- alpine75, on 10/11/2007, -7/+33Don't ya' just love people who say they are for peace but wouldn't mind killing someone?
- akira185, on 10/11/2007, -5/+29Well, this isn't new. A blogger on DU said he wants to shoot Rush Limbaugh. This is a guy angry about Limbaugh and Ted Nugent's support of the 2nd Amendment. So you are against guns and the answer is to kill someone. HUH? Nothing new. This is the usual laughable hypocrisy of the left.
- sadatoni, on 10/11/2007, -3/+26“The Muslim world right now is suffering beyond belief,” she said.
For the most part, self-imposed. - tskier, on 10/11/2007, -6/+28No surprise. Just another of a long line of left wing hate mongers. If you don't agree with the Democratic party line they want to kill you.
- Equalizer, on 10/11/2007, -6/+28Does anyone take the Nobel seriously anymore after Jimmah Carter and Arafat winning?
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -7/+26This ought to get good play with the BDS endowed whacko left-wing DiggBotts!
- Klingon00, on 10/11/2007, -1/+17Waiting2awake: I suppose 9-11, 7-7, Cole Bombing and countless other Islamic terrorist attacks against the US and her allies were actually their way of sending wishes for peace? I'm sorry but your "Kicking them when they are down" point is lost on me. Blaming the US for terrorist attacks against it is about as morally sound as blaming the rape victim for the way she was dressed. Unfortunately no one wants to take responsibility for their own actions, it must always be someone Else's fault... Give me a break.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -7/+23“Unless the president of the United States is held responsible for what he’s doing and what he has done, there’s no one in the Muslim world who will forgive him.” ...
We're not asking for their forgiveness, you stupid bitch. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+16I think you have just hit the mark on why Self hating leftists have such an affinity with Islamofascism
"unfortunately no one wants to take responsibility for their own actions, it must always be someone Else's fault." - akira185, on 10/11/2007, -1/+16If you can't refute, bury;)
- bluto36, on 10/11/2007, -1/+15so you would also like to kill the president.....for the sake of peace? please clarify
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -5/+19"Supposedly hit you back" -
You must be one of those moronic conspiracy theorists who think that Bush detonated the twin towers.
"The rest of the world will probably dislike you guys for a long time" -
....as if they EVER liked us. The funny thing is that stupid foreigners (like you) are under some delusion that American patriots (like me) give a *uck what you think. - akira185, on 10/11/2007, -1/+14You have something in common with Hitler, who also thought killing a few Jews would save the world. You can rationalize just about any evil, in the name of "saving the world." Just look at the global warming movement.
- Bluto11262, on 10/11/2007, -3/+16You must be a Frog!
No symbolism and always gives up! - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+15Hear about the new French tank? It has 6 gears in reverse.
- dbwood, on 10/11/2007, -1/+13That is wrong on different levels..but friggin funny.
- CourtesyFlush, on 10/11/2007, -0/+11That IS the progressive way, after all.
Suppress, smear, bully and whine. - RasThavas, on 10/11/2007, -5/+15Ya damn skippy!
- CourtesyFlush, on 10/11/2007, -0/+10".......for the sake of peace."
UNLESS they're a seething, nutbag terrorist.
You should really try to be honest and just come right out and say what you really mean:
".Some people deserve to die.....for the sake of my personal political agenda."
I'm not certain how activists can condone the unlawful murder of a political opponent.....especially after bitching, whining and informing the entire world for months and months that interrogation with the slightest bit discomfort is the work of the devil.
Torture to save lives = BAD
Murder to *cough* "save lives" = GOOD
I'm picking up just a wee bit of contradiction in professed ideals, here. - Klingon00, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9The road to Hell is paved with good intentions indeed. How many evils have been done in the name of helping some perceived victim group? Whether it's for the children, the (name your color) race, the poor, the sick, or even "the common good" it all is justified as good intentions, but in reality there often is more harm done to everyone involved than good.
- DerProfi, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8Do you have any grasp of geopolitics whatsoever? Or did you learn everything you needed to know from Oprah?
- Varchild, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7Giving France freedom from the Nazis... Saving the lives of innocents from Terrorists.... Building Schools and providing School supplies for Children... Conducting Humanitarian efforts in the recent Tsunami Crisis... Building Hospitals, Police Departments, Fire Departments.... Conducting Medical care to the impoverished, starving, people...
What about those Footprints? - Varchild, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Freedom from the Nazis for France.... Building Schools and providing School Supplies to children... Conducting Humanitarian efforts in the Tsunami Crisis... Building Fire departments and police stations.... Saving lives through medical care of the impoverished... Protecting the innocent from terrorists... Rescuing Kuwait from takeover by Saddam Hussein...
What about these footprints? We can't expect those people who hate America to be worth liking. - Varchild, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5Pretty soon it will get so bad that "Nobel Peace Prize Winners" will have to be put on the FBI's Terrorism Watch List as a Terrorist Organization.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Almost entirely self-imposed.
- qwerty1024, on 10/11/2007, -13/+3Some people deserve to die.....for the sake of peace
- rhysmd, on 10/11/2007, -16/+2Let's be honest though, look at the footprint our armed forces leave all around the world, in bases we have in other countries. Rape, driving accidents resulting in death, leaving depleted uranium shells, if foreigners did that in America, they would be tried with impunity, and to hell with sending them home for trial, like we demand with our soldiers.
We can't expect people not to hate us, seriously. - slugicide, on 10/11/2007, -19/+2little green footballs=buried as lame
- Waiting2awake, on 10/11/2007, -21/+2 You know you are right. Overall the issue is theirs. Much like when two people beat the crap out of each other. But just because they did beat the crap out of each other - you still will be blamed should you walk over and start kicking them when they are down.
Which is why this whole thing is such a crime, which goes to the reason why normally peacful people would subscribe to killing a few to save hundreds, or thousands. - Waiting2awake, on 10/11/2007, -24/+3 Nope,. you aren't. But you did cry an awful lot when they supposedly hit you back - bitch.
But it isn't just the Muslims that won't forgive America if Bush walks. The rest of the world will probably dislike you guys for a long time, and seeings as your dollar is *****, your trade is gone, the petro-dollar is finished, and your entire country is alive because China is allowing it.....You may decide that the world works better with amicable partnerships, over the "with us or against us" crap that has been spewed recently.
and you still have the audacity to act arrogant? Typical American attitude. Long on symbolism, short on substance.
