- jstohler, on 05/09/2008, -4/+105Of course they're starstruck. He's the de facto head of the party now. Not you, Bill Clinton -- Barack Obama.
- dBass, on 05/09/2008, -7/+74Pelosi is a closet Obama supporter. Hang in there Pelosi; come May 20th you can come out in full bloom!
- whatthefu, on 05/09/2008, -3/+69This is probably because she knows he will be the nominee unless Clinton somehow manages to destroy the Democratic Party as we know it.
- andrew522, on 05/09/2008, -8/+57woah watching that video really hits home that he is the real deal.
an actual human. - jesuswuzanalien, on 05/09/2008, -1/+43Props to the camera guy for walking backwards for so long.
- coffeebaby, on 05/09/2008, -1/+41i was amused by the blonde reporter trying to squeeze under the mics
- jesuswuzanalien, on 05/09/2008, -10/+50I can't believe she took a break from funding Bush's war.
- wjackson, on 05/09/2008, -2/+32"Ok guys, how about letting me go ahead and walk."
- scarface3288, on 05/09/2008, -1/+31Person: "Hey Obama what are you doing"
Obama: "I'm walking"
Nice, even has grace to say Hi to supporters as he passes them. Real person. - ftblstr2319, on 05/09/2008, -2/+27So smooth...Like a good drink....
- slinky317, on 05/09/2008, -0/+23Her schedule of what? Finding ways NOT to impeach the president?
- Codee, on 05/09/2008, -1/+18Is liberal a bad word? Please explain? Ill help.
Liberal: favorable to or respectful of individual rights and freedoms - BobbyMC, on 07/21/2008, -9/+22All hail... The new king in town.
Young and old, gather round.
Black and White, Red and Green.
The funkiest man you've ever seen. - LBobRife, on 05/09/2008, -2/+14I do get that way too, but you have to understand that this kind of thing is symptomatic of sites like this. When a majority of users support one candidate they digg all the pro-their-candidate stories they see. It happened with Ron Paul ealier and it's happening with Obama now. It's not so much worshipping (not all of it at least) as much as just wanting as much positive news about your candidate out there as possible. There's not much you can do about it besides blocking all political news unfortunately. I'm an Obama supporter as well by the way.
- Gman311, on 05/09/2008, -2/+13lol @ the blond lady around the 2:00 mark thats crouched.
- inactive, on 05/09/2008, -1/+12lol, SCHAUMBURG REPRESENT at 2:50
- arbouler, on 05/09/2008, -3/+12i felt like watching some footage posted on tmz or crapperezhilton or something like that. except it's not a celebrity, it's a politician! it's a good thing especially now everyone can look at politicians (some of em) as a source of inspiration. not that britney isnt.
- morninglorii, on 05/09/2008, -0/+8Yeah I liked the "can you let me walk here" thing at the end.
- inactive, on 05/09/2008, -0/+8Nancy "Impeachment is off the table" Pelosi would be the a worst Democratic VP choice than when Gore picked Lieberman.
- hikaruzero, on 05/09/2008, -0/+8It's also very refreshing to hear some of his responses, they're very well thought out and careful. He doesn't want to say the wrong thing, and he's doing a damn good job at not doing just that.
- Noodleson, on 05/09/2008, -2/+10great little chit chat there pelosi, now hows about you do your job and get us out of iraq like you said you would 2 years ago.
- ralphthemagi, on 05/09/2008, -1/+9Fascist? How am I a fascist? I've always considered myself a hippie liberal douche. But that doesn't make The Huffington Post not completely retarded.
The reality is that The Huffington Post selectively rebags articles from other sources, typical MSM sources, and then spits them out on a page and rakes in ad revenue by playing to the social media crowd. People complain about MSM, then go ahead and Digg ***** from The Huffington Post. WTF?
I'm not saying that the article is necessarily bad. I'm saying submit the actual article, not The Huffington Post ***** recap blogspam extravaganza. - phunlee, on 05/09/2008, -1/+9um, destroying it AS WE KNOW IT is the point. I feel like Obama is key in reinventing the party.
- SillyDigger, on 05/09/2008, -3/+10Ryan166 this isnt 2004 anymore. That liberal vs. conservatives bs is getting real old.
