I'm working on a project down in Atlanta GA today. I went to buy a pack of smokes and when the clerk asked to see my ID, I displayed my valid NC license that is less than one year old.
The man behind the counter raised his eyebrows and said "well this could be forged" I said "Why" and he said "because of where it's from (NC)"
I had to show him my voter registration card to get him to accept my ID to buy the smokes.

it just occurred to me the other day that I have always thought that world gov would be created by "them" you know the bad guys from another nation but I'm very sad to say it looks like we have elements of our own government who are creating this... I'm not starting to reevaluate the whole JFK issue and the 9-11 issue to think it may have been possivle for our own Gov. to have caused those issues as well. I began to think this after I say a movie called Terror Storm.... Has anyone on this post seen the movie Terror Storm? it proves governments have created it's own terror to creat changes. After I saw the movie a few nights ago it's no stretch of the imagination to conclude if 9-11 was created by our own gov then no wonder we have lost our freedoms. Another thing that has never made any since to me was the fact our borders are open. Yet, they tell us about the War on Terror I now think the war on terror is a fake.

Although this appears harmless, maybe even a good security measure in the surface, we all know NOTHING man made is tamper proof, and so does the government. People protest now, call North Carolina's representatives, we have to band together in this and say no. What if Mr. Gheen was joined by millions of NC citizens in not getting renewed ID? So I went down there with my old license from GA, my new insurance card with my address on it, my Social Security card, and an old voters registration card.
I was told that my documentation was not good enough, I needed a copy of my lease as proof of residence. I laughed, because I had intended to bring that, but I didn't . Went back home to get it, returned to the line for service, and once I got to the front of the line the clerk there didn't even look at it.
Then I took the vision and sign test, and they ran my name through a database for sex offenders. There were 47 possible matches based on my first initial and last name. She looked through about a dozen when a supervisor came over and asked what the deal is, why are you taking so long. She replied that I had 47 matches. He said make a note and go on. So there you have it. I'm not a sex offender,but there's no real tracking going on there. That was kind of shocking.
