- RPliberty, on 04/27/2008, -0/+22There's no mention that the hotel had granted a 3 hour extension - there was no reason to leave other than the realization that Ron Paul delegates were dominating the proceedings.
- NeoConned08, on 04/27/2008, -1/+20make sure you digg and add to your favs to stop the idiotic bury brigade. Oh, and all you people that are complaining about Ron Paul supporters......is THIS the type of activity that is indicative of the free society you believe you live in?? Sure, you are free to watch American Idol or free to choose which flavor of Doritos you want to eat, but when it comes to important things like becoming part of process, play by the rules, and legally try to make a positive change in the system.....this is behavior, along with what happened in Missouri and Texas PROVE that not EVERYTHING is as free as you think it is.
- inactive, on 04/27/2008, -0/+14If rules are broken why are they not enforced?
- NeoConned08, on 04/27/2008, -0/+9They do. His name is Ron Paul. I mean, just IMAGINE the level of debates Ron Paul and Obama would have. The supreme commie socialist Obama versus the constitutionalist, free market capitalist Ron Paul. THAT would be REAL debate. That would ignite a MASSIVE interest in politics from ALL sides......which is something the people in power DON'T want.......it's much easier to make corrupt money when nobody is paying attention.

"The recess was not about Dr. Paul or McCain, nor should the recess have anything to do with the outcome. If anything, it will benefit the Paul side because they will come back organized like clockwork, which is what it takes.
We were simply out of time. By 6pm, the nominations committee still hadn't cross-checked the new floor self-nominees against the 200 names that the nomination committee was already planning to put forth, so we were not yet ready to conduct the national delegate vote.
Our contract with the Peppermill ended at 5pm - more significantly, our contract with the stagehands, audio and video professionals was into very high rates. We were losing delegates. And recessing meetings than run too long is not an uncommon occurrence anywhere else in government."
He fails to mention that the Hotel had granted 3 more hours worth of time past 5pm. I also think the whole, "we were losing delegates" is all that needs to be heard for this to be shown for what it is. Election fraud. - john2kdiggs, on 04/27/2008, -0/+9These McCain people are crazy. How can McCain win in the general election when so many within his own party do not support him? We need a uniter for the GOP, not a divider. McCain is going to make us lose the election in November. Antics like this do not help, either. The GOP must have a better option that this!
- SouthernGrey, on 04/27/2008, -0/+6That's not the impression that one would get from watching the various videos. Add to that the 3 hour extension that had been granted and some serious questions as to the motivations behind the actions arise.
- billyjack1958, on 04/28/2008, -0/+4Doesn't this violate RICO? Isn't this fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud against the voters of Nevada?
- billyjack1958, on 04/28/2008, -0/+3file a criminal complaint using RICO....this is clearly fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud. The voters of Nevada have been defrauded.
- dgarry7, on 04/28/2008, -0/+3What CAN we do about this type of b***?
- Berkana, on 04/28/2008, -0/+3Look at the mess we're in. McCain supporters need to get a clue: Ron Paul is the only candidate who understands the fiscal mess we're in and the full weight of the implications. I contend that this is a bigger threat to national security than any terrorist group we've faced. Terrorists can kill a lot of people, but I assure you a severe economic depression will kill more.
- Waiting2awake, on 04/28/2008, -0/+2and not just there either. Keep up the good fight guys.
- dgarry7, on 04/28/2008, -0/+2What CAN we do about this kind of b***? They are going to pull this crap at every state convention.
- maxpower17@digg, on 04/28/2008, -0/+1An unidentified man cheers for former presidential candidate Ron Paul as he Paul enters the stage at the Nevada Republican Convention. This is from the picture to the left of the article .Did i miss something or WTF?
