I think that's code for "he has a Castle Grayskull playset in the Oval Office". - converge, on 10/11/2007, -11/+112This president has ***** all over the constitution. I seriously can't believe we let this douschebag get elected TWICE!

- tnoy, on 10/11/2007, -4/+51I think of myself to be pretty far on the right, and I want him out of office; thats pretty bad if you ask me.
- thegreeneyedkri, on 10/11/2007, -8/+48Yeah..I didn't feel sorry for him once.
Does that make me inhuman or just smart, since how can you feel bad for a person who has completely ignored what the American people wanted, even though his job is to be a representative for us and to always have our best interest in mind?
He made those decisions and now he has to deal with the consequences. Just like any other person. Unless someone held a gun to his head and told him to completely disregard what the american people (and the rest of the world) thought was the right thing to do, there is no way I could ever feel sorry for him. - Qenton, on 10/11/2007, -1/+40"What can I learn from history?"
Never get involved in a land war in Asia - AvinKoan, on 10/11/2007, -7/+43Reading the article I started to feel sorry for the guy. But that feeling quickly passed over.
- kingkilr, on 10/11/2007, -5/+34No, he just pissed a whole bunch of them off, if anything he laid the groundwork for us getting our assed attacked.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+28And approximately half of you voted for him...twice. /golfclap
- Jwoey, on 10/11/2007, -4/+28FTA: "One at a time or in small groups, he summons leading authors, historians, philosophers and theologians to the White House to join him in the search."
How much you wanna bet he only listens to the theologians? - Ninnux, on 10/11/2007, -4/+28Interesting statistics

This dunce is asking why the world does not like America. Just a few reasons of the top: because America attempts to impose it's will on other countries; because America is occupying Iraq; because America is interested in profits at the expense of individuals; because America elected this dunce not once, but TWICE!
Not a lot of insight there. Also some pretty pathologiical denial, too.
Seventeen years of intensive psychotherapy might do it for Georgie. - rr12, on 10/11/2007, -2/+24This article annoys the crap out of me because it focuses on Bush's personal life instead of the ***** that matters. Who the f** cares whether he plays golf more or less than he used to. Journalists: Just tell the American people exactly what he has done and let the people decide the rest.
- bobcrotch, on 10/11/2007, -7/+29Because stupid ***** like you don't vote.
- NikoKun, on 10/11/2007, -1/+20one word: moron...
- logicalnoise, on 10/11/2007, -2/+21yeah ***** kevin nash
- Corrosionx, on 10/11/2007, -3/+20No, the Soviet Union collapsed under its own bureaucratic and tyrannical weight.
Bush has laid the groundwork and political strategy for the U.S. to collapse in the same way. - smokedgouda, on 10/11/2007, -3/+18His history is almost certain: he used an attack on America to impose his war and other right-wing ideas on the US and world. When the smoke cleared from 9/11 and the majority of America woke up, it was too late to reverse the damage this fool had caused.
Thanks to all the idiots who voted for him. - iankino, on 10/11/2007, -3/+18I feel no remorse for the man.
He made a joke about not find Weapons of Mass Destruction despite the fact American soldiers died trying to find them, where is the remorse.
He felt no remorse when he cut funding for higher education and increased the federal student loan rate.
In 2002, the British Pound was worth about $1.60 USD. In Spring 2005, it was about $1.90. So what about the economy?
Or how about his foreign policy. If your country does not agree with my viewpoint you are not a friend of us.
Overall, I feel no remorse for him, I'd feel no remorse for any president. There is a reason why his approval rating is so low. - thegreeneyedkri, on 10/11/2007, -1/+16He actually was not elected twice (at least not by the PEOPLE of the United States). The second time, sadly, yes he was elected and somehow had received the popular vote. If you pay attention, you would know that he did not in fact win the popular vote the first time but got the majority vote in the electoral college. (the whole thing with Jeb and Florida was a bit fishy as well).
- bIuebonics, on 10/11/2007, -0/+14"If the government goes all hitler on us, we can be thankful that the republicans liked their guns."
i have $20 on texas becoming its own country... - thelostemperor, on 10/11/2007, -2/+16Your punctuation is incorrect. Should read:
Worst. President. Ever. - CatScan29, on 10/11/2007, -2/+16That's if we have elections. Don't forget the presidential directive and national security directive.
If he invokes marshal law, (like due to a hurricane that affects 2 states) we wont have elections, and there isn't thing one that congress will be able to do because those 2 items nullify Congress and the Judiciary.
And why isn't congress covering that? - michrech, on 10/11/2007, -0/+13Did you even read the article?
"The reality has been daunting by any account. No modern president has experienced such a sustained rejection by the American public."
It's at the bottom of the very first page of the article. Yea, they removed "modern" from it for the digg submission. Way to nit pick over stupid things.
