First they try and get him to put his clothes on of his own will because he was in a public place.
Second they try again to get him to put his clothes back on with his own free will.
Third they try hand cuffing and arresting him and he resists.
Fourth they keep trying to get his hands behind his back and he keeps resisting.
The cops then force him to the ground and he still resists.
They put their knee into him to get him on his back and put his hands behind his back.
Then after a few more minutes of struggling they taser him.
They try and restrain him after he was tasered but he fights over and over again.
The cops did the right thing, if he had simply followed the laws of public decency this would not have happened. They could have beat him with the 2 foot long wooden battons, but instead of bruises he has a couple needle marks in his back. I'm all for police that abuse their power being brought to justice, but this naked guy was clearly in the wrong. If you break a law accept the consequences of your actions.

Even when he started to get "resistive" they threatened with hand on taser but did not draw till he actually resisted.
That's professional. THAT is a proper use of a taser. Not to force submission "just because" but to subdue without having to draw a gun.

The point is, there IS a law against nudity, and this guy was breaking that law. The officers did everything they could do to help the guy out, and he was being an idiot. There's that "serious moment" (when they put on the rubber gloves) that he ignored, and they gave him a dozen chances to put his clothes on and go be a smelly hippie amongst the other smelly hippies. He resisted, and he got pounded. I thought the cops (for once) used necessary force and diplomacy this time, sorry.

It's easy for us to watch the video and say, "oh he is harmless". But what if he would have really freaked out. Sure he probably wouldn't have been able to do much damage to any of the officers, but image yourself in the situation. Would you want to take a chance? For all they know, he could have gone Mike Tyson on them and try to bite their ear off.
