- Pubs, on 08/31/2008, -21/+86I must admit that I first laughed at McCain's risky decision in choosing Palin. He actually chose a woman that no woman could vote for. Unfortunately, there are those Americans who only believe what they are told by Fox News and they will think Palin is okay just as they think McCain is okay. But his choice was wrong for so many reasons. He certainly wasn't putting the country first. He will get to live with this decision in all the houses he has, but not the White House.
- l2digg, on 08/31/2008, -39/+59I know I can't be the only person on Digg that's sick of seing biased Huffspam.
- grlykool, on 08/31/2008, -16/+30What happened to do unto others. Also ask Dobson what ever happen to that pray for rain thing during Obama's speech?
- JumpingJack79, on 08/31/2008, -14/+26I'm really amazed at how many neocon trolls post these "Huffington = SPAM" messages without ANY argument at all and even in response to articles that contain TAPED RECORDINGS!
In case you missed it, here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKkydrUnBZE
Now if you don't like the truth, you might as well start saying "truth = SPAM"...
Next time you don't like something, EXPLAIN or STFU! - chrissku, on 08/31/2008, -10/+22Ok...so our next potential vice president has the maturity of a 14 yr old girl. Awesome. Thanks john mccain.
- insomn3ak, on 08/31/2008, -23/+35She's not acting very presidential OR vice-presidential there...or very human actually.
- OstrakonX, on 08/31/2008, -3/+14A woman...
Who doesn't believe in women's rights. Really.
Well, I guess it should be "a woman no woman -should- vote for." - Markers, on 08/31/2008, -5/+16The original Anchorage Daily News article is a much better story...

- akchrs, on 08/31/2008, -11/+21Former DNC Chairman Don Fowler laughs at New Orleans while talking to Congressman John Spratt of SC. You can't hear Spratt but he chuckles along with.
http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=3c6_1220142679 - fleischner, on 08/31/2008, -11/+19Oh, I see this is the potential-VP-is-mean post. Let me add a couple then:
"I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a storybook, man." -- Joe Biden on Barack Obama
"You cannot go to a 7-11 or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent.... I'm not joking." -- Joe Biden - Mattwdj, on 08/31/2008, -11/+19Yea your damn right im scared. Scared she could possibly become the president of this country.
- inactive, on 08/31/2008, -35/+42And here comes all the anti-Palin propaganda... Big surprise!
- aratika, on 08/31/2008, -1/+7CNN is reporting that Sarah Palin once made a little fart sounding noise in church. AND it was probably a fart!
- Mononuclear, on 08/31/2008, -0/+6wtf? She shores up McCain's shortcomings in experience? In what imaginary land does she have more experience than McCain?
- norman619, on 08/31/2008, -0/+6Accurate? LOL!!!! I hope that was sarcasm.
- cannibaljp, on 08/31/2008, -1/+7Internet rule # 4: If you want to make a point, be sure to insult someone who has said something that you disagree with. It will make you look "large and in charge" - friends will flock to you.
Being right without being belligerent is NOT proper netiquette. - jj101, on 08/31/2008, -5/+11Auto dugg down for starting "hey idiot'. Idiot.
- isiz, on 08/31/2008, -1/+6Ok, now you guys are just getting desperate.
- aupeters, on 08/31/2008, -2/+7ZOMG SHE SNICKERED NO F-NG WAY WAY TILL I TELL EVERYONE THIS IS GONNA SINK THAT SHIP ALRIGHT!
way to become everything you hate about the conservative whackos - mrsteveman1, on 09/01/2008, -0/+5"Unfortunately, there are those Americans who only believe what they are told by Fox News and they will think Palin is okay just as they think McCain is okay"
You overestimate Fox news, most people ignore them after a while. - randyzaia, on 08/31/2008, -2/+7I'm on your side, but where in that article are the allegations debunked?
- minox, on 08/31/2008, -0/+5Don't forget the one where he lectures a reporter, insisting he is smarter than the reporter.
- randyzaia, on 08/31/2008, -1/+6Again, I believe Palin but getting her family physician to back up her story isn't exactly strong evidence. The doctor never verifies it directly.
Moot point anyway - there are pics showing her pregnant. - Sfenton, on 08/31/2008, -2/+7DIGG, YOU HAVE BECOME EVERYTHING THAT YOU DESPISE AND HATE.
IF YOU HAVE ANY CREDIBILITY LEFT, STOP DIGGING HUFFINGTONPOST ARTICLES. - HarryRag, on 08/31/2008, -2/+7Agreed. The article makes no sense at all. It's embarrassing this was actually dugg so many times.
- Lawrencesss, on 08/31/2008, -10/+14SOUNDS LIKE A REGULAR SUNDAY AT 4CHAN.
- gelato822, on 08/31/2008, -4/+8i'm sorry, is there supposed to be a baby bump there? It just looks like she is wearing a jacket...
fail. - kristov, on 08/31/2008, -14/+18Spam? Ya, lets just stick our heads in the sand and ignore anything people point out bad about who may end up being the most powerful person in the known world.
Way to be an American! Now back to Paris Hilton giving someone a blow job! - Ajajadude, on 08/31/2008, -1/+5It's been here for a couple of days now. Where have you been?
- dn11, on 08/31/2008, -2/+6Hey, I agree Michael Moore was being a complete *****. As a liberal, I consider Moore to be an embarrassment. He sounded just like Jerry Falwell or Pat Robertson gloating over the wrath of any angry, politically biased god smiting the gays. He realized how bad he sounded and immediately tried to back track - it was too late.
- DjOverEZ, on 08/31/2008, -3/+7Maybe being "politically incorrect" is a badge of honor but how Palin acted in that radio interview was just plain rude.