- Sol1, on 05/09/2008, -2/+9No, I meant that quite seriously. She sold herself as a democratic leader that would invoke change (much the same as Obama, who I support albeit half-heartedly). After she came to power she whored herself out to the political powers that be in Washington and has been completely ineffective. Perhaps I should have explained myself a little more thoroughly and, as such, I won't dig you down.
- RomanMaroni, on 05/09/2008, -1/+8Obama needs to distance himself from Pelosi. She has done nothing but tow the Bush Cheney line. The American people voted in the Democrats to end the war, and what did we get? Same ol' same ol'. The American people are so easily fooled. The Neocons won't listen to the American people, so we vote in the Democrats. Then, the Democrats ignore the American people so what do the American people do? ... Support more of the same. I just don't understand why people continue to support the 2 party system when it's has now gotten us 9 trillion in debt. It's funny when you see an Obama rally or Clinton rally, you see all these people smiling, cheering and awe struck. I would think people would realize they are being used. Whoever gets elected, you won't see them again for 4 years. The candidates are all out on the trail meeting everyone, but do you think they care about you or your vote? You're being used. And the response by the American people to being used, cheers and smiles. Snap out of it Americans. These people are frauds. The only time they listen to us is when they need something. After the election, it's back to more war and more spending. Just ask Pelosi ... oh wait she not up for election, so you won't be able to ask her, but when election time comes then ask her.
- lhughey, on 05/09/2008, -0/+7I accidently dugg your comment. But in reality, Howard Dean is just the head cheerleader of the Democratic party. YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
- sheebz, on 05/09/2008, -0/+6People do the darndest things trying to make a living dont they? </naievity>
- julianwan, on 05/09/2008, -1/+7He DID win a grammy! Finally someone worthy of this type of entourage (Someone who actually worked hard and became as smart as possible and tries to live a moral life)

- przemeklach, on 05/09/2008, -3/+8Man reporters suck, look at them slither around him like snakes. They'll bend into the most uncofortable positions just to ask questions that someone has asked 2 seconds before. lol
- NyteStarNyne, on 05/09/2008, -0/+5I think he was getting a little ticked off there but i'd be too if they kept asking me the same questions I already answered and I said goodbye to them just 3mins ago.
- SaladCactusKing, on 05/09/2008, -0/+5It's not like Congress was working anyway.
- inactive, on 05/09/2008, -0/+5http://www.theonion.com/content/node/29383
- ashlocke, on 05/09/2008, -1/+6Pelosi is a tool. Nothing to be surprised about here.
- sheebz, on 05/09/2008, -2/+7Well, I'm grown up and have a job. Care to enlighten me?
- SargedeathXmode, on 05/09/2008, -0/+4We are talking about an article, not just the video.
- Omega697, on 05/09/2008, -0/+4Yes he is.
- MacEnvy, on 05/09/2008, -0/+4A new Democratic president would appoint the chair of the DNC ... so yes, the President is considered the head of the party when the party holds the White House.
- dafragsta, on 05/09/2008, -1/+5which is why he never gets tripped up.
- DarkoKun, on 05/09/2008, -1/+5I would of farted in that blonds face if I was the guy with glasses.
- kingygk, on 05/09/2008, -1/+5Its not like Nancy was doing anything any way. "They have thumbs up their asses, Thumbs up their asses"
- sheebz, on 05/09/2008, -3/+7***** that CONSERVATIVE parent post *****. Haha, lets see who gets dugg down the most... See Being a CONSERVATIVE these days is so uncool... I don't even need bring out the neo prefix any more... its awesome.... Thanks Bush!
- julianwan, on 05/09/2008, -1/+5I'd like to think the future leader of the free world should be considered more a celebrity than janet jackson
- chroko, on 05/09/2008, -1/+5Then why does the article title begin with "Nancy Pelosi"...?
- evil-doer, on 05/09/2008, -1/+4as much as id love him to win the presidency. please refrain from the idiotic "leader of the free world" crap.
- deanlowe, on 05/09/2008, -1/+4Bill Clinton? He's been out of office for almost 8 years. Why would anyone think he's the head of the party??
Shouldn't Pelosi be considered the head of the party, being Speaker of the House and all? - inactive, on 05/09/2008, -7/+10You little fascists should stop bitching and actually participate in this democracy. Don't like huffington post/liberal views? Either submit something else, or go away. Nobody is obligated to respect your simpering *****.
- julianwan, on 05/09/2008, -0/+3well he is a grammy winner
