- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15had you simply said both sides do there share of shaningans, you wouldnt have been modded down.
The story is bipartisan if you read. ANd yes bush numbers are in the 30% so you can expect 2/3 of the people to not like your comments
but if you want to complain conspiracy i will add it to the list..
MSM
ABA
global warming sciecntist
evolution teachers
hollywood
activist judges
digg and every other public site
it is amazing the republicas control all three branches of government if there is a huge liberal conspiracy.
If you think your numbers are truley 50/50 then bring friends.. Digg is a public place..
and everyone gets modded down once in a while. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14actually its much easier to do it through electronic voting and heres why:
1. the machines run windows
2. the machines are connected to the internet
3. the machines are counted by private companies
4. the president of one of those companies and the vice president of the other are brothers
5. you can buy stocks on these companies and many officials have, and have been part of these companies in managing positions
6. errors get recorded as a vote to a certain party
7. the list goes on - zephc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13"and a shocking reversal, the US Pirate Party swept the polls with 93% of the votes"
- Alphabet, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12@bonch and harry
who cares, this is about voting machines that can easily be tampered. Saying "it's ok" because the other side is doing it is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. If a democrat is cheating, then kick him out of office. It is as simple as that. I find it sad that you're trying to find a reason to justify this voting machine that can easily be rigged. How pathetic can you be? - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9"But just remember: If voting could really change things, it would be illegal." - Alfred E Neuman
- bigtimepelham, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9I seriously want someone to join me in an elaborate national conspiracy to get daffy duck elected president. (The obvious of absurdity of such a result would force them to make changes)
- RaistlinMajere, on 10/12/2007, -7/+13@bonchbonchbonch:
"If I had bashed Republicans, I'd have been modded up."
That's because 60% of country has woken up and is now on to you, Republicans.
You'll find out in November... - phil.busch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Wow... I would jump for joy if that happened. Who is the Pirate Party nominating for the 2008 election? :-P
- jarbro, on 07/23/2009, -3/+8all i want is a president who's face cannot be easily compared to that of a baboon.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7's ass!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5who says they are any different? There is a two party system now - repubicrats and third party candidates
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4MAD Magazine ran a campaign for Alfred E. Neuman for president about 30 years ago, who would have thought it would have come true.
- astroid0, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4http://www.blackboxvoting.org/ -- The best website when it comes to electronic vote fraud.
Yes, all political parties use dirty tricks. But, electronic vote fraud is unique. You can sign up dead people to vote, you can slash peoples tires, and you can not provide enough machiines to accomodate the population in areas that are dominantly your 'opposition'.
Thats all a moot point when you can simply change all the numbers of who voted anyway.
There is no point in physically restricting people from voting when you can change their votes after the fact.
You may as well NOT stop anyone from voting, because it will look more fair. Change it after, and noones (hopefully) the wiser. That'.s pretty scary to me, no matter who is doing the rigging. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3sure but turning on him is popular and they people like it and they are republicans
there heart may not be in it.. except mccains was on torture as he was tortured..
i am just trying to prove diggers dont hate everything republicans do.
even though i know it is futile and in every thread these same people will complain digg has extrem liberal bias. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4GO mccain for standing up against torture and with standing a presidencial threat of veto
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4GO arlen spectre for having the balls to be a republican and still stand up to the administration.
- RaistlinMajere, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3@powercow:
McCain and Specter are merely trying to secure their future. Of course, that means turning on their former pal now that he's unpopular. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I think most diggers have personal values and don't consider themselves part of any party.
There are many republicans i like and hate as well as dems.
I have my values and don't like politicians that do things outside my values or force values onto others. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2but i guess your conventional means discussion is directed at common folk?
- hackwrench, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Maybe you can get Jerry Doyle to help you out on that.
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0236381/
http://jerrydoyle.com/ - hackwrench, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3One reason you get dugg down because you do not cite your sources. It also doesn't motivate people to digg you back to neutral either.
- slashdotted, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The press release from The NYU School of Law is here:
http://www.brennancenter.org/presscenter/releases_2006/pressrelease_2006_0627.html - danielwsmithee, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2Sorry guys but I have to say it. The Pirate Party is a joke!! I'm all for a new party in government but come on you are asking to be ignored and laughed at with a name like that.
- Aidenag, on 10/12/2007, -9/+2DUPE- http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2006-06-26-e-voting_x.htm?csp=34 come on people quit digging repeat stories that are DAYS old...
lets get digg back to where it was a week ago! - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -19/+6@HarryBauzonia:
Hey, I'm not implying there weren't Republican hijinks, because there were. But my liberal friends always accuse Republicans of dirty tactics during the 2004 election day and conveniently forget all the controversies that were reported leading up to that day.
I'm not surprised I was at -2. There's now a Liberal Cabal that controls Digg 3.0 and buries any comments or submissions that espouse a different view, just like mainstream TV news and the print press (over 70% of journalists reported themselves as Democrats in a media poll). It's why they hate Fox News so much--how dare a news channel air conservative viewpoints on the same level as liberal viewpoints.
If I had bashed Republicans, I'd have been modded up. - Submerge, on 10/12/2007, -14/+1Let's test out a digg theory. Lets see if I get modded up.
GO DEMOCRATS! ? - HarryBauzonia, on 10/12/2007, -19/+5State the facts as they occurred and you get dugg down. There were Dem monkeys in Knoxville slashing tires on Republican vans too. An election in Memphis was invalidated because of the number of dead people who voted for the democratic candidate. Given the fact that your comment was at -2 when I read it, it seems the same mentality exists among that group here.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -21/+6Of course, it's even easier to do it through conventional means. For instance, in 2004, Democrats were found to be signing up dead people as registered voters, and paying the homeless to go into voting centers and register. Republican voting vans were also found with slashed tires on voting day. Who knows how much more Bush beat Kerry than he did.

What is Digg?
