joke. You write liek a 7th grader THINKS sounds cool. That little ditty that you quote is what killed you in hte eyes of many. It was when people stopped taking you seriously.
Maybe the real reason you seem to be non-existent now is that you are all studying up for your high school entrance exam.

What is Digg?
