Another way of phrasing my above comment is to say many American Patriots care deeply about abortion and gun rights issues. I didn't say those issues "have anything to do with being a patriot." Lots of old hicks are grouchy, but that doesn't mean you have be grouchy to be an old hick.

I would imagine we agree on a lot. Probably most everything right up until you talk about limited government and then proceed to legislate morality.