- PHiZ187, on 08/31/2008, -5/+9That's what I stopped by to say. The numerous stories have less to do with anyone being "out to get her," and everything to do with their being a wealth of controversy about her.
- inactive, on 08/31/2008, -1/+5Yea, there is, just click on customize and uncheck the politics sections.
- inactive, on 08/31/2008, -0/+4Who wouldn't laugh at that? I'd laugh out of shock, and then amusement. And you know you would too.
I'm only defending reality here, I don't support McCain/Palin. Really though, let's be honest, well all laugh at this stuff nightly, when we watch the Colbert Report, or The Daily Show. So let's not call the kettle black eh? - cubicrystal, on 08/31/2008, -1/+5Mooseburgerspam
- kbebee, on 08/31/2008, -1/+5This post is a joke and just shows how small minded most Digg posts are. If you don't have the depth to understand she's on a shock jock radio show and that she composed herself well during that show, then you didn't listen to the entire clip (not the short one they put in the main post which was out of context). When she's giggling, it's nothing more than her being on a popular show in Alaska and just playing along. As far as "Why didn't she fight back for her opponent", they say these remarks, she giggles, then the host hits about 4 other topics before they let her speak. Wow.....wow.......she was supposed to go back and stop the shock jocks from doing what they've done every morning for years and years.
Get real..... seriously, get real with yourself. The republicans could have put anyone in as the VP and people who align themselves with the Democratic party would find something bad to dig up. I'm waiting for the bad hair day photos, the rumors of her in high school, or more of these "cut and paste" jobs with her audio. Anyone who speaks publicly has something out there that sounds bad out of context.
On the flip side, if you're aligned with any party from the word go.......get real with yourself. If you just jump on a party bandwagon before people even lay out the ideas then you're the idiots who encourage these paper thin elections we have where they don't talk about anything other than a few hot button topics to get your all hyped up. Abortion, religion, terrorism........three topics that get people blinded to the 20,000 other things they don't want to talk about. All because you buy into the line of crap they feed you.
Get some depth. Listen, analyze, stop, think...... re-examine, think it through and you'll see that the 2 party system is giving you the shaft and raking in more money and power than any King or Tyrant ever did.........and that's a fact, Jack! - fleischner, on 08/31/2008, -2/+5Anybody who diggs this down is a partisan, hypocritical jerk-off. It's relevant as a comment to this post. It's purely factual because it's a video catching the two red-handed. And its content is vicious and revealing. There's NO reason to digg this down other than to try to bury a very embarrassing truth about two Democrats.
- ericjohnson0, on 08/31/2008, -2/+5Click "More" in the first article... Jones was just explaining why he was so pissed off yesterday, etc.
"Early Thursday -- she thinks it was around 4 a.m. Texas time -- she consulted with her doctor, family physician Cathy Baldwin-Johnson, who is based in the Valley and has delivered lots of babies, including Piper, Palin's 7-year-old.
Palin said she felt fine but had leaked amniotic fluid and also felt some contractions that seemed different from the false labor she had been having for months."
Doctor verified, its her kid. - patpl22391, on 08/31/2008, -36/+39Huffingtonpost and ilk have already lost all credibility, why do we continue to see such garbage on the front page?
- Sfenton, on 08/31/2008, -1/+4Why is MacBigot being dugg down.
Why is it ok for other to game Digg? - Cwolf267, on 08/31/2008, -9/+12Wait, laughing at the mention of a political opponents name is bad (Grasping at straws much?) but slinging mud about a candidates 17 year old daughter isn't?
Seriously, is there any way to block the politics section from showing up on my digg account? - inactive, on 08/31/2008, -0/+3Yeah but then you're only doing it for the sake of political correctness, I say, if you find something funny, laugh. I'd rather know the real you, than a front.
- unpaste, on 08/31/2008, -1/+4"A woman that no woman could vote for."
It's an incredibly narcissistic statement. There are others that think differently than you and there will be millions of women in November proving that statement incorrect. Democrats do not hold a monopoly on the empowerment of women. In all your clinging to feminism, have you ever encountered Phillis Schlafly? Probably not.
But, hey, whatever! Fox News is evil. Republicans are evil. I'm evil. Bury this comment and move on! - ultraseamus, on 09/01/2008, -0/+3It is nice to see that Diggers have been able to ease up on the obsessive McCain bashing, and have risen to the challenge of beating on his new VP. He could have brought Mother Terasa back from the dead to be his VP and you guys would be pushing articles about how she eats brains to the front page. Even if he managed to pick someone Diggers liked (a non republican), there would be articles about how McCain is desperate and pandering, and has turned his back on his own party.
But I guess that anything that can cut down on endless McCain hate articles is not all bad. So lets keep focusing on how her daughter might be pregnant, or how she is proud of her son going to war (which remember is a bad thing), or how she was once mean to someone on a radio program. I heard she also cheated on her 3rd grade math test, do I smell a new front page article? - isiz, on 09/01/2008, -0/+3Yeah pretty much.
- timbellomo, on 09/01/2008, -0/+3Wait - I'm sorry; are you saying that this is fake? Or are you saying it's irrelevant?
The interview occurred, HuffPost posted the story, and it made it's way to Digg. What's wrong? - ericjohnson0, on 08/31/2008, -3/+6He also kicked my dog... I'VE GOT PROOF!
- BothBarsOn, on 08/31/2008, -1/+4You spell like you think.
- prahareturns, on 08/31/2008, -0/+3Great reply, thanks for representing the "change" this country is looking for. I guess based on your comments you would also laugh at the comments Palin laughed at.
