- duggitt4u, on 07/13/2009, -1/+2Since people always have to point back to Bush (does it suck being so stressed all the time?)...I will answer the question.
Yes, I was disappointed at all the faulty intelligence. Faulty intelligence that was purported by many other countries and many Democrats. We all missed it. But somehow it goes back to only Bush.
However, good things come out of a bad situation. I am glad that Sadaam was overthrown because he was evil to his own people, a fact that is overlooked (to my astonishment) by many who claim to be on the side of the underdogs and support human rights.
Let's keep going...I was extremely disappointed that Bush (and his fellow Republicans) sold out conservative values by spending like there's no tomorrow. Don't assume we're all Bush supporters simply because we're asking questions about the Prez's eligibility. It's in the Constitution to protect us.
Why can't we have an open, honest debate with FACTS, not emotion? Answer: people put too much faith in political parties and are blinded by loyalty. - duggitt4u, on 07/11/2009, -5/+5Saw the same news report on NBC...nobody blinked when the reporter said "Barack Obama is Kenyan."
There are similarities to the campaign that are developing...he denied his Muslim heritage while on the trail. Then when in office he suddenly became proud of it. The same thing is starting to happen with his birthplace. - JoeyFarah, on 07/12/2009, -3/+2A Muslim? Yeah, all while going to the same CHURCH for 20 years that you all ridiculed him for.
Barack Obama is "Kenyan" just like many in the USA say that they are Irish, Italian, Polish, etc... It refers to the fact that his father was from there as well as many other relatives on his fathers side. He's from African/Kenyan descent.
Obama's mother was a US Citizen, who was born in the US. That makes her child a US citizen no matter WHERE he was born! When a mother who is a US citizen has a child any place on the planet, that child is AUTOMATICALLY a US citizen as well. Case closed (as it always has been).
It's got to suck being so stressed all the time about nothing. Imagine if you stressed this much and worried this much when the Bush administration was lying about Iraq being linked to 9/11 and that they had WMD's (even though international inspectors were saying over and over that they had found none). If only you and the rest of the birthers would have put the same amount of effort into calling out the BS being sold to you, and making sure that we didn't start that unnecessary war that caused so many deaths to hundreds of thousands of innocent humans. - Don1500, on 07/11/2009, -5/+3Just wait till Charlie Gibson says, "Oh, my god, the "birthers" were right all along!"
