  • V3n0M, on 11/28/2007, -1/+1Well, if you're for letting people having the freedom to practice their own religion, why would you support a candidate that does not support the freedom to marry whomever you choose? Obviously homosexuality is not a religion, but if people are truly free to practice the religion of their choice, why not have the freedom to marry the person of their choice (and receive the same benefits the rest of us enjoy)?

We are not electing a Theologian-In-Chief, but rather the CEO of America and commander-in-chief of the armed forces. The constitution guarantees the freedom for everyone to practice their religion. Each candidate should be judged on the issues and how they would run the country, not personal religious beliefs. Romney's convenient flip-flopping on abortion is of much more concern than his private faith.