(I actually created this account JUST to post this message...) - MacGyver2210, on 10/11/2007, -1/+13I assume you mean Martial Law, and that's what the 2nd amendment is for. If the government goes all hitler on us, we can be thankful that the republicans liked their guns. Right now he's pissing a lot of people off, but he hasn't crossed the final line...yet.
- soxos, on 10/11/2007, -1/+12two words: Confused Conservative
- soxos, on 10/11/2007, -2/+13Franklin Pierce has long been considered the worst president (most unpopular is hard to tell b/c massive polls are such a recent phenomenon). I've always wished someday I'll be saying, "Man, I was totally wrong about everything I believed about what W has done to the world and America. He really was a great president." Right now, I'm positive that day will never come. Course, everybody recast Reagan as a flawless leader after he died. He was good, but nowhere near deserving the adulation Repubs lay on him.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+11You may have let him, i never voted for the loser
All the republicans have to do is say they are against abortion and they will get 40% of americans vote with just that statement alone, thats how insane its become, i dont agree with abortion but there are more important issues at hand and Bush is about as Christian as Hitler. - obliviousfool, on 10/11/2007, -2/+12That's because they haven't gotten us out of Iraq, and they haven't impeached Georgie yet!
- Calcularius, on 10/11/2007, -0/+10People dissaprove of Congress because they haven't got rid of Bush/Cheney yet!
- Lithium19, on 10/11/2007, -2/+12Now a days, we look a Truman and say that he's a good leader, but 50 years from now, we won't look at Bush as a good leader.
- Jwoey, on 10/11/2007, -0/+10God says whatever the "listener" wants to hear.
- tHePeOPle, on 10/11/2007, -2/+12Exactly. Islamic extremism is fueled by ***** unbelievably horrible foreign policy. The administration has done a really great job of not being great at all.
- floppyparty, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9My point is that people like to apply all the blame to the President for what he is doing. What message does this send to future presidents? Abuse the office and the worse you have to fear is a low approval rating?
- drmangrum, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10Well, at least he's starting to be somewhat introspective even if he needs an army of "experts" to help him do so. Admitting your not the divine incarnate is the first step to not being a complete tool.
- Mortikhi, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10Its because we have the internet.
Information is power. - ryodoan, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9Didn't stop me from voting against Bush the second time (was not 18 for the first election).
- MacGyver2210, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9Yeah, it had nothing to do with faked election results or anything...
- 0ddity, on 10/11/2007, -2/+11Correction: Elected once, appointed once.
- CatScan29, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8What do I dislike about him? How about the fact that he called the constitution a god-damned piece of paper, when he is supposed to be upholding and defending it. How about the violations of the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 6th amendments to the constitution. How about the fact that after he was told that America was under attacked (with no details about it) that he sat on his ass for 7 minutes. How about giving away our tax money to Haliburton with no bid military contracts and the military not being able to provide documentation of how that money is being spent; and Haliburton overcharging the government for services and charging for meals that weren't served while they setup theri offices in Dubai so that they are exempt from having to turn over documentation
There are so many other things but I don't have all day to discredit you.
Those who sacrifice freedom for security deserve neither. - teh_techie, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9You can't possibly think that NO OTHER president could have accomplished these things without having an EVEN MORE positive impact. It's freaks like you that keep the trash in office.
- kmusser, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8Did you even read the article Bogie22? It's an article that is written as if we should feel bad for Bush regarding all the hatorade the public is drinking regarding him.
I don't feel bad for him in anyway. It makes him sound like a child who is too stubborn to realize he has done something(s) wrong and should be punished for it. Instead he sits there and says it isn't his fault or it was right to crayon the freshly painted white walls. Or you know, let thousands of American's die for a war that half the country or more don't agree with. - thegreeneyedkri, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9The next in line is Cheney...would you REALLY want him as president.
It's no-win situation. - matbot3i, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8You Bush administration apologist make me upset. It's one thing to say you like their domestic policies but it's another to simply ignore what they've done abroad and fiscally. And citing a lack of terrorism inside America is a fallacy. Terrorism will always be around. The fact that it hasn't happened recently can be attributed to the citizens, specifically law enforcement, of the United States. Bush simply allocated resources which, I think, any half-brained president would have figured out.
And, why is the Bush administration only now concerned with what the people think. Although the president wields a lot of power, he is still a servant of the American people. - GeneralFault, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7Sad that "likability" had anything to do with keeping a monster in office.
- bobcrotch, on 10/11/2007, -6/+13Yeah if you think his approval rating is bad look at congress! The worst ever!
- rhabd0mancer, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7Clinton had a better economic record than Bush.
Look it up. - rpong1981, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8hey, guess what? It does matter. Millions of people think the same way you do.
